Očekivanja su uvijek ista. Cilj reprezentacije je kvalificirati se na veliko natjecanje, a onda kad se dođe tamo, tad je cilj ostvariti najbolji mogući rezultat na njemu. Reprezentacija je u procesu koji smo počeli od 2017., sad cure imaju i životnog i igračkog iskustva sve više, igraju vani u klubovima, neke u najjačim, u Rumunjskoj, koja je za Bundesliga ženskog rukometa, i zbog toga će, vjerujem, hrvatska ženska reprezentacija biti i dalje lijepa priča - istaknuo je naš izbornik Nenad Šoštarić, koji se nakon utakmice u Cazinu u subotu, 14. listopada, protiv BiH oprašta od klupe reprezentacije, te preuzima vođenje rukometaša PPD Zagreb. Naslijedit će ga Vladimir Canjuga.

Prvi zadatak u kvalifikacijama za Europsko prvenstvo 2024. godine hrvatske rukometašice su odradile uspješno. U Karlovcu su svladale Grčku s 32:22 (17:8). Nisu bile komptetne. Nedostajala je zbog ozljede kapetanica Katarina Ježić, te je tu časnu ulogu preuzela Tea Pijević, vratarka iz Stabline pokraj Ploča. 

- Prvi put sam kapetanica reprezentacije - potvrdila je 31-godišnja Pijević.

Zbog ozljede izostala je i Valentina Blažević, koja je prvi srednji vanjski naše reprezentacije, a koja je u karijeri igrala između ostalih i za Dalmatinku iz Ploča, klub u kojem je ponikla Pijević. Dubrovkinja Kristina Prkačin je imala ozljedu arkade, te se nije našla u sastavu protiv Grčke.

BRONCA

Tea Pijević je vratarka rumunjskog sastava SCM Gloria Buzau, dok je Kristina Prkačin lijevi vanjski zagrebačke Lokomotive, aktualnih prvakinja Hrvatske. Obje su već nekoliko godinama u reprezentaciji. Mogu se pohvaliti kako su vlasnice bronce s EP-a 2020. u Danskoj

- Ova pobjeda je pokazatelj kako imamo danas veću širinu, a to je odlična stvar - naglasio je Šoštarić, te dodao: Trebalo je vratiti osjećaj zajedništva jer nismo šest mjeseci bili skupa. Cilj je bio pobijediti, te sa što većom razlikom, ali i da svi igraju. Grčka je slabija u obrani, nego u napadu. Korektno smo odigrali utakmicu.

- Nismo ušle dobro u utakmicu, igrale smo pasivnu 6-0 obranu, plitko, ali najažnije smo ostvarile, osvojile dva boda i sve smo igrale. Lijepo su nas ugostili u Karlovcu. Drago mi je da ponovo punimo dvorane. Puno nam znači podrška navijača. Nadam se kako će tako biti i ubuduće, a na nama je da uradimo sve kako ih ne bi razočarali - rekla je nakon pobjede protiv Grčke Pijević, koja je imala pet obrana.

KAKO NA EP?

U skupini je još Rumunjska protiv koje naše igraju prvo u gostima 28. veljače, a zatim kod kuće 2. ožujka. U trećem, posljednjem ‘krugu’, prvo 3. travnja idu u Grčku, a u zadnjem kolu 7. travnja dočekuju Bosnu i Hercegovinu.    

Najbolje dvije reprezentacije iz svake od osam kvalifikacijskih skupina te još četiri najbolje trećeplasirane ekipe izborit će plasman na završni turnir koji će se održati od 28. studenog do 15. prosinca 2024. u Austriji, Mađarskoj i Švicarskoj.

Hrvatska je tako pobjedom počela svoj 16. ciklus kvalifikacija za Europsko prvenstvo. Do sada je dvanaest puta bila uspješna, a na EP-ima najveći uspjeh ostvarila je 2020. godine kad se prvi put i do danas jedini put popela na pobjedničko postolje osvojivši u Danskoj broncu.

Reprezentacija je u procesu koji smo počeli od 2017., sad cure imaju i životnog i igračkog iskustva sve više, igraju vani u klubovima, neke u najjačim, u Rumunjskoj, koja je za Bundesliga ženskog rukometa, i zbog toga će, vjerujem, hrvatska ženska reprezentacija biti i dalje lijepa priča - istaknuo je naš izbornik Nenad Šoštarić, koji se nakon utakmice u Cazinu u subotu, 14. listopada, protiv BiH oprašta od klupe reprezentacije, te preuzima vođenje rukometaša PPD Zagreb. Naslijedit će ga Vladimir Canjuga.

Prvi zadatak u kvalifikacijama za Europsko prvenstvo 2024. godine hrvatske rukometašice su odradile uspješno. U Karlovcu su svladale Grčku s 32:22 (17:8). Nisu bile komptetne. Nedostajala je zbog ozljede kapetanica Katarina Ježić, te je tu časnu ulogu preuzela Tea Pijević, vratarka iz Stabline pokraj Ploča. 

- Prvi put sam kapetanica reprezentacije - potvrdila je 31-godišnja Pijević.

Zbog ozljede izostala je i Valentina Blažević, koja je prvi srednji vanjski naše reprezentacije, a koja je u karijeri igrala između ostalih i za Dalmatinku iz Ploča, klub u kojem je ponikla Pijević. Dubrovkinja Kristina Prkačin je imala ozljedu arkade, te se nije našla u sastavu protiv Grčke.

BRONCA

Tea Pijević je vratarka rumunjskog sastava SCM Gloria Buzau, dok je Kristina Prkačin lijevi vanjski zagrebačke Lokomotive, aktualnih prvakinja Hrvatske. Obje su već nekoliko godinama u reprezentaciji. Mogu se pohvaliti kako su vlasnice bronce s EP-a 2020. u Danskoj

- Ova pobjeda je pokazatelj kako imamo danas veću širinu, a to je odlična stvar - naglasio je Šoštarić, te dodao: Trebalo je vratiti osjećaj zajedništva jer nismo šest mjeseci bili skupa. Cilj je bio pobijediti, te sa što većom razlikom, ali i da svi igraju. Grčka je slabija u obrani, nego u napadu. Korektno smo odigrali utakmicu.

- Nismo ušle dobro u utakmicu, igrale smo pasivnu 6-0 obranu, plitko, ali najažnije smo ostvarile, osvojile dva boda i sve smo igrale. Lijepo su nas ugostili u Karlovcu. Drago mi je da ponovo punimo dvorane. Puno nam znači podrška navijača. Nadam se kako će tako biti i ubuduće, a na nama je da uradimo sve kako ih ne bi razočarali - rekla je nakon pobjede protiv Grčke Pijević, koja je imala pet obrana.

KAKO NA EP?

U skupini je još Rumunjska protiv koje naše igraju prvo u gostima 28. veljače, a zatim kod kuće 2. ožujka. U trećem, posljednjem ‘krugu’, prvo 3. travnja idu u Grčku, a u zadnjem kolu 7. travnja dočekuju Bosnu i Hercegovinu.    

Najbolje dvije reprezentacije iz svake od osam kvalifikacijskih skupina te još četiri najbolje trećeplasirane ekipe izborit će plasman na završni turnir koji će se održati od 28. studenog do 15. prosinca 2024. u Austriji, Mađarskoj i Švicarskoj.

Hrvatska je tako pobjedom počela svoj 16. ciklus kvalifikacija za Europsko prvenstvo. Do sada je dvanaest puta bila uspješna, a na EP-ima najveći uspjeh ostvarila je 2020. godine kad se prvi put i do danas jedini put popela na pobjedničko postolje osvojivši u Danskoj broncu.
