Ivica Kostelić i Calliste Antoine na brodu Croatia Full of Life odlično su odradili prvi dio utrke Transat Jacques Vabre. U jednom trenutku su čak bili peti u poretku klase 40, a od početka se drže u vodećoj skupini. Petog dana utrke, bili su u Top 15, ali im se dogodio i prvi veći problem, pišu Sportske novosti.

- Rasparao nam se veliki spinaker na oko 25 čvorova vjetra. Imamo rezervni veliki spinaker jer smo očekivali da bi jedan mogao puknuti. Za sada ostajemo na frakcionalnom spinakeru dok ne padne vjetar, a to će biti u subotu. Rasparani spinaker ćemo probati zakrpati koliko se može. Žao mi je samo da je puknuo u prvom dijelu regate - javio je Ivica.

Iza njih su i prije problema sa spinakerom bili vrlo naporni sati…

- Od srijede navečer smo ušli u zonu portugalskih pasata, a to su sjeverni vjetrovi koji pušu uzduž obale Portugala po anticikloni. Imali smo teške uvjete, 20-25 čvorova vjetra i morali smo biti na kormilu cijelu noć. Nismo uopće spavali, ali svi oko nas guraju 100 posto pa moramo i mi. Nalazimo se i dalje u vodećoj skupini koja se dosta odvojila od ostatka flote, a razlika je sve veća. Čini mi se da je razlika između prvog i posljednjeg oko 300 nautičkih milja - javio je koji sat ranije Ivica.

Tijekom posljepodneva ta razlika između vodećeg, a u tom trenutku je to bio Edenred i posljednjeg u klasi 40, broda Terre Exotique na 45. mjestu, narasla je na 410 nautičkih milja, a Croatia Full of Life je zaostajala 86 nautički milja i bila je na 14. poziciji.

Ivica Kostelić i Calliste Antoine na brodu Croatia Full of Life odlično su odradili prvi dio utrke Transat Jacques Vabre. U jednom trenutku su čak bili peti u poretku klase 40, a od početka se drže u vodećoj skupini. Petog dana utrke, bili su u Top 15, ali im se dogodio i prvi veći problem, pišu Sportske novosti.

- Rasparao nam se veliki spinaker na oko 25 čvorova vjetra. Imamo rezervni veliki spinaker jer smo očekivali da bi jedan mogao puknuti. Za sada ostajemo na frakcionalnom spinakeru dok ne padne vjetar, a to će biti u subotu. Rasparani spinaker ćemo probati zakrpati koliko se može. Žao mi je samo da je puknuo u prvom dijelu regate - javio je Ivica.

Iza njih su i prije problema sa spinakerom bili vrlo naporni sati…

- Od srijede navečer smo ušli u zonu portugalskih pasata, a to su sjeverni vjetrovi koji pušu uzduž obale Portugala po anticikloni. Imali smo teške uvjete, 20-25 čvorova vjetra i morali smo biti na kormilu cijelu noć. Nismo uopće spavali, ali svi oko nas guraju 100 posto pa moramo i mi. Nalazimo se i dalje u vodećoj skupini koja se dosta odvojila od ostatka flote, a razlika je sve veća. Čini mi se da je razlika između prvog i posljednjeg oko 300 nautičkih milja - javio je koji sat ranije Ivica.

Tijekom posljepodneva ta razlika između vodećeg, a u tom trenutku je to bio Edenred i posljednjeg u klasi 40, broda Terre Exotique na 45. mjestu, narasla je na 410 nautičkih milja, a Croatia Full of Life je zaostajala 86 nautički milja i bila je na 14. poziciji.

transatlantska regataDramatični trenuci za Kostelića: Ušli smo u zonu portugalskih pasata, nismo spavali cijelu noć. Onda nam se rasparao veliki spinaker

Ivica Kostelić i Calliste Antoine na brodu Croatia Full of Life odlično su odradili prvi dio utrke Transat Jacques Vabre. U jednom trenutku su čak bili peti u poretku klase 40, a od početka se drže u vodećoj skupini. Petog dana utrke, bili su u Top 15, ali im se dogodio i prvi veći problem, pišu Sportske novosti.

- Rasparao nam se veliki spinaker na oko 25 čvorova vjetra. Imamo rezervni veliki spinaker jer smo očekivali da bi jedan mogao puknuti. Za sada ostajemo na frakcionalnom spinakeru dok ne padne vjetar, a to će biti u subotu. Rasparani spinaker ćemo probati zakrpati koliko se može. Žao mi je samo da je puknuo u prvom dijelu regate - javio je Ivica.

Iza njih su i prije problema sa spinakerom bili vrlo naporni sati…

- Od srijede navečer smo ušli u zonu portugalskih pasata, a to su sjeverni vjetrovi koji pušu uzduž obale Portugala po anticikloni. Imali smo teške uvjete, 20-25 čvorova vjetra i morali smo biti na kormilu cijelu noć. Nismo uopće spavali, ali svi oko nas guraju 100 posto pa moramo i mi. Nalazimo se i dalje u vodećoj skupini koja se dosta odvojila od ostatka flote, a razlika je sve veća. Čini mi se da je razlika između prvog i posljednjeg oko 300 nautičkih milja - javio je koji sat ranije Ivica.

Tijekom posljepodneva ta razlika između vodećeg, a u tom trenutku je to bio Edenred i posljednjeg u klasi 40, broda Terre Exotique na 45. mjestu, narasla je na 410 nautičkih milja, a Croatia Full of Life je zaostajala 86 nautički milja i bila je na 14. poziciji.
