Gradsko vijeće Kijeva moglo bi nazvati ulicu po nacističkom kolaboracionistu i SS-ovcu Volodimiru Kubijoviču, izvještava Jerusalem Post. Isti list prenosi zabrinutost Eduarda Dolinskog, direktora Ukrajinskog židovskog odbora. Prema Dolinskom, ulica u ukrajinskoj prijestolnici bit će preimenovana nakon prijedloga koji je usvojilo gradsko vijeće i nosit će ime Volodimir Kubijovič. Kubijovič je, inače, tijekom holokausta bio uključen u formiranje notorne jedinice Waffen SS Galizien, nacističke vojne snage opremljene ukrajinskim dobrovoljcima.

Govoreći za The Jerusalem Post, Dolinski je objasnio da je povijesno stručno povjerenstvo unutar Gradskog vijeća Kijeva iznijelo nekoliko opcija za preimenovanje onoga što je sada Ulica Prževalski u Kijevu, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Imena koja je predložila povijesna komisija gradsko je vijeće iznijelo na javno glasovanje na aplikaciji Kyiv Digital, gdje će glasovanje ostati otvoreno do 16. travnja.

Opcija da se ulica preimenuje po Volodimiru Kubijoviču do sada je dobila većinu, s 31% glasova, dok su druga i treća najveća opcija dobile samo 18%, odnosno 10% glasova.

Tijekom rata, 1943., Kubijovič je preuzeo ključnu ulogu u formiranju Waffen-SS Galizien i javno objavio svoju spremnost da uzme oružje i bori se za nacističku stvar.

Nakon što se Crvena armija približila Poljskoj 1944., Kubijovič je pobjegao u Njemačku, a zatim i u Francusku. Kubijovič je umro u Parizu 1985. godine, a mnogi ga u Ukrajini i danas prepoznaju ga istaknutog i važnog ukrajinskog učenjaka, unatoč nacističkoj prošlosti.

Bude li ulica u Kijevu doista nazvana po njemu, to neće biti prvi put da je Ukrajina odlučila odati počast Kubijoviču. Godine 2000. ukrajinska poštanska služba izdala je žig u čast 100. obljetnice njegova rođenja, a u ukrajinskom gradu Lavovu ploča u čast nacističkog dužnosnika još uvijek stoji.

Gradsko vijeće Kijeva moglo bi nazvati ulicu po nacističkom kolaboracionistu i SS-ovcu Volodimiru Kubijoviču, izvještava Jerusalem Post. Isti list prenosi zabrinutost Eduarda Dolinskog, direktora Ukrajinskog židovskog odbora. Prema Dolinskom, ulica u ukrajinskoj prijestolnici bit će preimenovana nakon prijedloga koji je usvojilo gradsko vijeće i nosit će ime Volodimir Kubijovič. Kubijovič je, inače, tijekom holokausta bio uključen u formiranje notorne jedinice Waffen SS Galizien, nacističke vojne snage opremljene ukrajinskim dobrovoljcima.

Govoreći za The Jerusalem Post, Dolinski je objasnio da je povijesno stručno povjerenstvo unutar Gradskog vijeća Kijeva iznijelo nekoliko opcija za preimenovanje onoga što je sada Ulica Prževalski u Kijevu, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Imena koja je predložila povijesna komisija gradsko je vijeće iznijelo na javno glasovanje na aplikaciji Kyiv Digital, gdje će glasovanje ostati otvoreno do 16. travnja.

Opcija da se ulica preimenuje po Volodimiru Kubijoviču do sada je dobila većinu, s 31% glasova, dok su druga i treća najveća opcija dobile samo 18%, odnosno 10% glasova.

Tijekom rata, 1943., Kubijovič je preuzeo ključnu ulogu u formiranju Waffen-SS Galizien i javno objavio svoju spremnost da uzme oružje i bori se za nacističku stvar.

Nakon što se Crvena armija približila Poljskoj 1944., Kubijovič je pobjegao u Njemačku, a zatim i u Francusku. Kubijovič je umro u Parizu 1985. godine, a mnogi ga u Ukrajini i danas prepoznaju ga istaknutog i važnog ukrajinskog učenjaka, unatoč nacističkoj prošlosti.

Bude li ulica u Kijevu doista nazvana po njemu, to neće biti prvi put da je Ukrajina odlučila odati počast Kubijoviču. Godine 2000. ukrajinska poštanska služba izdala je žig u čast 100. obljetnice njegova rođenja, a u ukrajinskom gradu Lavovu ploča u čast nacističkog dužnosnika još uvijek stoji.

U Izraelu su bijesni: Pogledajte po kome Ukrajinci žele imenovati ulicu u centru Kijeva

Gradsko vijeće Kijeva moglo bi nazvati ulicu po nacističkom kolaboracionistu i SS-ovcu Volodimiru Kubijoviču, izvještava Jerusalem Post. Isti list prenosi zabrinutost Eduarda Dolinskog, direktora Ukrajinskog židovskog odbora. Prema Dolinskom, ulica u ukrajinskoj prijestolnici bit će preimenovana nakon prijedloga koji je usvojilo gradsko vijeće i nosit će ime Volodimir Kubijovič. Kubijovič je, inače, tijekom holokausta bio uključen u formiranje notorne jedinice Waffen SS Galizien, nacističke vojne snage opremljene ukrajinskim dobrovoljcima.

Govoreći za The Jerusalem Post, Dolinski je objasnio da je povijesno stručno povjerenstvo unutar Gradskog vijeća Kijeva iznijelo nekoliko opcija za preimenovanje onoga što je sada Ulica Prževalski u Kijevu, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Imena koja je predložila povijesna komisija gradsko je vijeće iznijelo na javno glasovanje na aplikaciji Kyiv Digital, gdje će glasovanje ostati otvoreno do 16. travnja.

Opcija da se ulica preimenuje po Volodimiru Kubijoviču do sada je dobila većinu, s 31% glasova, dok su druga i treća najveća opcija dobile samo 18%, odnosno 10% glasova.

Tijekom rata, 1943., Kubijovič je preuzeo ključnu ulogu u formiranju Waffen-SS Galizien i javno objavio svoju spremnost da uzme oružje i bori se za nacističku stvar.

Nakon što se Crvena armija približila Poljskoj 1944., Kubijovič je pobjegao u Njemačku, a zatim i u Francusku. Kubijovič je umro u Parizu 1985. godine, a mnogi ga u Ukrajini i danas prepoznaju ga istaknutog i važnog ukrajinskog učenjaka, unatoč nacističkoj prošlosti.

Bude li ulica u Kijevu doista nazvana po njemu, to neće biti prvi put da je Ukrajina odlučila odati počast Kubijoviču. Godine 2000. ukrajinska poštanska služba izdala je žig u čast 100. obljetnice njegova rođenja, a u ukrajinskom gradu Lavovu ploča u čast nacističkog dužnosnika još uvijek stoji.
