Ursula Von der Leyen u obraćanju javnosti u subotu navečer potvrdila je da su se Europska unija, SAD, Kanada i Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo složili da se ruske banke isključe iz Swifta!

- Na taj način ćemo ih spriječiti da mogu poslovati diljem svijeta i blokirati ruski uvoz i izvoz - rekla je šefica Europske komisije.

Međutim, to nije sve. Europska unija će zamznuti svu imovinu i transakcije Ruske centralne banke u EU, te zabraniti ruskim oligarsima korištenje financijske imovine na europskim tržištima, prenosi jutarnji.hr.

- Putin je krenuo putem koji ima za cilj uništenje Ukrajine. Ali on ne shvaća da uništava budućnost svoje zemlje.

Mjera, koja uključuje restrikcije međunarodnim rezervama Ruske središnje banke, bit će provedena u idućim danima, najavile su navedene zemlje u zajedničkoj izjavi.

- Osigurat ćemo da se određene ruske banke uklone iz Swifta - kazala je u subotu navečer predsjednica Europske komisije Ursula von der Leyen.

Time će te banke biti isključene iz međunarodnog financijskog sustava što će naštetiti njihovoj sposobnosti da djeluju globalno.

Predsjednica EK kazala je da će izbacivanjem iz Swifta banke biti onemogućene u provedbi većine njihovih međunarodnih transakcija i time će efektivno biti blokiran ruski uvoz i izvoz.

Saveznici će time spriječiti Rusiju da koristi "svoju ratnu škrinju", paralizirati imovinu središnje banke i zamrznuti njezine transakcije.

Ruskim oligarsima bit će zabranjeno korištenje financijske imovine na europskim tržištima, rekla je.

Sve navedene mjere znatno će otežati Putinovu sposobnost da financira rat i teško pogoditi njegovu ekonomiju. Putin je krenuo na put uništenja Ukrajine, a zapravo uništava budućnost vlastite zemlje".

Europski ministri vanjskih poslova razgovarat će o tome na virtualnom sastanku u nedjelju navečer.

Swift (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) globalna je financijska žila kucavica koja omogućuje nesmetan i brz transfer novca preko granica.

Funkcionira kao sustav za brzu razmjenu poruka kojima se korisnika obavještava kada je novac poslan i kada je sjeo na račun.

Uspostavljen je 1973. u Belgiji i povezuje 11.000 banaka i institucija u više od 200 zemalja. Kroz njega dnevno prođe više od 40 milijuna poruka o 1.000 milijardi dolara transakcija kompanija i vlada.

Swift su zajedno uspostavile američke i europske banke kako nijedna od njih ne bi razvila vlastiti sustav i time stekla monopol na prekogranične novčane transfere.

Mreža je danas u zajedničkom vlasništvu više od 2.000 banaka i financijskih institucija.

Nadzire ju belgijska središnja banka u partnerstvu s vodećim središnjim bankama iz cijelog svijeta, uključujući američki Fed i britansku središnju banku.

Swift svojim članicama omogućuje sigurnu međunarodnu trgovinu i ne bi trebao zauzimati stranu u sukobima.

Međutim, Iranu je zabranjen pristup Swiftu 2012. godine u sklopu sankcija zbog nuklearnog programa. Izgubio je gotovo polovinu prihoda od izvoza nafte i 30 posto vanjske trgovine, navodi jutarnji.hr.

Ursula Von der Leyen u obraćanju javnosti u subotu navečer potvrdila je da su se Europska unija, SAD, Kanada i Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo složili da se ruske banke isključe iz Swifta!

- Na taj način ćemo ih spriječiti da mogu poslovati diljem svijeta i blokirati ruski uvoz i izvoz - rekla je šefica Europske komisije.

Mjera, koja uključuje restrikcije međunarodnim rezervama Ruske središnje banke, bit će provedena u idućim danima, najavile su navedene zemlje u zajedničkoj izjavi.

Ruskim oligarsima bit će zabranjeno korištenje financijske imovine na europskim tržištima, rekla je.

Sve navedene mjere znatno će otežati Putinovu sposobnost da financira rat i teško pogoditi njegovu ekonomiju. Putin je krenuo na put uništenja Ukrajine, a zapravo uništava budućnost vlastite zemlje".

Međutim, Iranu je zabranjen pristup Swiftu 2012. godine u sklopu sankcija zbog nuklearnog programa. Izgubio je gotovo polovinu prihoda od izvoza nafte i 30 posto vanjske trgovine, navodi jutarnji.hr.

Ursula Von der Leyen u obraćanju javnosti u subotu navečer potvrdila je da su se Europska unija, SAD, Kanada i Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo složili da se ruske banke isključe iz Swifta!
