Broj poginulih u klizištima i poplavama prouzročenih prvom ovogodišnjom tropskom olujom u Filipinima narastao je na 172, a 110 ljudi se još uvijek vode kao nestali, poručila je u nedjelju filipinska služba za nepogode.

Većina žrtava, njih 156, bilo je iz pokrajine Leyte, udaljene otprilike 600 kilometara jugoistočno od glavnog grada Manile, gdje su klizišta opustošila zajednice u gradovima Baybay i Abuyog.

Barem 104 osobe još uvijek se vode kao nestali u ta dva grada, poručeno je iz nadležne službe.

Šesnaestero ljudi izgubilo je život u drugim područjima pogođenim poplavama izazvanima tropskom olujom Megi od 10. travnja, dodala je služba.

Više od dva milijuna ljudi u 30 pokrajina je pogođeno olujom, koja je prisilila više od 207.500 stanovnika da napuste svoje domove i ostanu u evakuacijskim centrima.

Procijenjena šteta nanesena poljoprivredi, kućama i javnoj infrastrukturi iznosi više od 257 milijuna pesosa (više od 34 milijuna kuna), poručila je služba.

Potrage za nestalim osobama nastavljaju se unatoč zabrinutosti za sigurnost spasilačkih ekipa u područjima klizišta, rekao je Mark Timbal, glasnogovornik državne službe za nepogode.

"Dosad naše spasilačke nisu prestale sa svojim operacijama. Više od 300 članova ekipa mobilizirano je kako bi pomogli žrtvama", rekao je Timbal na radio postaji DZBB u Manili.

Timbal je pozvao one koji žele donirati novac da to rade u komunikaciji s jedinicama lokalne samouprave kako bi se ta pomoć ispravno raspodijelila.

"U pravilu, trebamo hranu, vodu, pokrivače i higijenske potrepštine za unesrećene", rekao je Timbal.

U prosjeku 20 tropskih ciklona pogodi filipinski arhipelag svake godine.

Broj poginulih u klizištima i poplavama prouzročenih prvom ovogodišnjom tropskom olujom u Filipinima narastao je na 172, a 110 ljudi se još uvijek vode kao nestali, poručila je u nedjelju filipinska služba za nepogode.

Većina žrtava, njih 156, bilo je iz pokrajine Leyte, udaljene otprilike 600 kilometara jugoistočno od glavnog grada Manile, gdje su klizišta opustošila zajednice u gradovima Baybay i Abuyog.

Barem 104 osobe još uvijek se vode kao nestali u ta dva grada, poručeno je iz nadležne službe.

Šesnaestero ljudi izgubilo je život u drugim područjima pogođenim poplavama izazvanima tropskom olujom Megi od 10. travnja, dodala je služba.

Više od dva milijuna ljudi u 30 pokrajina je pogođeno olujom, koja je prisilila više od 207.500 stanovnika da napuste svoje domove i ostanu u evakuacijskim centrima.

Procijenjena šteta nanesena poljoprivredi, kućama i javnoj infrastrukturi iznosi više od 257 milijuna pesosa (više od 34 milijuna kuna), poručila je služba.

Potrage za nestalim osobama nastavljaju se unatoč zabrinutosti za sigurnost spasilačkih ekipa u područjima klizišta, rekao je Mark Timbal, glasnogovornik državne službe za nepogode.

"Dosad naše spasilačke nisu prestale sa svojim operacijama. Više od 300 članova ekipa mobilizirano je kako bi pomogli žrtvama", rekao je Timbal na radio postaji DZBB u Manili.

Timbal je pozvao one koji žele donirati novac da to rade u komunikaciji s jedinicama lokalne samouprave kako bi se ta pomoć ispravno raspodijelila.

"U pravilu, trebamo hranu, vodu, pokrivače i higijenske potrepštine za unesrećene", rekao je Timbal.

U prosjeku 20 tropskih ciklona pogodi filipinski arhipelag svake godine.

Broj poginulih u klizištima i poplavama prouzročenih prvom ovogodišnjom tropskom olujom u Filipinima narastao je na 172, a 110 ljudi se još uvijek vode kao nestali, poručila je u nedjelju filipinska služba za nepogode.

Većina žrtava, njih 156, bilo je iz pokrajine Leyte, udaljene otprilike 600 kilometara jugoistočno od glavnog grada Manile, gdje su klizišta opustošila zajednice u gradovima Baybay i Abuyog.

Barem 104 osobe još uvijek se vode kao nestali u ta dva grada, poručeno je iz nadležne službe.

Šesnaestero ljudi izgubilo je život u drugim područjima pogođenim poplavama izazvanima tropskom olujom Megi od 10. travnja, dodala je služba.

Više od dva milijuna ljudi u 30 pokrajina je pogođeno olujom, koja je prisilila više od 207.500 stanovnika da napuste svoje domove i ostanu u evakuacijskim centrima.

Procijenjena šteta nanesena poljoprivredi, kućama i javnoj infrastrukturi iznosi više od 257 milijuna pesosa (više od 34 milijuna kuna), poručila je služba.

Potrage za nestalim osobama nastavljaju se unatoč zabrinutosti za sigurnost spasilačkih ekipa u područjima klizišta, rekao je Mark Timbal, glasnogovornik državne službe za nepogode.

"Dosad naše spasilačke nisu prestale sa svojim operacijama. Više od 300 članova ekipa mobilizirano je kako bi pomogli žrtvama", rekao je Timbal na radio postaji DZBB u Manili.

Timbal je pozvao one koji žele donirati novac da to rade u komunikaciji s jedinicama lokalne samouprave kako bi se ta pomoć ispravno raspodijelila.

"U pravilu, trebamo hranu, vodu, pokrivače i higijenske potrepštine za unesrećene", rekao je Timbal.

U prosjeku 20 tropskih ciklona pogodi filipinski arhipelag svake godine.
