Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo službeno je preporučio nastavak korištenja cjepiva AstraZenece. Njihovo priopćenje prenosimo u cijelosti.
'Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) ocijenila je da, iako nije moguće isključiti moguću povezanost cijepljenja protiv COVID-19 s razvojem vrlo rijetkih slučajeva neuobičajenih tromboza sa smanjenim brojem trombocita, koristi od cijepljenja s AstraZenecom u prevenciji hospitalizacije ili smrti prevladavaju nad nuspojavama.
Temeljitom analizom specifičnih poremećaja zgrušavanja prijavljenih nakon cijepljenja AstraZenecinim cjepivom, Europska agencija za lijekove zaključila je da postoji moguća povezanost cijepljenja s razvojem ovih vrlo rijetkih događaja. Takvi će se poremećaji zgrušavanja odsad navoditi kao vrlo rijetka moguća nuspojava cijepljenja. Europska agencija za lijekove stoga podsjeća cijepljene osobe na moguće simptome na koje je potrebno obratiti pažnju i javiti se liječniku. Isto tako, EMA podsjeća i liječnike da trebaju misliti na mogućnost takvih događaja kod cijepljenih osoba koje razviju simptome koji mogu ukazivati na takav poremećaj zgrušavanja.
Većina se ovih događaja dogodila unutar dva tjedna nakon cijepljenja kod žena mlađih od 60 godina, ali se iz analiziranih podataka ne može utvrditi da su dob i spol doista čimbenici koji povećavaju rizik od nastanka tih nuspojava.
Europska agencija za lijekove i dalje smatra da je korist od cijepljenja u smislu sprječavanja COVID-19, komplikacija, bolničkog liječenja i smrti uzrokovanih bolešću COVID-19, veća od rizika koje nosi cijepljenje.
U svjetlu tih činjenica, Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo preporučuje nastavak korištenja cjepiva AstraZeneca i dijeli mišljenje EMA-a da koristi od cijepljenja značajno nadmašuju rizik od nuspojava, jer cjepivo djelotvorno štiti od hospitalizacije i smrtnog ishoda. Pritom podsjećamo na opasnost od oboljenja od COVID-19 čija stopa smrtnosti (Case Fatality Rate) trenutno iznosi oko 2,2%, što znači da se na svakih 45 potvrđenih slučajeva zaraze u Hrvatskoj statistički može očekivati jedan smrtonosni ishod.
Kao i Europska agencija za lijekove, i Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo će i dalje nastaviti pomno pratiti sigurnost i učinkovitost cijepljenja i o tome redovito obavještavati javnost.'

Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo službeno je preporučio nastavak korištenja cjepiva AstraZenece. Njihovo priopćenje prenosimo u cijelosti.
'Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) ocijenila je da, iako nije moguće isključiti moguću povezanost cijepljenja protiv COVID-19 s razvojem vrlo rijetkih slučajeva neuobičajenih tromboza sa smanjenim brojem trombocita, koristi od cijepljenja s AstraZenecom u prevenciji hospitalizacije ili smrti prevladavaju nad nuspojavama.
Temeljitom analizom specifičnih poremećaja zgrušavanja prijavljenih nakon cijepljenja AstraZenecinim cjepivom, Europska agencija za lijekove zaključila je da postoji moguća povezanost cijepljenja s razvojem ovih vrlo rijetkih događaja. Takvi će se poremećaji zgrušavanja odsad navoditi kao vrlo rijetka moguća nuspojava cijepljenja. Europska agencija za lijekove stoga podsjeća cijepljene osobe na moguće simptome na koje je potrebno obratiti pažnju i javiti se liječniku. Isto tako, EMA podsjeća i liječnike da trebaju misliti na mogućnost takvih događaja kod cijepljenih osoba koje razviju simptome koji mogu ukazivati na takav poremećaj zgrušavanja.
Većina se ovih događaja dogodila unutar dva tjedna nakon cijepljenja kod žena mlađih od 60 godina, ali se iz analiziranih podataka ne može utvrditi da su dob i spol doista čimbenici koji povećavaju rizik od nastanka tih nuspojava.
Europska agencija za lijekove i dalje smatra da je korist od cijepljenja u smislu sprječavanja COVID-19, komplikacija, bolničkog liječenja i smrti uzrokovanih bolešću COVID-19, veća od rizika koje nosi cijepljenje.
U svjetlu tih činjenica, Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo preporučuje nastavak korištenja cjepiva AstraZeneca i dijeli mišljenje EMA-a da koristi od cijepljenja značajno nadmašuju rizik od nuspojava, jer cjepivo djelotvorno štiti od hospitalizacije i smrtnog ishoda. Pritom podsjećamo na opasnost od oboljenja od COVID-19 čija stopa smrtnosti (Case Fatality Rate) trenutno iznosi oko 2,2%, što znači da se na svakih 45 potvrđenih slučajeva zaraze u Hrvatskoj statistički može očekivati jedan smrtonosni ishod.
