Omikron soj koronavirusa koji je zaraznošću pokorio Dalmaciju ima ponešto drukčije simptome od svih prethodnih mutacija, a Američki centar za kontrolu i prevenciju bolesti (CDC) upozorio je također da osobe koje primijete blijedu, sivu ili plavičasta boju kože, usana ili noktiju, na to obrate pozornost jer ti simptomi mogu ukazivati na nizak nivo kisika u krvi.

Kod omikrona zaraženi najčešće prijavljuju grlobolju i grebanje u grlu, glavobolju, začepljenost sinusa, noćno znojenje, curenje nosa i kihanje što su simptomi koji se uglavnom povezuju s prehladom ili gripom. Manja je vjerojatnost u odnosu na prijašnje varijante da će omikron uzrokovati gubitak okusa i mirisa.

Upravo grlobolja navodi se kao prvi simptom koji bi vas mogao navesti da posumnjate u moguću zarazu omikronom.

Šibenčanka Gordana B., u čijoj su se obitelji svi zarazili koronavirusom za Novu Godinu, kaže nam kako su im simptomi počeli bolovima u grlu.

"Prvo je kćerka došla iz Splita s grloboljom, mislili smo da je prehlada dok joj nije skočila temperatura. Onda je i mene počelo grebati grlo, pa supruga, a na koncu i svekra. Trajalo je to dva, tri dana. Drugi simptomi nisu nam bili isti, mene je najviše uhvatila malaksalost i bol u donjem dijelu leđa, a supruga i kći sinusi i glavobolja - kaže nam Gordana čija je obitelj bila pozitivna na PCR testu.

"Ne bih uopće rekla da su ovo slabiji simptomi, svi smo preležali nekoliko dana. Također smo svi cijepljeni, ne želim ni misliti kako bi bilo da nismo, kaže nam.

Američki liječnik dr. Jorge Moreno i njegove kolege pratili su pacijente oboljele od COVID-a u ambulanti u Connecticutu i zaključili kako je većina njih koja se zarazila omikron varijantom prijavila iste simptome: suho, upaljeno grlo koje je uzrokovalo oštru bol prilikom gutanja i koje se pojavilo prije većine drugih simptoma bolesti COVID-19.

"To je vrlo istaknut simptom", napomenuo je Jorge Moreno, docent medicine na Yale School of Medicine, za Bussines Insider objašnjavajući kako to nije bilo tek malo škakljanje u grlu, nego nešto oštrija bol.

I liječnici iz Norveške, Južne Afrike i Velike Britanije također su identificirali upalu ili grebanje grla kao prvi prepoznatljiv simptom omikrona.

Isto tako i Ryan Noach, izvršni direktor Discovery Healtha, najvećeg privatnog zdravstvenog osiguravatelja u Južnoj Africi, izjavio je kako pacijenti oboljeli od omikron mutacije najprije prijavljuju grebanje u grlu, a zatim začepljenost nosa, suhi kašalj i bolove u tijelu.

Prema iskustvu američkog liječnika dr. Morena grlobolja je često dolazila paralelno sa začepljenjem sinusa i glavoboljom.

Podaci iz aplikacije o covid simptomima, koju na pametnim telefonima koristi na stotine tisuća Britanaca također sugeriraju da je grlobolja rani simptom omikrona.

Glavni istraživač ove platforme Tim Spector, rekao je da je 57 posto ljudi sa omikronom prijavilo upalu grla.

Također analiza božićne zabave u Norveškoj otkrila je kako je kod 72 posto oboljelih na zabavi prijavilo bolove u grlu koji su trajali u prosjeku tri dana. Većina zaraženih bila je  cijepljena je s dvije doze mRNA cjepiva.

Preliminarna studija koju je prošli tjedan objavio tim američkih znanstvenika otkrila kako je virusno opterećenje izazvanom omikronom doseže vrhunac u slini jedan do dva dana prije nego što je doseglo vrhunac u brisevima nosa, što može objasniti zašto bi dodavanje brisa grla brzom testu, kod omikrona moglo povećati njegovu točnost.

Omikron soj koronavirusa koji je zaraznošću pokorio Dalmaciju ima ponešto drukčije simptome od svih prethodnih mutacija, a Američki centar za kontrolu i prevenciju bolesti (CDC) upozorio je također da osobe koje primijete blijedu, sivu ili plavičasta boju kože, usana ili noktiju, na to obrate pozornost jer ti simptomi mogu ukazivati na nizak nivo kisika u krvi.

Kod omikrona zaraženi najčešće prijavljuju grlobolju i grebanje u grlu, glavobolju, začepljenost sinusa, noćno znojenje, curenje nosa i kihanje što su simptomi koji se uglavnom povezuju s prehladom ili gripom. Manja je vjerojatnost u odnosu na prijašnje varijante da će omikron uzrokovati gubitak okusa i mirisa.

Upravo grlobolja navodi se kao prvi simptom koji bi vas mogao navesti da posumnjate u moguću zarazu omikronom.

Šibenčanka Gordana B., u čijoj su se obitelji svi zarazili koronavirusom za Novu Godinu, kaže nam kako su im simptomi počeli bolovima u grlu.

"Prvo je kćerka došla iz Splita s grloboljom, mislili smo da je prehlada dok joj nije skočila temperatura. Onda je i mene počelo grebati grlo, pa supruga, a na koncu i svekra. Trajalo je to dva, tri dana. Drugi simptomi nisu nam bili isti, mene je najviše uhvatila malaksalost i bol u donjem dijelu leđa, a supruga i kći sinusi i glavobolja - kaže nam Gordana čija je obitelj bila pozitivna na PCR testu.

"Ne bih uopće rekla da su ovo slabiji simptomi, svi smo preležali nekoliko dana. Također smo svi cijepljeni, ne želim ni misliti kako bi bilo da nismo, kaže nam.

Američki liječnik dr. Jorge Moreno i njegove kolege pratili su pacijente oboljele od COVID-a u ambulanti u Connecticutu i zaključili kako je većina njih koja se zarazila omikron varijantom prijavila iste simptome: suho, upaljeno grlo koje je uzrokovalo oštru bol prilikom gutanja i koje se pojavilo prije većine drugih simptoma bolesti COVID-19.

"To je vrlo istaknut simptom", napomenuo je Jorge Moreno, docent medicine na Yale School of Medicine, za Bussines Insider objašnjavajući kako to nije bilo tek malo škakljanje u grlu, nego nešto oštrija bol.

I liječnici iz Norveške, Južne Afrike i Velike Britanije također su identificirali upalu ili grebanje grla kao prvi prepoznatljiv simptom omikrona.

Isto tako i Ryan Noach, izvršni direktor Discovery Healtha, najvećeg privatnog zdravstvenog osiguravatelja u Južnoj Africi, izjavio je kako pacijenti oboljeli od omikron mutacije najprije prijavljuju grebanje u grlu, a zatim začepljenost nosa, suhi kašalj i bolove u tijelu.

Prema iskustvu američkog liječnika dr. Morena grlobolja je često dolazila paralelno sa začepljenjem sinusa i glavoboljom.

Podaci iz aplikacije o covid simptomima, koju na pametnim telefonima koristi na stotine tisuća Britanaca također sugeriraju da je grlobolja rani simptom omikrona.

Glavni istraživač ove platforme Tim Spector, rekao je da je 57 posto ljudi sa omikronom prijavilo upalu grla.

Također analiza božićne zabave u Norveškoj otkrila je kako je kod 72 posto oboljelih na zabavi prijavilo bolove u grlu koji su trajali u prosjeku tri dana. Većina zaraženih bila je  cijepljena je s dvije doze mRNA cjepiva.

Preliminarna studija koju je prošli tjedan objavio tim američkih znanstvenika otkrila kako je virusno opterećenje izazvanom omikronom doseže vrhunac u slini jedan do dva dana prije nego što je doseglo vrhunac u brisevima nosa, što može objasniti zašto bi dodavanje brisa grla brzom testu, kod omikrona moglo povećati njegovu točnost.
