Gubili smo sa 16:10 u 35. minuti, u idućih deset minuta došli na samo pogodak zaostatka (16:17), izjednačili u 54. minuti na 21:21 nakon što je Portugal imao plus dva (21:19). Kad su Portugalci pred kraj riskirali, zaigrali sa sedam na šest, Domagoj Duvnjak je pogodio na prazan gol za 24:23, a nakon izjednačenja, Luka Cindrić je u zadnjoj minuti bio strijelac za konačnih 25:24.

Vizu za Olimpijske igre nismo (još) izborili jer smo izgubili od Francuske na startu s 30:26. Za prolaz trebamo dobiti Tunis, te čekati da Portugal ne pobijedi Francusku jer bi se mogao zatvoriti krug, koji bi nas mogao ostaviti bez puta na najveće natjecanje. Portugal ne smije dobiti Francusku s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ili 7 razlike. Može s više od sedam, a tad ispada Francuska. 

- Očito ne znamo bez drame. Emocije još “lete” posvuda, treba ih pohvatati. Ispričavam se navijačima, ali navikli su od nas na ovakve utakmice. Važnost utakmice učinila je svoje pa smo u prvom poluvremenu promašili dosta kontri i zicera. Nismo imali ni vanjski šut, možda smo dugo čekali s Mamićem. U drugom dijelu smo se povukli u pliću varijantu 6-0, što nam je donijelo lagane golove iz tranzicije. Mučili smo se, ali kad je obrana prava onda se možeš iščupati. Samo karakterna momčad može okrenuti ovakvu utakmicu - rekao je Hrvoje Horvat, naš izbornik.

Metkovac Ivan Čupić bio je jedini raspoložen u našim redovima od početka do kraja utakmice, najbolji i u utakmici protiv Francuza. Tad je postigao 10 pogodaka uz samo jedan promašen šut, a sad protiv Portugalaca je pogodio svih devet šuteva.

- Imali smo dobre trenutke. Isprovocirali smo da ovaj put pobjeda ode na našu stranu - rekao je Čupić. Hoće li 35-godišnji Metkovac još jednom, treći put u nizu nastupiti na Olimpijskim igrama, te hoće li Igre u Sydneyju 2000. godine ostati i dalje jedine na kojima nisu igrali hrvatski rukometaši?

Hrvatska i Tunis igraju u nedjelju, 14. ožujka, od 17.30 sati, a Francuska i Portugal od 20 sati. Utakmice iz Montpelliera izravno prenosi RTL-u.

Gubili smo sa 16:10 u 35. minuti, u idućih deset minuta došli na samo pogodak zaostatka (16:17), izjednačili u 54. minuti na 21:21 nakon što je Portugal imao plus dva (21:19). Kad su Portugalci pred kraj riskirali, zaigrali sa sedam na šest, Domagoj Duvnjak je pogodio na prazan gol za 24:23, a nakon izjednačenja, Luka Cindrić je u zadnjoj minuti bio strijelac za konačnih 25:24.

Vizu za Olimpijske igre nismo (još) izborili jer smo izgubili od Francuske na startu s 30:26. Za prolaz trebamo dobiti Tunis, te čekati da Portugal ne pobijedi Francusku jer bi se mogao zatvoriti krug, koji bi nas mogao ostaviti bez puta na najveće natjecanje. Portugal ne smije dobiti Francusku s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ili 7 razlike. Može s više od sedam, a tad ispada Francuska. 

- Očito ne znamo bez drame. Emocije još “lete” posvuda, treba ih pohvatati. Ispričavam se navijačima, ali navikli su od nas na ovakve utakmice. Važnost utakmice učinila je svoje pa smo u prvom poluvremenu promašili dosta kontri i zicera. Nismo imali ni vanjski šut, možda smo dugo čekali s Mamićem. U drugom dijelu smo se povukli u pliću varijantu 6-0, što nam je donijelo lagane golove iz tranzicije. Mučili smo se, ali kad je obrana prava onda se možeš iščupati. Samo karakterna momčad može okrenuti ovakvu utakmicu - rekao je Hrvoje Horvat, naš izbornik.

Metkovac Ivan Čupić bio je jedini raspoložen u našim redovima od početka do kraja utakmice, najbolji i u utakmici protiv Francuza. Tad je postigao 10 pogodaka uz samo jedan promašen šut, a sad protiv Portugalaca je pogodio svih devet šuteva.

- Imali smo dobre trenutke. Isprovocirali smo da ovaj put pobjeda ode na našu stranu - rekao je Čupić. Hoće li 35-godišnji Metkovac još jednom, treći put u nizu nastupiti na Olimpijskim igrama, te hoće li Igre u Sydneyju 2000. godine ostati i dalje jedine na kojima nisu igrali hrvatski rukometaši?

Hrvatska i Tunis igraju u nedjelju, 14. ožujka, od 17.30 sati, a Francuska i Portugal od 20 sati. Utakmice iz Montpelliera izravno prenosi RTL-u.

Gubili smo sa 16:10 u 35. minuti, u idućih deset minuta došli na samo pogodak zaostatka (16:17), izjednačili u 54. minuti na 21:21 nakon što je Portugal imao plus dva (21:19). Kad su Portugalci pred kraj riskirali, zaigrali sa sedam na šest, Domagoj Duvnjak je pogodio na prazan gol za 24:23, a nakon izjednačenja, Luka Cindrić je u zadnjoj minuti bio strijelac za konačnih 25:24.

Vizu za Olimpijske igre nismo (još) izborili jer smo izgubili od Francuske na startu s 30:26. Za prolaz trebamo dobiti Tunis, te čekati da Portugal ne pobijedi Francusku jer bi se mogao zatvoriti krug, koji bi nas mogao ostaviti bez puta na najveće natjecanje. Portugal ne smije dobiti Francusku s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ili 7 razlike. Može s više od sedam, a tad ispada Francuska. 

- Očito ne znamo bez drame. Emocije još “lete” posvuda, treba ih pohvatati. Ispričavam se navijačima, ali navikli su od nas na ovakve utakmice. Važnost utakmice učinila je svoje pa smo u prvom poluvremenu promašili dosta kontri i zicera. Nismo imali ni vanjski šut, možda smo dugo čekali s Mamićem. U drugom dijelu smo se povukli u pliću varijantu 6-0, što nam je donijelo lagane golove iz tranzicije. Mučili smo se, ali kad je obrana prava onda se možeš iščupati. Samo karakterna momčad može okrenuti ovakvu utakmicu - rekao je Hrvoje Horvat, naš izbornik.

Metkovac Ivan Čupić bio je jedini raspoložen u našim redovima od početka do kraja utakmice, najbolji i u utakmici protiv Francuza. Tad je postigao 10 pogodaka uz samo jedan promašen šut, a sad protiv Portugalaca je pogodio svih devet šuteva.

- Imali smo dobre trenutke. Isprovocirali smo da ovaj put pobjeda ode na našu stranu - rekao je Čupić. Hoće li 35-godišnji Metkovac još jednom, treći put u nizu nastupiti na Olimpijskim igrama, te hoće li Igre u Sydneyju 2000. godine ostati i dalje jedine na kojima nisu igrali hrvatski rukometaši?

Hrvatska i Tunis igraju u nedjelju, 14. ožujka, od 17.30 sati, a Francuska i Portugal od 20 sati. Utakmice iz Montpelliera izravno prenosi RTL-u.
