Blizu 28 posto ljudi koji žive u Europskoj uniji ne mogu si priuštiti  tjedan dana godišnjeg odmora, pokazalo je istraživanje koje je objavila Europska konfederacija sindikata.

Za one čiji su prihodi blizu ili ispod praga siromaštva - uključujući milijune slabo plaćenih radnika, umirovljene i nezaposlene - taj je udio čak 59,5 posto, pokazalo je istraživanje koje prenosi portal klix.

"Iako je u posljednjem desetljeća mogućnost odlaska na odmor porasla, većina obitelji s niskim primanjima i dalje si to ne može priuštiti", priopćili su iz Europske konfederacije sindikata u analizi koja se temelji na podacima službene statističke agencije Eurostat.

Stanovnici Grčke čiji su prihodi ispod praga siromaštva najlošije stoje od svih EU zemalja gdje si njih 88,9 posto ne može priuštiti godišnji odmor. Nakon njih, slijede Rumunjska sa 86,8 posto, Hrvatska s 84,7 posto i Cipar sa 79,2 posto.

Analiza je također pokazala da sedam milijuna Talijana nije u mogućnosti priuštiti godišnji odmor, 4,7 milijuna Španjolaca, 4,3 milijuna Nijemaca i 3,6 milijuna francuskih radnika.

Zamjenica glavnog tajnika Europske konfederacije sindikata, Esther Lynch, rekla je da odmori "ne bi trebali biti luksuz za rijetke".

"Direktivu EU-a o odgovarajućim minimalnim plaćama potrebno je ojačati kako bi se osiguralo da plaće nikada ne budu tako niske", rekla je Lynch.

Konfederacija ističe i da je nejednakost između onih sa slabijim prihodima i onih iznad tog praga porasla u 16 država članica u posljednjih deset godina.

Blizu 28 posto ljudi koji žive u Europskoj uniji ne mogu si priuštiti  tjedan dana godišnjeg odmora, pokazalo je istraživanje koje je objavila Europska konfederacija sindikata.

Za one čiji su prihodi blizu ili ispod praga siromaštva - uključujući milijune slabo plaćenih radnika, umirovljene i nezaposlene - taj je udio čak 59,5 posto, pokazalo je istraživanje koje prenosi portal klix.

"Iako je u posljednjem desetljeća mogućnost odlaska na odmor porasla, većina obitelji s niskim primanjima i dalje si to ne može priuštiti", priopćili su iz Europske konfederacije sindikata u analizi koja se temelji na podacima službene statističke agencije Eurostat.

Stanovnici Grčke čiji su prihodi ispod praga siromaštva najlošije stoje od svih EU zemalja gdje si njih 88,9 posto ne može priuštiti godišnji odmor. Nakon njih, slijede Rumunjska sa 86,8 posto, Hrvatska s 84,7 posto i Cipar sa 79,2 posto.

Analiza je također pokazala da sedam milijuna Talijana nije u mogućnosti priuštiti godišnji odmor, 4,7 milijuna Španjolaca, 4,3 milijuna Nijemaca i 3,6 milijuna francuskih radnika.

Zamjenica glavnog tajnika Europske konfederacije sindikata, Esther Lynch, rekla je da odmori "ne bi trebali biti luksuz za rijetke".

"Direktivu EU-a o odgovarajućim minimalnim plaćama potrebno je ojačati kako bi se osiguralo da plaće nikada ne budu tako niske", rekla je Lynch.

Konfederacija ističe i da je nejednakost između onih sa slabijim prihodima i onih iznad tog praga porasla u 16 država članica u posljednjih deset godina.

Gotovo trećina stanovništva EU-a ne može si priuštiti jednotjedni godišnji odmor: Hrvatska na vrhu neslavne ljestvice, zajedno s Rumunjskom i Grčkom

Blizu 28 posto ljudi koji žive u Europskoj uniji ne mogu si priuštiti  tjedan dana godišnjeg odmora, pokazalo je istraživanje koje je objavila Europska konfederacija sindikata.

Za one čiji su prihodi blizu ili ispod praga siromaštva - uključujući milijune slabo plaćenih radnika, umirovljene i nezaposlene - taj je udio čak 59,5 posto, pokazalo je istraživanje koje prenosi portal klix.

"Iako je u posljednjem desetljeća mogućnost odlaska na odmor porasla, većina obitelji s niskim primanjima i dalje si to ne može priuštiti", priopćili su iz Europske konfederacije sindikata u analizi koja se temelji na podacima službene statističke agencije Eurostat.

Stanovnici Grčke čiji su prihodi ispod praga siromaštva najlošije stoje od svih EU zemalja gdje si njih 88,9 posto ne može priuštiti godišnji odmor. Nakon njih, slijede Rumunjska sa 86,8 posto, Hrvatska s 84,7 posto i Cipar sa 79,2 posto.

Analiza je također pokazala da sedam milijuna Talijana nije u mogućnosti priuštiti godišnji odmor, 4,7 milijuna Španjolaca, 4,3 milijuna Nijemaca i 3,6 milijuna francuskih radnika.

Zamjenica glavnog tajnika Europske konfederacije sindikata, Esther Lynch, rekla je da odmori "ne bi trebali biti luksuz za rijetke".

"Direktivu EU-a o odgovarajućim minimalnim plaćama potrebno je ojačati kako bi se osiguralo da plaće nikada ne budu tako niske", rekla je Lynch.

Konfederacija ističe i da je nejednakost između onih sa slabijim prihodima i onih iznad tog praga porasla u 16 država članica u posljednjih deset godina.
