Okupili su se točno u podne u kavani Dubravka na Pilama. Nije im bilo teško doći po vrućini, nitko se nije žalio jer se 65. godišnjica mature događa jednom u životu. I doista, bivši dubrovački gimnazijalci, većinom zagrebački studenti i danas redom naši ugledni sugrađani, jedva su se dočekali naći pa uz lagani objed razmijeniti priče i anegdote iz svojih srednjoškolskih dana. Matura je uslijedila u školskoj godini 1957/58., a tadašnji su maturanti potekli su iz doista brojne generacije. Organizatorica proslave velike obljetnice, gospođa Maja Dabrović kaže kako je tih 1950-tih gimnaziju na Pločama pohađalo čak 114 učenika, u četiri razreda:

- Razredi A, B i C imali su 29 gimnazijalaca, a u D ih je išlo 27. Nas se danas u Dubravki okupilo četrnaest, no ima nas još po Dubrovniku, ostatku Hrvatske i po svijetu. Neki nažalost zbog bolesti nisu mogli sudjelovati, a jedan kolega iz Rovinja rekao je da će doći kad budemo obilježavali sedamdesetu godišnjicu mature jer dolazi samo na ‘okrugle‘. Ma mi smo vam jedna posebna generacija, šalimo se međusobno da smo bili ‘peri-deri‘ generacija, teško se živjelo u to doba, ali mi smo sve izdržali. Na fakultet smo prvo išli brodom do Splita, pa satima željeznicom do Zagreba. I vidite nas danas kako smo vitalni, nije to lako kad ti je 83 ili 84 godine – govori gospođa Maja, čiji je suprug Pavo također nazočio na svečanosti. A kako i ne bi, kad su išli u istu školu. Posloži li se sve kako su zamislili, susrest će se ponovno dogodine jer ne mogu dočekati sedamdesetu obljetnicu ispita zrelosti.

Na objedu na Pilama su bili Mato Kunić, Maja Dabrović, bivši dubrovački gradonačelnik Pero Poljanić, Lucija Krstulović, Pavo Dabrović, Katija Sindik, Marija Đerek, Tereza Melanjuk, Marija Morović, Hrvoje Ribičić, Vladimir Šarić, Anica Cerić, Tomislav Carić i Marija Kakarigji.

Simpatični maturanti nadaju se da će na sljedeći susret doći još dubrovačkih gimnazijalaca iz zlatnih 1950-tih!

Maturanti dubrovačke Gimnazije proslavili su danas 65 godina mature

Okupili su se točno u podne u kavani Dubravka na Pilama. Nije im bilo teško doći po vrućini, nitko se nije žalio jer se 65. godišnjica mature događa jednom u životu. I doista, bivši dubrovački gimnazijalci, većinom zagrebački studenti i danas redom naši ugledni sugrađani, jedva su se dočekali naći pa uz lagani objed razmijeniti priče i anegdote iz svojih srednjoškolskih dana. Matura je uslijedila u školskoj godini 1957/58., a tadašnji su maturanti potekli su iz doista brojne generacije. Organizatorica proslave velike obljetnice, gospođa Maja Dabrović kaže kako je tih 1950-tih gimnaziju na Pločama pohađalo čak 114 učenika, u četiri razreda:

- Razredi A, B i C imali su 29 gimnazijalaca, a u D ih je išlo 27. Nas se danas u Dubravki okupilo četrnaest, no ima nas još po Dubrovniku, ostatku Hrvatske i po svijetu. Neki nažalost zbog bolesti nisu mogli sudjelovati, a jedan kolega iz Rovinja rekao je da će doći kad budemo obilježavali sedamdesetu godišnjicu mature jer dolazi samo na ‘okrugle‘. Ma mi smo vam jedna posebna generacija, šalimo se međusobno da smo bili ‘peri-deri‘ generacija, teško se živjelo u to doba, ali mi smo sve izdržali. Na fakultet smo prvo išli brodom do Splita, pa satima željeznicom do Zagreba. I vidite nas danas kako smo vitalni, nije to lako kad ti je 83 ili 84 godine – govori gospođa Maja, čiji je suprug Pavo također nazočio na svečanosti. A kako i ne bi, kad su išli u istu školu. Posloži li se sve kako su zamislili, susrest će se ponovno dogodine jer ne mogu dočekati sedamdesetu obljetnicu ispita zrelosti.
