Zoja, Zdravka, Boris...tim glumcima nije bilo potrebno spomenuti prezime da bi se znalo na koga se misli. I danas je još uvijek tako, zadržali su se na vrhu u kolektivnom sjećanju. Otišla je i Zoja, još jedna od sjajne plejade umjetnika koji su utisnuli svoje tragove u svaki kutak splitskog teatra, koji su blistali u njegovim najplodnijim razdobljima ali i održavali ga u nekim slabjim. Zoja Odak bila je čvrstina, konstanta, ozbiljnost, sinonim za ozbiljan, promišljen rad. Na takve se teatar oslanja, na njima se gradi i održava.

Njen umjetnički izričaj bio je jedinstven, originalan, gotovo nemoguć za kopiranje. U prvom redu odnosi se to na siguran nastup, na njoj svojstveno dostojanstvo kojim bi zavladala scenom čim bi na nju stupila, bilo u antičkom kostimu - a ležale su joj iteako uloge antičkih junakinja - bilo u razderanim krpama ili večernjoj toaleti. Uz to, za nju specifična bila je blaga distanca, bolje rečeno, nepodilaženje publici. Bez ikakve primisli o koketiranju, unosila se u svoje likove, živjela neki nov, tuđi život sat ili dva i kao da bi se prenula tek onda kada bi se zastor počeo spuštati.

Bez straha

Bila je jedna od posljednih vestalki, čuvarica digniteta kazališne umjetnosti koju je štovala gotovo religiozno, opirući se svakoj profanaciji i banalnosti. Pomalo starinski pristup, moglo bi se reći - ali to se odnosilo samo na umjetnički rad. Privatno, ova je umjetnica bila znatno liberanija od mnogih kolega koji su joj mogli biti djeca, pa i unuci.

Strah, kalkulacije, kompromisi - sve je to bilo daleko od nje. U mnogim teškim, prijelomnim situacijama u kojima se našao splitski HNK prva bi jasno i glasno rekla što misli, ne brinući puno hoće li zbog toga biti uvrijeđenih, hoće li navući neprijateljstvo za vrat.

- Ja sam kao sluga Jernej iz Cankareve novele. Uvijek tražim nekavo pravo, uvijek se bunim, i onda kada nema od toga koristi, rekla je ne jednom.

Divno je bilo s njom i voditi razgovore, intervjuirati je. Misli su joj velikom brzinom sustizale jedna drugu, preplitale se, otvarale su se nove teme kao u kaledioskopu.., a opet, zrcalila se u njima jasnoća ideja, čvrsti stavovi i oštro, jednostavno poštenje.

I da, bila je svjesna svojih sposobnosti, svoje kvalitete i veličine. Da nije, niti bi onako kraljevski hodala gradom, niti bi mogla igrati kraljice.

Zoja, Zdravka, Boris...tim glumcima nije bilo potrebno spomenuti prezime da bi se znalo na koga se misli. I danas je još uvijek tako, zadržali su se na vrhu u kolektivnom sjećanju. Otišla je i Zoja, još jedna od sjajne plejade umjetnika koji su utisnuli svoje tragove u svaki kutak splitskog teatra, koji su blistali u njegovim najplodnijim razdobljima ali i održavali ga u nekim slabjim. Zoja Odak bila je čvrstina, konstanta, ozbiljnost, sinonim za ozbiljan, promišljen rad. Na takve se teatar oslanja, na njima se gradi i održava.

Njen umjetnički izričaj bio je jedinstven, originalan, gotovo nemoguć za kopiranje. U prvom redu odnosi se to na siguran nastup, na njoj svojstveno dostojanstvo kojim bi zavladala scenom čim bi na nju stupila, bilo u antičkom kostimu - a ležale su joj iteako uloge antičkih junakinja - bilo u razderanim krpama ili večernjoj toaleti. Uz to, za nju specifična bila je blaga distanca, bolje rečeno, nepodilaženje publici. Bez ikakve primisli o koketiranju, unosila se u svoje likove, živjela neki nov, tuđi život sat ili dva i kao da bi se prenula tek onda kada bi se zastor počeo spuštati.

Bez straha

Bila je jedna od posljednih vestalki, čuvarica digniteta kazališne umjetnosti koju je štovala gotovo religiozno, opirući se svakoj profanaciji i banalnosti. Pomalo starinski pristup, moglo bi se reći - ali to se odnosilo samo na umjetnički rad. Privatno, ova je umjetnica bila znatno liberanija od mnogih kolega koji su joj mogli biti djeca, pa i unuci.

Strah, kalkulacije, kompromisi - sve je to bilo daleko od nje. U mnogim teškim, prijelomnim situacijama u kojima se našao splitski HNK prva bi jasno i glasno rekla što misli, ne brinući puno hoće li zbog toga biti uvrijeđenih, hoće li navući neprijateljstvo za vrat.

- Ja sam kao sluga Jernej iz Cankareve novele. Uvijek tražim nekavo pravo, uvijek se bunim, i onda kada nema od toga koristi, rekla je ne jednom.

Divno je bilo s njom i voditi razgovore, intervjuirati je. Misli su joj velikom brzinom sustizale jedna drugu, preplitale se, otvarale su se nove teme kao u kaledioskopu.., a opet, zrcalila se u njima jasnoća ideja, čvrsti stavovi i oštro, jednostavno poštenje.

I da, bila je svjesna svojih sposobnosti, svoje kvalitete i veličine. Da nije, niti bi onako kraljevski hodala gradom, niti bi mogla igrati kraljice.

Zoja, Zdravka, Boris...tim glumcima nije bilo potrebno spomenuti prezime da bi se znalo na koga se misli. I danas je još uvijek tako, zadržali su se na vrhu u kolektivnom sjećanju. Otišla je i Zoja, još jedna od sjajne plejade umjetnika koji su utisnuli svoje tragove u svaki kutak splitskog teatra, koji su blistali u njegovim najplodnijim razdobljima ali i održavali ga u nekim slabjim. Zoja Odak bila je čvrstina, konstanta, ozbiljnost, sinonim za ozbiljan, promišljen rad. Na takve se teatar oslanja, na njima se gradi i održava.

Njen umjetnički izričaj bio je jedinstven, originalan, gotovo nemoguć za kopiranje. U prvom redu odnosi se to na siguran nastup, na njoj svojstveno dostojanstvo kojim bi zavladala scenom čim bi na nju stupila, bilo u antičkom kostimu - a ležale su...
