Elon Musk u četvrtak navečer zaključio je svoju 44 milijarde dolara vrijednu akviziciju Twittera, a prvi potez mu je bio otpuštanje najvišeg vodstva te društvene mreže.

Kako Reuters doznaje od ljudi upoznatih sa situacijom, Musk je otpustio glavnog izvršnog direktora Twittera Paraga Agrawala, glavnog financijskog direktora Neda Segala te šefa za pravna pitanja i politike Vijaya Gaddea.

Agrawal i Segal bili su u Twitterovom sjedištu u San Franciscu kada je dogovor sklopljen i ispraćeni su van, dodali su ti izvori. Twitter, Musk i otpušteni direktori nisu trenutno odgovorili na Reutersov upit za komentar.

Musk je dosadašnje čelnike optužio da su njega i investitore doveli u zabludu oko broja lažnih računa na platformi, kao i da mu nisu pružili jasne argumente oko toga kako ostvariti visoke ambicije koje ima s tom utjecajnom društvenom platformom.

Musk je rekao da na Twitteru želi poraziti "spam botove", učiniti javno dostupnima algoritme koji određuju kako će se sadržaj prezentirati korisnicima te spriječiti da platforma postane komora za mržnju i podjele.

Musk nije ponudio detalje o tome kako će sve to postići i tko će voditi tvrtku. Također je najavio i otpuštanja, čime približno 7.500 Twitterovih zaposlenika ostaje zabrinuto za svoju budućnost, piše Reuters.

Elon Musk ranije u četvrtak je rekao da želi da Twitter postane "najpoštovanija platforma za oglašavanje”, što se tumačilo kao pokušaj stjecanja povjerenja oglašivača uoči očekivane kupovine te društvene mreže, pri čemu je poručio i da tom akvizicijom želi "pomoći čovječanstvu".

Musk, suosnivač Twittera Jack Dorsey i drugi investitori ranije su sugerirali da žele udaljiti tu društvenu mrežu od reklama i prihode stjecati pretplatama i drugim sredstvima. Sam Musk jednom je napisao "da mrzi oglašavanje".

"Postoji mnogo nagađanja zašto sam kupio Twitter i što mislim o oglašavanju. Većina ih je pogrešna. U osnovi, Twitter želi biti najpoštovanija platforma za oglašavanje na svijetu koja osnažuje vaš brend i donosi rast tvrtkama”, napisao je Musk, najbogatiji čovjek na svijetu i izvršni direktor kompanije Tesla.

Inače, više od 90 posto prihoda Twittera u drugom kvartalu ove godine došlo je od oglašavanja.

Musk je u četvrtak rekao i da kako se na Twitteru "očito ne može pisati baš sve bez posljedica”, no da on želi da platforma bude "gostoljubiva za sve”.

Musk, koji se proglasio "apsolutistom slobodnog govora”, u svibnju je rekao da bi ukinuo zabranu pristupa Twitteru bivšem američkom predsjedniku Donaldu Trumpu koji je uklonjen s mreže u siječnju prošle godine zbog straha od poticanja nasilja nakon što su njegovi pobornici upali u vašingtonski Kapitol.

Kako navodi Reuters, Muskova akvizicija Twittera predstavlja vrhunac sage pune obrata, pri čemu se i sumnjalo hoće li taj multimilijarder uspjeti zaključiti posao.

Naime, Musk je u proljeće ponudio preuzimanje platforme za 54,20 dolara po dionici, procjenjujući je na 44 milijarde dolara. Upravni odbor društvene mreže, u početku vrlo nevoljko, na kraju je prihvatio ponudu.

Ali hiroviti poduzetnik jednostrano je odustao od ovog sporazuma u srpnju, a Twitter je pokrenuo pravni postupak kako bi ga prisilio da poštuje svoju obvezu.

Naposljetku, početkom listopada sud u američkoj saveznoj državi Delaware naredio je prekid tužbi Twittera protiv Elona Muska te mu dao vremena da financira svoje preuzimanje, a transakcija je tako morala biti zaključena do danas do 13 sati po hrvatskom vremenu

Elon Musk u četvrtak navečer zaključio je svoju 44 milijarde dolara vrijednu akviziciju Twittera, a prvi potez mu je bio otpuštanje najvišeg vodstva te društvene mreže.

Kako Reuters doznaje od ljudi upoznatih sa situacijom, Musk je otpustio glavnog izvršnog direktora Twittera Paraga Agrawala, glavnog financijskog direktora Neda Segala te šefa za pravna pitanja i politike Vijaya Gaddea.

Agrawal i Segal bili su u Twitterovom sjedištu u San Franciscu kada je dogovor sklopljen i ispraćeni su van, dodali su ti izvori. Twitter, Musk i otpušteni direktori nisu trenutno odgovorili na Reutersov upit za komentar.

Musk je dosadašnje čelnike optužio da su njega i investitore doveli u zabludu oko broja lažnih računa na platformi, kao i da mu nisu pružili jasne argumente oko toga kako ostvariti visoke ambicije koje ima s tom utjecajnom društvenom platformom.

Musk je rekao da na Twitteru želi poraziti "spam botove", učiniti javno dostupnima algoritme koji određuju kako će se sadržaj prezentirati korisnicima te spriječiti da platforma postane komora za mržnju i podjele.

Musk nije ponudio detalje o tome kako će sve to postići i tko će voditi tvrtku. Također je najavio i otpuštanja, čime približno 7.500 Twitterovih zaposlenika ostaje zabrinuto za svoju budućnost, piše Reuters.

Elon Musk ranije u četvrtak je rekao da želi da Twitter postane "najpoštovanija platforma za oglašavanje”, što se tumačilo kao pokušaj stjecanja povjerenja oglašivača uoči očekivane kupovine te društvene mreže, pri čemu je poručio i da tom akvizicijom želi "pomoći čovječanstvu".

Musk, suosnivač Twittera Jack Dorsey i drugi investitori ranije su sugerirali da žele udaljiti tu društvenu mrežu od reklama i prihode stjecati pretplatama i drugim sredstvima. Sam Musk jednom je napisao "da mrzi oglašavanje".

"Postoji mnogo nagađanja zašto sam kupio Twitter i što mislim o oglašavanju. Većina ih je pogrešna. U osnovi, Twitter želi biti najpoštovanija platforma za oglašavanje na svijetu koja osnažuje vaš brend i donosi rast tvrtkama”, napisao je Musk, najbogatiji čovjek na svijetu i izvršni direktor kompanije Tesla.

Inače, više od 90 posto prihoda Twittera u drugom kvartalu ove godine došlo je od oglašavanja.

Musk, koji se proglasio "apsolutistom slobodnog govora”, u svibnju je rekao da bi ukinuo zabranu pristupa Twitteru bivšem američkom predsjedniku Donaldu Trumpu koji je uklonjen s mreže u siječnju prošle godine zbog straha od poticanja nasilja nakon što su njegovi pobornici upali u vašingtonski Kapitol.

Kako navodi Reuters, Muskova akvizicija Twittera predstavlja vrhunac sage pune obrata, pri čemu se i sumnjalo hoće li taj multimilijarder uspjeti zaključiti posao.

Naime, Musk je u proljeće ponudio preuzimanje platforme za 54,20 dolara po dionici, procjenjujući je na 44 milijarde dolara. Upravni odbor društvene mreže, u početku vrlo nevoljko, na kraju je prihvatio ponudu.

Ali hiroviti poduzetnik jednostrano je odustao od ovog sporazuma u srpnju, a Twitter je pokrenuo pravni postupak kako bi ga prisilio da poštuje svoju obvezu.

Naposljetku, početkom listopada sud u američkoj saveznoj državi Delaware naredio je prekid tužbi Twittera protiv Elona Muska te mu dao vremena da financira svoje preuzimanje, a transakcija je tako morala biti zaključena do danas do 13 sati po hrvatskom vremenu

Elon Musk u četvrtak navečer zaključio je svoju 44 milijarde dolara vrijednu akviziciju Twittera, a prvi potez mu je bio otpuštanje najvišeg vodstva te društvene mreže.

Kako Reuters doznaje od ljudi upoznatih sa situacijom, Musk je otpustio glavnog izvršnog direktora Twittera Paraga Agrawala, glavnog financijskog direktora Neda Segala te šefa za pravna pitanja i politike Vijaya Gaddea.

Agrawal i Segal bili su u Twitterovom sjedištu u San Franciscu kada je dogovor sklopljen i ispraćeni su van, dodali su ti izvori. Twitter, Musk i otpušteni direktori nisu trenutno odgovorili na Reutersov upit za komentar.

Musk je dosadašnje čelnike optužio da su njega i investitore doveli u zabludu oko broja lažnih računa na platformi, kao i da mu nisu pružili jasne argumente oko toga kako ostvariti visoke ambicije koje ima s tom utjecajnom društvenom platformom.

Musk je rekao da na Twitteru želi poraziti "spam botove", učiniti javno dostupnima algoritme koji određuju kako će se sadržaj prezentirati korisnicima te spriječiti da platforma postane komora za mržnju i podjele.

Musk nije ponudio detalje o tome kako će sve to postići i tko će voditi tvrtku. Također je najavio i otpuštanja, čime približno 7.500 Twitterovih zaposlenika ostaje zabrinuto za svoju budućnost, piše Reuters.

Musk, suosnivač Twittera Jack Dorsey i drugi investitori ranije su sugerirali da žele udaljiti tu društvenu mrežu od reklama i prihode stjecati pretplatama i drugim sredstvima. Sam Musk jednom je napisao "da mrzi oglašavanje".

"Postoji mnogo nagađanja zašto sam kupio Twitter i što mislim o oglašavanju. Većina ih je pogrešna. U osnovi, Twitter želi biti najpoštovanija platforma za oglašavanje na svijetu koja osnažuje vaš brend i donosi rast tvrtkama”, napisao je Musk, najbogatiji čovjek na svijetu i izvršni direktor kompanije Tesla.

Inače, više od 90 posto prihoda Twittera u drugom kvartalu ove godine došlo je od oglašavanja.
