Kirurg (52) pravomoćno je proglašen krivim zbog smrti pacijenta (27) tijekom rutinske operacije hemoroida i mora u zatvor.
Riječ je o poznatom slučaju iz varaždinske bolnice nakon što su protiv kirurga i drugog liječnika, šefa bolničkog odjela, bile podignute optužnice zbog sumnje da su 2009. tijekom operacije skrivili smrt 27-godišnjeg pacijenta iz Čakovca koji je preminuo od teške sepse nakon rutinske operacije hemoroida, piše Danica.hr.
Kirurga se teretilo da tijekom zahvata nije zaustavio krvarenje. Kasnije se odustalo od kaznenog progona protiv šefa odjela varaždinske bolnice.
“Unatoč pogoršanju zdravstvenog stanja pacijenta nakon operacije, kirurg nije poduzeo nužne dijagnostičke postupke radi pravodobnog uočavanja nastanka dva veća hematoma.
Nakon što su hematomi uočeni, okrivljenik je obavio neadekvatan operativni zahvat pa je došlo do dodatnog prodora bakterija u organizam pacijenta te gnojne upale i teške infekcije”, stoji u pravomoćnoj presudi.
Optuženik je proglašen krivim da je kao liječnik kirurg primijenio očito nepodoban način liječenja 27-godišnjeg pacijenta prilikom i nakon operacije hemoroidalnih čvorova te propustio primijeniti mjere za zaštitu bolesnika prema pravilima medicinske struke uslijed čega je pacijent preminuo.
Općinski sud u Varaždinu bio je osudio optuženika na kaznu zatvora u trajanju od jedne godine od čega šest mjeseci bezuvjetno, a šest mjeseci uvjetno s rokom kušnje od dvije godine.
No, Županijski sud je nakon žalbe državnog odvjetništva preinačio odluku o kazni i osudio optuženika na kaznu zatvora u trajanju od jedne godine i dva mjeseca, od čega šest mjeseci bezuvjetno, a osam mjeseci uvjetno s rokom kušnje od dvije godine.
Presuda je, dakle, pravomoćna i varaždinski kirurg uskoro će se morati javiti na odsluženje zatvorske kazne.

Kirurg (52) pravomoćno je proglašen krivim zbog smrti pacijenta (27) tijekom rutinske operacije hemoroida i mora u zatvor.
Riječ je o poznatom slučaju iz varaždinske bolnice nakon što su protiv kirurga i drugog liječnika, šefa bolničkog odjela, bile podignute optužnice zbog sumnje da su 2009. tijekom operacije skrivili smrt 27-godišnjeg pacijenta iz Čakovca koji je preminuo od teške sepse nakon rutinske operacije hemoroida, piše Danica.hr.
Kirurga se teretilo da tijekom zahvata nije zaustavio krvarenje. Kasnije se odustalo od kaznenog progona protiv šefa odjela varaždinske bolnice.
“Unatoč pogoršanju zdravstvenog stanja pacijenta nakon operacije, kirurg nije poduzeo nužne dijagnostičke postupke radi pravodobnog uočavanja nastanka dva veća hematoma.
Nakon što su hematomi uočeni, okrivljenik je obavio neadekvatan operativni zahvat pa je došlo do dodatnog prodora bakterija u organizam pacijenta te gnojne upale i teške infekcije”, stoji u pravomoćnoj presudi.
Optuženik je proglašen krivim da je kao liječnik kirurg primijenio očito nepodoban način liječenja 27-godišnjeg pacijenta prilikom i nakon operacije hemoroidalnih čvorova te propustio primijeniti mjere za zaštitu bolesnika prema pravilima medicinske struke uslijed čega je pacijent preminuo.
Općinski sud u Varaždinu bio je osudio optuženika na kaznu zatvora u trajanju od jedne godine od čega šest mjeseci bezuvjetno, a šest mjeseci uvjetno s rokom kušnje od dvije godine.
No, Županijski sud je nakon žalbe državnog odvjetništva preinačio odluku o kazni i osudio optuženika na kaznu zatvora u trajanju od jedne godine i dva mjeseca, od čega šest mjeseci bezuvjetno, a osam mjeseci uvjetno s rokom kušnje od dvije godine.
