Hrvatski Crveni križ, najveća humanitarna organizacija u Republici Hrvatskoj, ove godine obilježava tri važne obljetnice: 145 godina postojanja i djelovanja na tlu današnje RH, 70 godina dobrovoljnog davanja krvi u Hrvatskoj (u organizaciji Crvenog križa) i 30 godina od priznanja Hrvatskog Crvenog križa kao samostalnog društva. Obljetnice će biti obilježene 25. listopada u Zadru, gradu u kojemu je Hrvatski Crveni križ i osnovan.

U sklopu obilježavanja ovih obljetnica, na Poljani pape Aleksandra III bit će otkrivena spomen ploča osnivačici Crvenog križa u Zadru grofici Ameliji Lantana, rođenoj Borelli.

Grofica Lantana Borelli rođena je 22. siječnja 1845. godine, a Crveni križ u Zadru utemeljen je 22. listopada 1878. kao prva organizacija takve vrste u Hrvatskoj. Tada je osnovana Domoljubna gospojinska zadruga dalmatinska (Società patriotica dalmata di signore per soccorsi), a njena prva podpredsjednica i osnivačica bila je Amalia Lantana. Društvo je stvoreno usljed rata u Bosni 1878. godine i skrbi o ranjenim vojnicima, te pomoći invalidima, udovicama i civilnim stradalnicima. Ovo društvo zadarskih žena utemeljeno je prema zaključcima međunarodne konferencije u Ženevi na kojoj je osnovana međunarodna organizacija Crvenog križa i priznato je kao prva organizacija Crvenog križa na Balkanu.

Obitelj Lantana je do 2. Svjetskog rata živjela u svom ljetnikovcu na Ugljanu, a grofica Amelia se dugo godina bavila humanitarnim radom zbog čega je 1905. godine dobila Elizabetin orden 2. reda., odlikovanje tadašnjeg cara Franje Josipa I. Amelia Lantana (Borelli) je umrla 1929. godine.

Hrvatski Crveni križ, najveća humanitarna organizacija u Republici Hrvatskoj, ove godine obilježava tri važne obljetnice: 145 godina postojanja i djelovanja na tlu današnje RH, 70 godina dobrovoljnog davanja krvi u Hrvatskoj (u organizaciji Crvenog križa) i 30 godina od priznanja Hrvatskog Crvenog križa kao samostalnog društva. Obljetnice će biti obilježene 25. listopada u Zadru, gradu u kojemu je Hrvatski Crveni križ i osnovan.

U sklopu obilježavanja ovih obljetnica, na Poljani pape Aleksandra III bit će otkrivena spomen ploča osnivačici Crvenog križa u Zadru grofici Ameliji Lantana, rođenoj Borelli.

Grofica Lantana Borelli rođena je 22. siječnja 1845. godine, a Crveni križ u Zadru utemeljen je 22. listopada 1878. kao prva organizacija takve vrste u Hrvatskoj. Tada je osnovana Domoljubna gospojinska zadruga dalmatinska (Società patriotica dalmata di signore per soccorsi), a njena prva podpredsjednica i osnivačica bila je Amalia Lantana. Društvo je stvoreno usljed rata u Bosni 1878. godine i skrbi o ranjenim vojnicima, te pomoći invalidima, udovicama i civilnim stradalnicima. Ovo društvo zadarskih žena utemeljeno je prema zaključcima međunarodne konferencije u Ženevi na kojoj je osnovana međunarodna organizacija Crvenog križa i priznato je kao prva organizacija Crvenog križa na Balkanu.

Obitelj Lantana je do 2. Svjetskog rata živjela u svom ljetnikovcu na Ugljanu, a grofica Amelia se dugo godina bavila humanitarnim radom zbog čega je 1905. godine dobila Elizabetin orden 2. reda., odlikovanje tadašnjeg cara Franje Josipa I. Amelia Lantana (Borelli) je umrla 1929. godine.

Hrvatski Crveni križ, najveća humanitarna organizacija u Republici Hrvatskoj, ove godine obilježava tri važne obljetnice: 145 godina postojanja i djelovanja na tlu današnje RH, 70 godina dobrovoljnog davanja krvi u Hrvatskoj (u organizaciji Crvenog križa) i 30 godina od priznanja Hrvatskog Crvenog križa kao samostalnog društva. Obljetnice će biti obilježene 25. listopada u Zadru, gradu u kojemu je Hrvatski Crveni križ i osnovan.

U sklopu obilježavanja ovih obljetnica, na Poljani pape Aleksandra III bit će otkrivena spomen ploča osnivačici Crvenog križa u Zadru grofici Ameliji Lantana, rođenoj Borelli.

Grofica Lantana Borelli rođena je 22. siječnja 1845. godine, a Crveni križ u Zadru utemeljen je 22. listopada 1878. kao prva organizacija takve vrste u Hrvatskoj. Tada je osnovana Domoljubna gospojinska zadruga dalmatinska (Società patriotica dalmata di signore per soccorsi), a njena prva podpredsjednica i osnivačica bila je Amalia Lantana. Društvo je stvoreno usljed rata u Bosni 1878. godine i skrbi o ranjenim vojnicima, te pomoći invalidima, udovicama i civilnim stradalnicima. Ovo društvo zadarskih žena utemeljeno je prema zaključcima međunarodne konferencije u Ženevi na kojoj je osnovana međunarodna organizacija Crvenog križa i priznato je kao prva organizacija Crvenog križa na Balkanu.
