Šesnaest je godina prošlo od kobnog 30. kolovoza 2007. kada je gašenje požara na otoku Kornat postalo najveća tragedija u povijesti hrvatskog vatrogastva u kojoj je smrtno stradalo 12 vatrogasaca, piše Jutarnji list.

Šestorica njih preminula su odmah na mjestu nesreće: Gabrijel Skočić (20) iz Vodica, Marko Stančić (17) iz Šibenika, Hrvoje Strikoman (19) iz Vodica, Dino Klarić (33) iz Šibenika, Ivan Marinović (33) iz Grebaštice, Ivica Crvelin (42) iz Tisnog, a za ostale nastradale organiziran je bio prihvat u Općoj bolnici Zadar.

Vijesti i fotografije prevoženja stradalih vatrogasaca te večeri potresle su javnost, a informacije narednih dana bile su sve tragičnije jer je od sedam vatrogasaca njih šest preminulo u bolnici: Tomislav Crvelin (23), Josip Lučić (19) i Ante Crvelin (23) iz Tisnog, Ante Juričev Mikulin (22), Karlo Ševerdija (17) iz Vodica i Marinko Knežević (52) iz Boraje.

Jedini koji je preživio tragediju je Frane Lučić, koji i danas nosi teške posljedice zbog zadobivenih opeklina.

Dražen Slavica, županijski vatrogasni zapovjednik, bio je jedini optužen za kornatsku tragediju, ali je nakon višegodišnjeg suđenja oslobođen.

"I nakon 16 godina, nosimo istu veliku bol i tugu kada se prisjetimo prerano izgubljenih 12 života hrabrih hrvatskih vatrogasaca", poručio je u srijedu ministar obrane Mario Banožić.

Poginuli vatrogasci, istaknuo je, predano i časno obavljali su svoju zadaću i zato sjećanje na njih nikada ne smije izblijediti.

"Hrvatska će zauvijek čuvati uspomenu na najveću tragediju koja je pogodila hrvatsko vatrogastvo i hrvatsku državu nakon Domovinskoga rata“, poručio je Banožić, a priopćilo Ministarstvo obrane.

Šesnaest je godina prošlo od kobnog 30. kolovoza 2007. kada je gašenje požara na otoku Kornat postalo najveća tragedija u povijesti hrvatskog vatrogastva u kojoj je smrtno stradalo 12 vatrogasaca, piše Jutarnji list.

Šestorica njih preminula su odmah na mjestu nesreće: Gabrijel Skočić (20) iz Vodica, Marko Stančić (17) iz Šibenika, Hrvoje Strikoman (19) iz Vodica, Dino Klarić (33) iz Šibenika, Ivan Marinović (33) iz Grebaštice, Ivica Crvelin (42) iz Tisnog, a za ostale nastradale organiziran je bio prihvat u Općoj bolnici Zadar.

Vijesti i fotografije prevoženja stradalih vatrogasaca te večeri potresle su javnost, a informacije narednih dana bile su sve tragičnije jer je od sedam vatrogasaca njih šest preminulo u bolnici: Tomislav Crvelin (23), Josip Lučić (19) i Ante Crvelin (23) iz Tisnog, Ante Juričev Mikulin (22), Karlo Ševerdija (17) iz Vodica i Marinko Knežević (52) iz Boraje.

Jedini koji je preživio tragediju je Frane Lučić, koji i danas nosi teške posljedice zbog zadobivenih opeklina.

Dražen Slavica, županijski vatrogasni zapovjednik, bio je jedini optužen za kornatsku tragediju, ali je nakon višegodišnjeg suđenja oslobođen.

"I nakon 16 godina, nosimo istu veliku bol i tugu kada se prisjetimo prerano izgubljenih 12 života hrabrih hrvatskih vatrogasaca", poručio je u srijedu ministar obrane Mario Banožić.

Poginuli vatrogasci, istaknuo je, predano i časno obavljali su svoju zadaću i zato sjećanje na njih nikada ne smije izblijediti.

"Hrvatska će zauvijek čuvati uspomenu na najveću tragediju koja je pogodila hrvatsko vatrogastvo i hrvatsku državu nakon Domovinskoga rata“, poručio je Banožić, a priopćilo Ministarstvo obrane.

Šesnaest je godina prošlo od kobnog 30. kolovoza 2007. kada je gašenje požara na otoku Kornat postalo najveća tragedija u povijesti hrvatskog vatrogastva u kojoj je smrtno stradalo 12 vatrogasaca, piše Jutarnji list.

Šestorica njih preminula su odmah na mjestu nesreće: Gabrijel Skočić (20) iz Vodica, Marko Stančić (17) iz Šibenika, Hrvoje Strikoman (19) iz Vodica, Dino Klarić (33) iz Šibenika, Ivan Marinović (33) iz Grebaštice, Ivica Crvelin (42) iz Tisnog, a za ostale nastradale organiziran je bio prihvat u Općoj bolnici Zadar.

Vijesti i fotografije prevoženja stradalih vatrogasaca te večeri potresle su javnost, a informacije narednih dana bile su sve tragičnije jer je od sedam vatrogasaca njih šest preminulo u bolnici: Tomislav Crvelin (23), Josip Lučić (19) i Ante Crvelin (23) iz Tisnog, Ante Juričev Mikulin (22), Karlo Ševerdija (17) iz Vodica i Marinko Knežević (52) iz Boraje.

Jedini koji je preživio tragediju je Frane Lučić, koji i danas nosi teške posljedice zbog zadobivenih opeklina.

Dražen Slavica, županijski vatrogasni zapovjednik, bio je jedini optužen za kornatsku tragediju, ali je nakon višegodišnjeg suđenja oslobođen.

"I nakon 16 godina, nosimo istu veliku bol i tugu kada se prisjetimo prerano izgubljenih 12 života hrabrih hrvatskih vatrogasaca", poručio je u srijedu ministar obrane Mario Banožić.

Poginuli vatrogasci, istaknuo je, predano i časno obavljali su svoju zadaću i zato sjećanje na njih nikada ne smije izblijediti.

"Hrvatska će zauvijek čuvati uspomenu na najveću tragediju koja je pogodila hrvatsko vatrogastvo i hrvatsku državu nakon Domovinskoga rata“, poručio je Banožić, a priopćilo Ministarstvo obrane.
