Europska medicinska agencija (EMA) trebala bi u četvrtak donijeti procjenu o sigurnosti upotrebe cjepiva AstraZenece protiv covida-19, nakon što je više zemalja privremeno obustavilo njegovo korištenje zbog straha od nuspojava.
Sigurnosni odbor EMA-e poduzeo je detaljnu procjenu o malom broju slučajeva koji se odnose na pojavu krvnih ugrušaka do čega je došlo kod primatelja cjepiva.
Odbor zadužen za procjenu rizika (Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee -PRAC) objavit će potrebne preporuke za daljnje djelovanje nakon svog sastanka u četvtrak.
Nakon što su se pojavila izvješća o slučajevima zgrušavanja krvi neke zemlje u Europskoj uniji zaustavile su korištenje cjepiva britansko-švedske tvrtke, što je dodatno odgodilo ionako tromu kampanju cijepljenja.
Mnoge od njih objavile su da će pričekati procjenu i preporuku Europske medicinske agencije.

EMA je priopćila kako razmatra dostupne podatke koji se odnose na sve tromboemboličke slučajeve zabilježene nakon cijepljenja, uključujući dodatne podatke koje su joj dostavile nacionalne zdravstvene agencije.
"Nastavlja se brza i temeljita analiza dostupnih podataka i kliničkih okolnosti u vezi s određenim slučajevima kako bi se utvrdilo je li im cjepivo moglo doprinijeti ili su događaji vjerojatnije uzrokovani drugim uzrocima", navela je EMA.
I EMA i Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) preporučile su nastavak cijepljenja cjepivom AstraZeneca do daljnjeg, napominjući kako su njegove prednosti nadmašile rizike Covid-19.

Europska medicinska agencija (EMA) trebala bi u četvrtak donijeti procjenu o sigurnosti upotrebe cjepiva AstraZenece protiv covida-19, nakon što je više zemalja privremeno obustavilo njegovo korištenje zbog straha od nuspojava.
Sigurnosni odbor EMA-e poduzeo je detaljnu procjenu o malom broju slučajeva koji se odnose na pojavu krvnih ugrušaka do čega je došlo kod primatelja cjepiva.
Odbor zadužen za procjenu rizika (Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee -PRAC) objavit će potrebne preporuke za daljnje djelovanje nakon svog sastanka u četvtrak.
Nakon što su se pojavila izvješća o slučajevima zgrušavanja krvi neke zemlje u Europskoj uniji zaustavile su korištenje cjepiva britansko-švedske tvrtke, što je dodatno odgodilo ionako tromu kampanju cijepljenja.
Mnoge od njih objavile su da će pričekati procjenu i preporuku Europske medicinske agencije.

EMA je priopćila kako razmatra dostupne podatke koji se odnose na sve tromboemboličke slučajeve zabilježene nakon cijepljenja, uključujući dodatne podatke koje su joj dostavile nacionalne zdravstvene agencije.
"Nastavlja se brza i temeljita analiza dostupnih podataka i kliničkih okolnosti u vezi s određenim slučajevima kako bi se utvrdilo je li im cjepivo moglo doprinijeti ili su događaji vjerojatnije uzrokovani drugim uzrocima", navela je EMA.
I EMA i Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) preporučile su nastavak cijepljenja cjepivom AstraZeneca do daljnjeg, napominjući kako su njegove prednosti nadmašile rizike Covid-19.
