Odcijepljena regija Nagorno-Karabah u nedjelju je objavila da je u sukobima s azerbajdžanskim snagama ubijeno 16 njezinih vojnika, a ozlijeđeno ih je više od 100.

Međunarodni crveni križ javlja da među žrtava ima i civila.

Sukobi između armenskih i azerskih snaga u nedjelju su izbili u Nagorno Karabahu, regiji koja pripada Azerbajdžanu, no većinski je nastanjena etničkim Armencima.

Sukobi su ponovno izazvali zabrinutost oko stabilnosti južnog Kavkaza, koridora za transport plina i nafte na svjetska tržišta.
Armenske vlasti proglasile su u nedjelju ratno stanje i opću mobilizaciju nakon novih sukoba.

Premijer Armenije Nikol Pašinjan rekao je da njegova država sukob s Azerbajdžanom u spornoj regiji smatra objavom rata.

"Autoritarni režim azerbajdžanskog predsjednika Ilhama Alijeva nastavlja sa svojim neprijateljstvima. Objavio je rat armenskom narodu", kazao je Pašinjan u videu objavljenom u nedjelju na Facebooku.

"Spremni smo za ovaj rat", poručio je armenski čelnik dok se dvije države optužuju tko je kriv za nedjeljne sukobe. Pašinjan tvrdi da je Azerbajdžan napao regiju teškim naoružanjem.

Pozvao je međunarodnu zajednicu da učini sve što može kako bi spriječila intervenciju iz Turske, saveznice Azerbajdžana.

O sukobu su se danas oglasile Turska i Rusija, prenosi Index.

Glasnogovornik turskog predsjednika Ibrahim Kalin na Twitteru je objavio kako Ankara osuđuje napad Armenije na Azerbajdžan. "Azerbajdžan ima potpunu podršku Turske u svom pravu na samoobranu", napisao je.

S druge strane, Rusija pokušava smiriti situaciju. Ministar vanjskih poslova Sergej Lavrov poručio je kako je Rusija spremna biti medijator u sukobu i pozvao je obje strane na prekid vatre.

Azerbajdžanski predsjednik Alijev rekao je u nedjelju da njegova zemlja želi trajno rješenje regionalnog sukoba.

"Problem Nagorno Karabaha je naš nacionalni zadatak. Rješenje je naša povijesna misija", rekao je Alijev, prenosi azerbejdžanska agencija turan.az.

Narod mora biti zadovoljan obnavljanjem teritorijalnog integriteta države, dodao je Alijev. Ranije je objavio početak vojne operacije u toj spornoj regiji koju kontrolira susjedna Armenija.

"Nekoliko sam puta rekao da nam ne treba nesavršeno rješenje za ovo pitanje, ovaj sukob", kazao je. "Nikad nećemo dopustiti osnivanje takozvane druge armenske države na azerbajdžanskom tlu".

Nagorno Karabah je planinska regija koja se prostire na oko 4,4 kvadratnih kilometara, a tradicionalno ju nastanjuju kršćanski Armenci i muslimanski turkijski narod.

Etnički Armenci u Nagorno-Karabahu proglasili su neovisnost za vrijeme sukoba koji je izbio nakon raspada Sovjetskog Saveza 1991.

Premda su 1994. dogovorile prekid vatre, Azerbajdžan i Armenija jedna drugu optužuju za napade oko Nagorno-Karabaha i duž državne granice između dviju zemalja.

Odcijepljena regija Nagorno-Karabah u nedjelju je objavila da je u sukobima s azerbajdžanskim snagama ubijeno 16 njezinih vojnika, a ozlijeđeno ih je više od 100.

Međunarodni crveni križ javlja da među žrtava ima i civila.

Sukobi između armenskih i azerskih snaga u nedjelju su izbili u Nagorno Karabahu, regiji koja pripada Azerbajdžanu, no većinski je nastanjena etničkim Armencima.

Sukobi su ponovno izazvali zabrinutost oko stabilnosti južnog Kavkaza, koridora za transport plina i nafte na svjetska tržišta.
Armenske vlasti proglasile su u nedjelju ratno stanje i opću mobilizaciju nakon novih sukoba.

Premijer Armenije Nikol Pašinjan rekao je da njegova država sukob s Azerbajdžanom u spornoj regiji smatra objavom rata.

"Autoritarni režim azerbajdžanskog predsjednika Ilhama Alijeva nastavlja sa svojim neprijateljstvima. Objavio je rat armenskom narodu", kazao je Pašinjan u videu objavljenom u nedjelju na Facebooku.

"Spremni smo za ovaj rat", poručio je armenski čelnik dok se dvije države optužuju tko je kriv za nedjeljne sukobe. Pašinjan tvrdi da je Azerbajdžan napao regiju teškim naoružanjem.

Pozvao je međunarodnu zajednicu da učini sve što može kako bi spriječila intervenciju iz Turske, saveznice Azerbajdžana.

O sukobu su se danas oglasile Turska i Rusija, prenosi Index.

Glasnogovornik turskog predsjednika Ibrahim Kalin na Twitteru je objavio kako Ankara osuđuje napad Armenije na Azerbajdžan. "Azerbajdžan ima potpunu podršku Turske u svom pravu na samoobranu", napisao je.

S druge strane, Rusija pokušava smiriti situaciju. Ministar vanjskih poslova Sergej Lavrov poručio je kako je Rusija spremna biti medijator u sukobu i pozvao je obje strane na prekid vatre.

Azerbajdžanski predsjednik Alijev rekao je u nedjelju da njegova zemlja želi trajno rješenje regionalnog sukoba.

"Problem Nagorno Karabaha je naš nacionalni zadatak. Rješenje je naša povijesna misija", rekao je Alijev, prenosi azerbejdžanska agencija turan.az.

Narod mora biti zadovoljan obnavljanjem teritorijalnog integriteta države, dodao je Alijev. Ranije je objavio početak vojne operacije u toj spornoj regiji koju kontrolira susjedna Armenija.

"Nekoliko sam puta rekao da nam ne treba nesavršeno rješenje za ovo pitanje, ovaj sukob", kazao je. "Nikad nećemo dopustiti osnivanje takozvane druge armenske države na azerbajdžanskom tlu".

Nagorno Karabah je planinska regija koja se prostire na oko 4,4 kvadratnih kilometara, a tradicionalno ju nastanjuju kršćanski Armenci i muslimanski turkijski narod.

Etnički Armenci u Nagorno-Karabahu proglasili su neovisnost za vrijeme sukoba koji je izbio nakon raspada Sovjetskog Saveza 1991.

Premda su 1994. dogovorile prekid vatre, Azerbajdžan i Armenija jedna drugu optužuju za napade oko Nagorno-Karabaha i duž državne granice između dviju zemalja.
