Na cijelom otoku Ugljanu uvedena je redukcija potrošnje vode.

- S redukcijama smo počeli u noći sa srijede na četvrtak. To u praksi znači da cijeli otok nema vode od 23 sata, pa do pet sati ujutro – kazao nam je u četvrtak načelnik Općine Preko Jure Brižić.

Redukcija se provodi i u ostale dvije općine na otoku Ugljanu, u općinama Kali i Kukljica.

- Stanovnici koji žive skroz u najnižim pojasevima otoka, uz obalu, tijekom noći možda imaju tek neznatno „curenje“ iz slavina, no svi mi ostali na sasvim malo povišenim područjima, pa naviše, uopće nemamo vode tih šest noćnih sati – rekao je načelnik Brižić.

Ovo je odluka zadarskog „Vodovoda“, s obzirom da se na otoku troši oko 80 litara vode u sekundi, a maksimalne mogućnosti su 55 litara, objašnjava Brižić. Otok vodu dobiva s kopna, spojen je cjevovodom izgrađenim 70-ih godina, a vodospreme se nalaze u Lukoranu i u Kalima. Rješenje se nameće samo od sebe, tvrdi načelnik Brižić.

- Ako imamo cijev napravljenu 70-ih godina, očigledno da je nakon 50 godina potrebna još jedna, da bi vodoopskrba funkcionirala normalno i da bi dotok vode bio dostatan – kaže Brižić.

No prethodno se, trenutačno rješenje, vidi u popravku cijevi u Kalima, što će zapravo značiti poboljšanje vodoopskrbe, a ne rješenje.

- U srijedu je u Kalima otkriveno puknuće vodovodne cijevi na četiri mjesta. Voda je otjecala nekontrolirano. Već danas se kvarovi otklanjaju i osjetit će se bolji dotok nakon toga. Tamo je potrošnja vode bila izuzetno velika, sada su utvrđena puknuća i to će se drastično ublažiti popravkom – kaže Brižić.

U ovoj općini još uvijek je na snazi i zabrana korištenja vode na tuševima na plaži. Voda je zatvorena i tuševi na plažama su „suhi.“

- Nema govora da pustimo vodu na tuševima, a da u kućama imamo redukcije. Ta se voda na plažama ionako trošila nekontrolirano. Svjestan sam da zatvaranje vode na tuševima, što smo uveli na početku ovog tjedna, nema nikakav efekt na vodoopskrbu u mjestu, ali time smo već u ponedjeljak skrenuli pozornost mještanima da imamo ozbiljnih problema s vodom. Smatrao sam da će to utjecati na podizanje svijesti o nužnosti racionalnije potrošnje – rekao je načelnik Općine Preko Jure Brižić, dodajući da su „nestanak“ vode na tuševima svi dobro prihvatili. Načelnik nam nije znao kazati koliko se trenutačno turista odmara na otoku Ugljanu i koliko je time povećan broj žitelja, no ustvrdio je da noćenja ima „oko 30 posto više“ nego rekordne 2019. godine.

Za razliku od otoka Ugljana, koji je cjevovodom spojen s kopnom, ostale otoke zadarskog arhipelaga vodom opskrbljuje vodonosac.

- S redukcijama smo počeli u noći sa srijede na četvrtak. To u praksi znači da cijeli otok nema vode od 23 sata, pa do pet sati ujutro – kazao nam je u četvrtak načelnik Općine Preko Jure Brižić.

Redukcija se provodi i u ostale dvije općine na otoku Ugljanu, u općinama Kali i Kukljica.

- Stanovnici koji žive skroz u najnižim pojasevima otoka, uz obalu, tijekom noći možda imaju tek neznatno „curenje“ iz slavina, no svi mi ostali na sasvim malo povišenim područjima, pa naviše, uopće nemamo vode tih šest noćnih sati – rekao je načelnik Brižić.

Ovo je odluka zadarskog „Vodovoda“, s obzirom da se na otoku troši oko 80 litara vode u sekundi, a maksimalne mogućnosti su 55 litara, objašnjava Brižić. Otok vodu dobiva s kopna, spojen je cjevovodom izgrađenim 70-ih godina, a vodospreme se nalaze u Lukoranu i u Kalima. Rješenje se nameće samo od sebe, tvrdi načelnik Brižić.

- Ako imamo cijev napravljenu 70-ih godina, očigledno da je nakon 50 godina potrebna još jedna, da bi vodoopskrba funkcionirala normalno i da bi dotok vode bio dostatan – kaže Brižić.

No prethodno se, trenutačno rješenje, vidi u popravku cijevi u Kalima, što će zapravo značiti poboljšanje vodoopskrbe, a ne rješenje.

- U srijedu je u Kalima otkriveno puknuće vodovodne cijevi na četiri mjesta. Voda je otjecala nekontrolirano. Već danas se kvarovi otklanjaju i osjetit će se bolji dotok nakon toga. Tamo je potrošnja vode bila izuzetno velika, sada su utvrđena puknuća i to će se drastično ublažiti popravkom – kaže Brižić.

U ovoj općini još uvijek je na snazi i zabrana korištenja vode na tuševima na plaži. Voda je zatvorena i tuševi na plažama su „suhi.“

- Nema govora da pustimo vodu na tuševima, a da u kućama imamo redukcije. Ta se voda na plažama ionako trošila nekontrolirano. Svjestan sam da zatvaranje vode na tuševima, što smo uveli na početku ovog tjedna, nema nikakav efekt na vodoopskrbu u mjestu, ali time smo već u ponedjeljak skrenuli pozornost mještanima da imamo ozbiljnih problema s vodom. Smatrao sam da će to utjecati na podizanje svijesti o nužnosti racionalnije potrošnje – rekao je načelnik Općine Preko Jure Brižić, dodajući da su „nestanak“ vode na tuševima svi dobro prihvatili. Načelnik nam nije znao kazati koliko se trenutačno turista odmara na otoku Ugljanu i koliko je time povećan broj žitelja, no ustvrdio je da noćenja ima „oko 30 posto više“ nego rekordne 2019. godine.

Za razliku od otoka Ugljana, koji je cjevovodom spojen s kopnom, ostale otoke zadarskog arhipelaga vodom opskrbljuje vodonosac.
