- Bilo je to najtežih mjesec dana u mom životu, noćna mora koju bih, da mogu, najradije zaboravio, ali to je nemoguće - ispričao je 71-godišnji umirovljenik Ivan Kikić iz Đakova za Glas Slavonije.

Dodaje da je priliku za nastavak života dobio samo zahvaljujući "liječnicima i sestrama Kliničkog bolničkog centra Osijek, predvođenima doktorom Damirom Mihićem, i Božjom voljom".

Njegova je agonija počela u studenom 2020. godine, nakon što je prvi val pandemije zamijenio drugi, a cjepivo još nije bilo na vidiku.

- Nekoliko dana imao sam temperaturu između 37 i 39 stupnjeva, nisam kašljao, ali sam se osjećao slabo. Sve je to bilo nepoznato i priznajem da sam se pomalo pribojavao. Znao sam samo da ne smijem na respirator, jer to znači kraj, posebno za nas starije koji smo imali i druge zdravstvene probleme - prisjeća se Kikić te napominje kako je šest godina ranije preživio infarkt, nakon čega mu je dijagnosticiran povišeni šećer.

Kako kaže, tada bi sve dao samo da ne mora u bolnicu. Tri dana je ležao kod kuće i pio Sumamed, koji mu je propisala liječnica. Međutim, njegovo je stanje postajalo sve gore te je 4. studenog završio je u osječkoj bolnici s dijagnozom upale pluća, i to na oba plućna krila. Testiranje je ubrzo pokazalo da je pozitivan na Covid.

U bolnicu je stigao svojim vozilom i na nogama pa, kako kaže, nije ni slutio što ga čeka. Četiri dana kasnije priključen je na respirator, što je scenarij kojeg se od početka pribojavao.

To mu je ujedno posljednje sjećanje. Probudio se nakon 240 sati provedenih na respiratoru.

- Nisam znao koliko sam dugo bio u komi, rekli su mi poslije da je to bilo deset dana, i da je tada bio 18. studenoga. Bio sam biljka, nisam mogao ništa samostalno raditi. Morali su me hraniti jer nisam mogao ruku pomaknuti do usta, pio sam na slamku... Vidio sam druge pacijente kako samo nepomično leže i sjetio se pacijenta s kojim sam bio dovezen u Respiracijski centar. Pitao sam sestru gdje je on i kako je. Rekla je da se oporavio i otišao kući. Poslije sam tek saznao da je umro nakon tri dana na respiratoru, ali da mi to nisu željeli reći kako se ne bih uzrujao - ispričao je Kikić.

Srećom, bio je okružen stručnim bolničkim osobljem u koje je imao povjerenja, a posebno je pohvalio doktora Mihića.

- Bio je vrlo zainteresiran i angažiran za svakog pacijenta, vidjelo se da daje sve od sebe. Svi s odjela zaista su se jako trudili da nam pomognu. Oporavak je išao sporo jer su posljedice koronavirusa bile strašne. Teško sam disao, brzo se umarao, a imao sam i podljeve na lijevoj nozi - opisao je za Glas Slavonije đakovački umirovljenik, koji je osječki KBC napustio 3. prosinca i oporavak nastavio kod kuće.

- Bilo je to najtežih mjesec dana u mom životu, noćna mora koju bih, da mogu, najradije zaboravio, ali to je nemoguće - ispričao je 71-godišnji umirovljenik Ivan Kikić iz Đakova za Glas Slavonije.

Dodaje da je priliku za nastavak života dobio samo zahvaljujući "liječnicima i sestrama Kliničkog bolničkog centra Osijek, predvođenima doktorom Damirom Mihićem, i Božjom voljom".

Njegova je agonija počela u studenom 2020. godine, nakon što je prvi val pandemije zamijenio drugi, a cjepivo još nije bilo na vidiku.

- Nekoliko dana imao sam temperaturu između 37 i 39 stupnjeva, nisam kašljao, ali sam se osjećao slabo. Sve je to bilo nepoznato i priznajem da sam se pomalo pribojavao. Znao sam samo da ne smijem na respirator, jer to znači kraj, posebno za nas starije koji smo imali i druge zdravstvene probleme - prisjeća se Kikić te napominje kako je šest godina ranije preživio infarkt, nakon čega mu je dijagnosticiran povišeni šećer.

Kako kaže, tada bi sve dao samo da ne mora u bolnicu. Tri dana je ležao kod kuće i pio Sumamed, koji mu je propisala liječnica. Međutim, njegovo je stanje postajalo sve gore te je 4. studenog završio je u osječkoj bolnici s dijagnozom upale pluća, i to na oba plućna krila. Testiranje je ubrzo pokazalo da je pozitivan na Covid.

U bolnicu je stigao svojim vozilom i na nogama pa, kako kaže, nije ni slutio što ga čeka. Četiri dana kasnije priključen je na respirator, što je scenarij kojeg se od početka pribojavao.

To mu je ujedno posljednje sjećanje. Probudio se nakon 240 sati provedenih na respiratoru.

- Nisam znao koliko sam dugo bio u komi, rekli su mi poslije da je to bilo deset dana, i da je tada bio 18. studenoga. Bio sam biljka, nisam mogao ništa samostalno raditi. Morali su me hraniti jer nisam mogao ruku pomaknuti do usta, pio sam na slamku... Vidio sam druge pacijente kako samo nepomično leže i sjetio se pacijenta s kojim sam bio dovezen u Respiracijski centar. Pitao sam sestru gdje je on i kako je. Rekla je da se oporavio i otišao kući. Poslije sam tek saznao da je umro nakon tri dana na respiratoru, ali da mi to nisu željeli reći kako se ne bih uzrujao - ispričao je Kikić.

Srećom, bio je okružen stručnim bolničkim osobljem u koje je imao povjerenja, a posebno je pohvalio doktora Mihića.

- Bio je vrlo zainteresiran i angažiran za svakog pacijenta, vidjelo se da daje sve od sebe. Svi s odjela zaista su se jako trudili da nam pomognu. Oporavak je išao sporo jer su posljedice koronavirusa bile strašne. Teško sam disao, brzo se umarao, a imao sam i podljeve na lijevoj nozi - opisao je za Glas Slavonije đakovački umirovljenik, koji je osječki KBC napustio 3. prosinca i oporavak nastavio kod kuće.

Slavonac koji je jedva preživio Covid i danas osjeća ozbiljne posljedice: ‘Deset dana sam bio u komi. Bio sam biljka, nisam mogao micati ruke...‘

- Bilo je to najtežih mjesec dana u mom životu, noćna mora koju bih, da mogu, najradije zaboravio, ali to je nemoguće - ispričao je 71-godišnji umirovljenik Ivan Kikić iz Đakova za Glas Slavonije.

Dodaje da je priliku za nastavak života dobio samo zahvaljujući "liječnicima i sestrama Kliničkog bolničkog centra Osijek, predvođenima doktorom Damirom Mihićem, i Božjom voljom".

Njegova je agonija počela u studenom 2020. godine, nakon što je prvi val pandemije zamijenio drugi, a cjepivo još nije bilo na vidiku.

- Nekoliko dana imao sam temperaturu između 37 i 39 stupnjeva, nisam kašljao, ali sam se osjećao slabo. Sve je to bilo nepoznato i priznajem da sam se pomalo pribojavao. Znao sam samo da ne smijem na respirator, jer to znači kraj, posebno za nas starije koji smo imali i druge zdravstvene probleme - prisjeća se Kikić te napominje kako je šest godina ranije preživio infarkt, nakon čega mu je dijagnosticiran povišeni šećer.

Kako kaže, tada bi sve dao samo da ne mora u bolnicu. Tri dana je ležao kod kuće i pio Sumamed, koji mu je propisala liječnica. Međutim, njegovo je stanje postajalo sve gore te je 4. studenog završio je u osječkoj bolnici s dijagnozom upale pluća, i to na oba plućna krila. Testiranje je ubrzo pokazalo da je pozitivan na Covid.

U bolnicu je stigao svojim vozilom i na nogama pa, kako kaže, nije ni slutio što ga čeka. Četiri dana kasnije priključen je na respirator, što je scenarij kojeg se od početka pribojavao.

To mu je ujedno posljednje sjećanje. Probudio se nakon 240 sati provedenih na respiratoru.

- Nisam znao koliko sam dugo bio u komi, rekli su mi poslije da je to bilo deset dana, i da je tada bio 18. studenoga. Bio sam biljka, nisam mogao ništa samostalno raditi. Morali su me hraniti jer nisam mogao ruku pomaknuti do usta, pio sam na slamku... Vidio sam druge pacijente kako samo nepomično leže i sjetio se pacijenta s kojim sam bio dovezen u Respiracijski centar. Pitao sam sestru gdje je on i kako je. Rekla je da se oporavio i otišao kući. Poslije sam tek saznao da je umro nakon tri dana na respiratoru, ali da mi to nisu željeli reći kako se ne bih uzrujao - ispričao je Kikić.

Srećom, bio je okružen stručnim bolničkim osobljem u koje je imao povjerenja, a posebno je pohvalio doktora Mihića.

- Bio je vrlo zainteresiran i angažiran za svakog pacijenta, vidjelo se da daje sve od sebe. Svi s odjela zaista su se jako trudili da nam pomognu. Oporavak je išao sporo jer su posljedice koronavirusa bile strašne. Teško sam disao, brzo se umarao, a imao sam i podljeve na lijevoj nozi - opisao je za Glas Slavonije đakovački umirovljenik, koji je osječki KBC napustio 3. prosinca i oporavak nastavio kod kuće.
