Više od 150 spasilaca, među kojima i hrvatski speleolozi, vode utrku s vremenom kako bi spasili američkog kolegu kojem je u spilji koju je istraživao u južnoj Turskoj pozlilo te je ostao zarobljen na oko 1000 metara dubine, prenose agencije.
Mark Dickey (40) član međunarodne istraživačke misije, zadobio je krvarenje u probavnom traktu na 1000 metara dubine u jamskom sustavu Morca na planinskom lancu Taurus, objavio je turski speleološki savez (TUMAF).
"Nekoliko međunarodnih timova, među kojima su Hrvati i Talijani, pomažu u operaciji spašavanja. Amerikanac je na oko 1000 metara dubine, timovi su podijeli silazak u jamski sustav na sedam etapa", rekao je predsjednik TUMAF-a Bulent Genc.
Po njegovim riječima, spasilačka akcija bi mogla potrajati oko 10 dana, ali možda i kraće ako Dickey bude dobro.
"Ako mu se stanje pogorša, spašavanje bi se moglo otegnuti, no stanje mu se trenutno poboljšalo i već može stajati", dodao je Genc.
Ukupno 18 speleospašavatelja HGSS-a otputovalo je u utorak navečer u međunarodnu misiju speleospašavanja u južnoj Turskoj.
Prema objavi HGSS-a, "riječ je o kolegi i prijatelju HGSS-a koji je u više navrata sudjelovao na HGSS speleo tečajevima i istraživanjima u jamama na Velebitu".
"Poznajem unesrećenog, radi se o odličnom čovjeku. Prvi poziv iz jame stigao je u nedjelju ujutro. Radilo se o međunarodnoj ekspediciji, a kad mu je pozlilo, odmah su išla dva poziva u pomoć. Prvi su dobile lokalne snage u Turskoj, a zatim je pozvana i Europska speleospasilačka asocijacija (ECRA). Već u ponedjeljak je ondje bio tim iz Mađarske te je do njega stigla liječnica", rekao je o međunarodnoj speleospasilačkoj akciji Dinko Novosel, predsjednik ECRA-e.
TUMAF je priopćio da je s unesrećenim na dubini od 1040 metara uspostavljena telefonska linija, do njega je u srijedu spuštena i liječnica, a hrvatski tim radi na uspostavi pričuvnog komunikacijskig sustava "CaveLink".
Liječnici moraju odlučiti da li je moguće Amerikanca izvući samo užetom na površinu, ne koristeći nosila.
Jamski sustav Morca je treći najveći u Turskoj i nalazi se na nadmorskoj visini od 2140 metara.
Marko Rakovac, pročelnik Komisije za speleospašavanje HGSS-a, rekao je za medije da je spasilačka akcija "iznimno zahtjevna".
"Akcija je iznimno zahtjevna i to dodatno komplicira situaciju zato što se bazni kamp nalazi na 2140 metara nadmorske visine, dakle prilično istureno i nepristupačno i na tome je mjestu potrebno osigurati logistički kamp", rekao je Rakovac.
Istaknuo je da će spasiocima stiže preko jedne tone opreme za spašavanje.

Mark Dickey (40) član međunarodne istraživačke misije, zadobio je krvarenje u probavnom traktu na 1000 metara dubine u jamskom sustavu Morca na planinskom lancu Taurus, objavio je turski speleološki savez (TUMAF).
"Nekoliko međunarodnih timova, među kojima su Hrvati i Talijani, pomažu u operaciji spašavanja. Amerikanac je na oko 1000 metara dubine, timovi su podijeli silazak u jamski sustav na sedam etapa", rekao je predsjednik TUMAF-a Bulent Genc.
Po njegovim riječima, spasilačka akcija bi mogla potrajati oko 10 dana, ali možda i kraće ako Dickey bude dobro.
"Ako mu se stanje pogorša, spašavanje bi se moglo otegnuti, no stanje mu se trenutno poboljšalo i već može stajati", dodao je Genc.
Ukupno 18 speleospašavatelja HGSS-a otputovalo je u utorak navečer u međunarodnu misiju speleospašavanja u južnoj Turskoj.
Prema objavi HGSS-a, "riječ je o kolegi i prijatelju HGSS-a koji je u više navrata sudjelovao na HGSS speleo tečajevima i istraživanjima u jamama na Velebitu".
"Poznajem unesrećenog, radi se o odličnom čovjeku. Prvi poziv iz jame stigao je u nedjelju ujutro. Radilo se o međunarodnoj ekspediciji, a kad mu je pozlilo, odmah su išla dva poziva u pomoć. Prvi su dobile lokalne snage u Turskoj, a zatim je pozvana i Europska speleospasilačka asocijacija (ECRA). Već u ponedjeljak je ondje bio tim iz Mađarske te je do njega stigla liječnica", rekao je o međunarodnoj speleospasilačkoj akciji Dinko Novosel, predsjednik ECRA-e.
TUMAF je priopćio da je s unesrećenim na dubini od 1040 metara uspostavljena telefonska linija, do njega je u srijedu spuštena i liječnica, a hrvatski tim radi na uspostavi pričuvnog komunikacijskig sustava "CaveLink".
Liječnici moraju odlučiti da li je moguće Amerikanca izvući samo užetom na površinu, ne koristeći nosila.
Jamski sustav Morca je treći najveći u Turskoj i nalazi se na nadmorskoj visini od 2140 metara.
Marko Rakovac, pročelnik Komisije za speleospašavanje HGSS-a, rekao je za medije da je spasilačka akcija "iznimno zahtjevna".
"Akcija je iznimno zahtjevna i to dodatno komplicira situaciju zato što se bazni kamp nalazi na 2140 metara nadmorske visine, dakle prilično istureno i nepristupačno i na tome je mjestu potrebno osigurati logistički kamp", rekao je Rakovac.
Istaknuo je da će spasiocima stiže preko jedne tone opreme za spašavanje.
