U sklopu projekta rekonstrukcije Cesarićeve obale u Kninu otkriveni su ostatci povijesne kaldrme na dubini od oko dva metra, a nalaze se na trasi ceste između južnih gradskih vrata iz doba vladavine Mletačke republike i staroga Atlagića mosta.
Most je izgrađen u vrijeme turske prevlasti nad dalmatinskim zaleđem i bio je u funkciji sve do kraja 19. stoljeća kada je podignut prvi drveni most na mjestu današnjeg koji se nalazi na državnoj cesti Knin - Drniš.
- Ovo je vrlo značajan nalaz, a otkrili smo stari pristupni put prema južnom dijelu grada. Obluci i ploče polagane su u zemljani sloj u suho, bez upotrebe veziva, a takva vrsta tradicijskog popločenja naziva se kogula - ističe Marko Sinobad, glavni konzervator.
Kaldrma je pronađena tijekom nadzora radova na Ceasrićevoj obali koji je propisan posebnim konzervatorskim uvjetima zaštite kulturnog dobra.
- Kaldrmirani sloj ceste izrađen je od riječnih oblutaka, dok su bordure izvedene vertikalno postavljenim debelim kamenim pločama, radi se o tipičnom popločenju koje je karakteristično za primorske dalmatinske gradove - dodao je Sinobad, dok je stručni voditelj istraživanja i nadzora Miloš Biserko.

U sklopu projekta rekonstrukcije Cesarićeve obale u Kninu otkriveni su ostatci povijesne kaldrme na dubini od oko dva metra, a nalaze se na trasi ceste između južnih gradskih vrata iz doba vladavine Mletačke republike i staroga Atlagića mosta.
Most je izgrađen u vrijeme turske prevlasti nad dalmatinskim zaleđem i bio je u funkciji sve do kraja 19. stoljeća kada je podignut prvi drveni most na mjestu današnjeg koji se nalazi na državnoj cesti Knin - Drniš.
- Ovo je vrlo značajan nalaz, a otkrili smo stari pristupni put prema južnom dijelu grada. Obluci i ploče polagane su u zemljani sloj u suho, bez upotrebe veziva, a takva vrsta tradicijskog popločenja naziva se kogula - ističe Marko Sinobad, glavni konzervator.
Kaldrma je pronađena tijekom nadzora radova na Ceasrićevoj obali koji je propisan posebnim konzervatorskim uvjetima zaštite kulturnog dobra.
- Kaldrmirani sloj ceste izrađen je od riječnih oblutaka, dok su bordure izvedene vertikalno postavljenim debelim kamenim pločama, radi se o tipičnom popločenju koje je karakteristično za primorske dalmatinske gradove - dodao je Sinobad, dok je stručni voditelj istraživanja i nadzora Miloš Biserko.
