Prva skupina od pedesetero djece iz Ukrajine stigla je u petak, 22. srpnja, u Dubrovnik gdje će desetak dana boraviti na ljetovanju kako bi se u kupanju, druženju i upoznavanju nove sredine odmaknula nakratko od teške ratne zbilje u svojoj zemlji. Boravak u Dubrovniku pod nazivom ”U zagrljaju Libertasa” odvija se u organizaciji Caritasa Dubrovačke biskupije koji je odgovorio na poticaj Hrvatskog Caritasa i ukrajinskog Caritasa Spes.
Djeca iz Ukrajine smještena su u Sjemeništu Dubrovačke biskupije, a zahvaljujući dubrovačkim poduzetnicima i institucijama osigurani su im obroci kao i obilasci dubrovačkih znamenitosti.

Uz posjet zidinama i odlazak na Srđ djeca će posjetiti dubrovačke crkve i druge znamenitosti te poći na izlete na Lokrum, Lopud i u Međugorje. Odigrat će humanitarnu utakmicu 25. srpnja s djecom u župi Presvetog Spasitelja u Mokošici, a susrest će se i s dubrovačkim biskupom mons. Rokom Glasnovićem. Ostalo vrijeme djeca u pratnji animatora iskoristit će za kupanje, odmor i razne igre koje su za njih osmislili djelatnici i volonteri biskupijskog Caritasa koji će sve vrijeme biti podrška njihovom boravku u Dubrovniku.
Ovo ljetovanje dio je pilot programa za podršku Ukrajini, nastalog u suradnji s Američkim Caritasom (CRS), a kojim koordinira Hrvatski Caritas. Druga skupina djece boravit će u Dubrovniku u prvoj polovici kolovoza.
Podsjetimo kako je Caritas Dubrovačke biskupije i prijašnjih godina sudjelovao kao suorganizator u sličnim projektima poput programa „Ljeto kao radost“ koji je bio namijenjen besplatnom boravaku obitelji teškog socijalnog stanja iz Vukovara dok je „More prijateljstva“ bilo usmjereno prema djeci iz Slavonije. Župni Caritasi, prema svojim mogućnostima, također su povremeno organizirali boravak djece s posebnim potrebama ili drugih posebnih skupina na moru.

Prva skupina od pedesetero djece iz Ukrajine stigla je u petak, 22. srpnja, u Dubrovnik gdje će desetak dana boraviti na ljetovanju kako bi se u kupanju, druženju i upoznavanju nove sredine odmaknula nakratko od teške ratne zbilje u svojoj zemlji. Boravak u Dubrovniku pod nazivom ”U zagrljaju Libertasa” odvija se u organizaciji Caritasa Dubrovačke biskupije koji je odgovorio na poticaj Hrvatskog Caritasa i ukrajinskog Caritasa Spes.
Djeca iz Ukrajine smještena su u Sjemeništu Dubrovačke biskupije, a zahvaljujući dubrovačkim poduzetnicima i institucijama osigurani su im obroci kao i obilasci dubrovačkih znamenitosti.

Uz posjet zidinama i odlazak na Srđ djeca će posjetiti dubrovačke crkve i druge znamenitosti te poći na izlete na Lokrum, Lopud i u Međugorje. Odigrat će humanitarnu utakmicu 25. srpnja s djecom u župi Presvetog Spasitelja u Mokošici, a susrest će se i s dubrovačkim biskupom mons. Rokom Glasnovićem. Ostalo vrijeme djeca u pratnji animatora iskoristit će za kupanje, odmor i razne igre koje su za njih osmislili djelatnici i volonteri biskupijskog Caritasa koji će sve vrijeme biti podrška njihovom boravku u Dubrovniku.
Ovo ljetovanje dio je pilot programa za podršku Ukrajini, nastalog u suradnji s Američkim Caritasom (CRS), a kojim koordinira Hrvatski Caritas. Druga skupina djece boravit će u Dubrovniku u prvoj polovici kolovoza.
Podsjetimo kako je Caritas Dubrovačke biskupije i prijašnjih godina sudjelovao kao suorganizator u sličnim projektima poput programa „Ljeto kao radost“ koji je bio namijenjen besplatnom boravaku obitelji teškog socijalnog stanja iz Vukovara dok je „More prijateljstva“ bilo usmjereno prema djeci iz Slavonije. Župni Caritasi, prema svojim mogućnostima, također su povremeno organizirali boravak djece s posebnim potrebama ili drugih posebnih skupina na moru.
