Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) odobrila je u petak korištenje cjepiva protiv koronavirusa Pfizer/BioNTecha za djecu u dobi od 12 do 15 godina, čime je ono postalo prvo cjepivo koje je odobreno za adolescente u 27 zemalja članica EU-a. Slično odobrenje to je cjepivo već dobilo u Sjedinjenim Državama i Kanadi. Cjepivo se u Europskoj uniji već koristi za one u dobi od 16 godina i starije.
Sad je na pojedinim državama EU-a da odluče hoće li i kada ponuditi cjepivo tinejdžerima.
Ravnatelj HZJZ-a Krunoslav Capak danas je kazao kako djeca trenutno nisu prioritet, no da će i ona doći na red za cijepljenje.
"Sva djeca starija od 12 godina mogu se cijepiti Pfizerom, ali u ovom trenutku djeca nisu prioritet, izuzev onih koji imaju neku kroničnu bolest. Prioritet nam je radno aktivno stanovništvo, a nakon toga ćemo cijepiti i djecu", istaknuo je Capak.

Nakon što je jučer EMA odobrila da se Pfizerom mogu cijepiti djeca starija od 12 godina, HALMED je danas također izdao priopćenje.
"Povjerenstvo za humane lijekove (CHMP) pri EMA-i preporučilo je proširenje indikacije za primjenu cjepiva Comirnaty proizvođača BioNTech i Pfizer u djece u dobi između 12 i 15 godina. Cjepivo Comirnaty od ranije je odobreno za prevenciju bolesti COVID-19 u odraslih osoba i adolescenata u dobi od 16 i više godina. Cjepivo Comirnaty primjenjuje se u djece u dobi od 12 do 15 godina jednako kao u odraslih osoba i adolescenata u dobi od 16 i više godina. Primjenjuje se u dvije doze putem injekcije u mišić nadlaktice, uz vremenski razmak od tri tjedna između doza. Učinci cjepiva ispitani su u 2.260 osoba u dobi između 12 i 15 godina, u skladu s planom pedijatrijskog ispitivanja (engl. paediatric investigation plan, PIP) koji je odobrilo Povjerenstvo za pedijatriju (PDCO) pri EMA-i – naveli su iz HALMED-a.

Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) odobrila je u petak korištenje cjepiva protiv koronavirusa Pfizer/BioNTecha za djecu u dobi od 12 do 15 godina, čime je ono postalo prvo cjepivo koje je odobreno za adolescente u 27 zemalja članica EU-a. Slično odobrenje to je cjepivo već dobilo u Sjedinjenim Državama i Kanadi. Cjepivo se u Europskoj uniji već koristi za one u dobi od 16 godina i starije.
Sad je na pojedinim državama EU-a da odluče hoće li i kada ponuditi cjepivo tinejdžerima.
Ravnatelj HZJZ-a Krunoslav Capak danas je kazao kako djeca trenutno nisu prioritet, no da će i ona doći na red za cijepljenje.
"Sva djeca starija od 12 godina mogu se cijepiti Pfizerom, ali u ovom trenutku djeca nisu prioritet, izuzev onih koji imaju neku kroničnu bolest. Prioritet nam je radno aktivno stanovništvo, a nakon toga ćemo cijepiti i djecu", istaknuo je Capak.

Nakon što je jučer EMA odobrila da se Pfizerom mogu cijepiti djeca starija od 12 godina, HALMED je danas također izdao priopćenje.
"Povjerenstvo za humane lijekove (CHMP) pri EMA-i preporučilo je proširenje indikacije za primjenu cjepiva Comirnaty proizvođača BioNTech i Pfizer u djece u dobi između 12 i 15 godina. Cjepivo Comirnaty od ranije je odobreno za prevenciju bolesti COVID-19 u odraslih osoba i adolescenata u dobi od 16 i više godina. Cjepivo Comirnaty primjenjuje se u djece u dobi od 12 do 15 godina jednako kao u odraslih osoba i adolescenata u dobi od 16 i više godina. Primjenjuje se u dvije doze putem injekcije u mišić nadlaktice, uz vremenski razmak od tri tjedna između doza. Učinci cjepiva ispitani su u 2.260 osoba u dobi između 12 i 15 godina, u skladu s planom pedijatrijskog ispitivanja (engl. paediatric investigation plan, PIP) koji je odobrilo Povjerenstvo za pedijatriju (PDCO) pri EMA-i – naveli su iz HALMED-a.
