Ruske snage stežu svoju ofenzivu oko Bahmuta pokušavajući nakon višemjesečne opsade posve okružiti mali rudarski grad, dok kiša i rano proljetno otapanje pretvaraju bojna polja istočne Ukrajine u blato.

Proljetno topljenje, poznato kao "rasputica", ima dugu povijest uništavanja ratnih planova mnogih vojski u Ukrajini i zapadnoj Rusiji, jer pretvara ceste u rijeke, a polja u neprohodne močvare. No, usprkos raskvašenom terenu trenutna situacija oko Bahmuta po ukrajinsku obranu sve je teža. U noćašnjoj objavi potvrdio je to i sam ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenski.

„Neprijatelj neprestano uništava sve što se može koristiti za zaštitu naših položaja, naše snage pravi su heroji” – istaknuo je Zelenski. Poručio je i da su ukrajinskoj vojsci pokušaji osiguravanja čvršćeg uporišta iz kojih bi konsolidirali obranu grada umnogome kompromitirani stalnim ponavljanjem ruskih napada. Apelirao je i još jednom na Zapad da ubrza slanje Ukrajini modernih borbenih zrakoplova, kako bi se cijeli teritorij zemlje mogao efikasnije obraniti od ruskog terora.

Putinova vojska, u kojoj prednjači plaćenička Wagner grupa Jevgenija Prigožina, bezuspješno pokušava ovladati Bahmutom već dulje od šest mjeseci. Usprkos strahotnim gubicima u ljudstvu – za oko sto metara napredovanja u prosjeku im bude izbačeno iz stroja oko 2000 ljudi – nikako ne posustaju u pritiscima. Ovladavanje Bahmutom Moskvi bi bio prvi opipljiviji ratni trofej u Ukrajini nakon više od pola godine, zato nemilosrdni napadi ne jenjavaju usprkos jako dugim kompozicijama ruskih leševa.

Separatistički prvak samoproglašene ‘Narodne Republike Donjeck‘ Denis Pušilin objavio je također da su „praktički sve ulazne ceste u grad Bahmut pod ruskom vatrenom kontrolom”, prenio je BBC. Moskva je u ponedjeljak poručila da je uništila ukrajinsko skladište streljiva u blizini Bahmuta i oborila rakete američke proizvodnje i ukrajinske bespilotne letjelice, no ta izvješća nisu provjerena.

Zapovjednik ukrajinskih kopnenih snaga, general pukovnik Oleksandr Sirski, potvrdio je da je situacija oko Bahmuta "ekstremno napeta".„Unatoč značajnim gubicima, neprijatelj je ubacio u napad najspremnije jurišne jedinice Wagner grupe koje sustavno pokušavaju probiti obranu naših trupa i okružiti grad”, objasnio je general Sirski.

Situacija oko Bahmuta se po ukrajinsku obranu dodatno zakomplicirala baš u trenutku nenajavljenog boravka američke ministrice financija Janet Yellen u Kijevu. Ona je u ukrajinski glavni grad doputovala samo sedam dana nakon američkog predsjednika Joea Bidena, te najavila najnoviji transfer od 1,25 milijardi dolara gospodarske i proračunske pomoći Ukrajini.

Govoreći za CNN, Janet Yellen je izjavila da je sposobnost Rusije da obnovi vojnu opremu uništenu u napadima na Ukrajinu dugoročno ugrožena, te da bi bilo kakav pokušaj Kine da im pomogne u tome doveo do ‘teških posljedica‘.

„Bili smo vrlo rezolutni u tvrdnji da nećemo tolerirati sustavno kršenje sankcija koje smo uveli Rusiji od bilo koje zemlje, pogotovo onih sankcija koje imaju za cilj lišiti Rusiju pristupa vojnoj opremi za nastavak ovoga rata”, rekla je Yellen. Dodala je i kako su kineskoj vladi, tvrtkama i financijskim institucijama jasno dali do znanja da bi posljedice kršenja takvih sankcija bile vrlo teške.

Upozorenje se nadovezuje na tvrdnje američkog državnog tajnika Antonyja Blinkena koji je nedavno objavio da Kina razmatra isporuku oružja i streljiva, odnosno ‘smrtonosne pomoći‘ Ruskoj Federaciji. Peking je odbacio te optužbe, no sastanak glavnog kineskog diplomata Wang Yija i Vladimira Putina u Moskvi prošlog tjedna mnogima se činio bjelodanim pokazateljem produbljivanja rusko-kineskih odnosa na štetu Ukrajine.

I Putinov odani saveznik, bjeloruski predsjednik Aleksandar Lukašenko, danas je započeo trodnevnu turneju po Kini tijekom koje bi se trebao sastati i s prvim čovjekom zemlje Xi Jinpingom. Konkretizira li se kinesko-ruska ili kinesko-bjeloruska suradnja kroz javnu ili tajnu nabavku oružja i streljiva, to će označiti sasvim novu dimenziju u ukrajinskome ratu, ali nedvojbeno i u globalnoj arhitekturi aktualnoga svjetskog poretka.

Ruske snage stežu svoju ofenzivu oko Bahmuta pokušavajući nakon višemjesečne opsade posve okružiti mali rudarski grad, dok kiša i rano proljetno otapanje pretvaraju bojna polja istočne Ukrajine u blato.

Proljetno topljenje, poznato kao "rasputica", ima dugu povijest uništavanja ratnih planova mnogih vojski u Ukrajini i zapadnoj Rusiji, jer pretvara ceste u rijeke, a polja u neprohodne močvare. No, usprkos raskvašenom terenu trenutna situacija oko Bahmuta po ukrajinsku obranu sve je teža. U noćašnjoj objavi potvrdio je to i sam ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenski.

„Neprijatelj neprestano uništava sve što se može koristiti za zaštitu naših položaja, naše snage pravi su heroji” – istaknuo je Zelenski. Poručio je i da su ukrajinskoj vojsci pokušaji osiguravanja čvršćeg uporišta iz kojih bi konsolidirali obranu grada umnogome kompromitirani stalnim ponavljanjem ruskih napada. Apelirao je i još jednom na Zapad da ubrza slanje Ukrajini modernih borbenih zrakoplova, kako bi se cijeli teritorij zemlje mogao efikasnije obraniti od ruskog terora.

Putinova vojska, u kojoj prednjači plaćenička Wagner grupa Jevgenija Prigožina, bezuspješno pokušava ovladati Bahmutom već dulje od šest mjeseci. Usprkos strahotnim gubicima u ljudstvu – za oko sto metara napredovanja u prosjeku im bude izbačeno iz stroja oko 2000 ljudi – nikako ne posustaju u pritiscima. Ovladavanje Bahmutom Moskvi bi bio prvi opipljiviji ratni trofej u Ukrajini nakon više od pola godine, zato nemilosrdni napadi ne jenjavaju usprkos jako dugim kompozicijama ruskih leševa.

Separatistički prvak samoproglašene ‘Narodne Republike Donjeck‘ Denis Pušilin objavio je također da su „praktički sve ulazne ceste u grad Bahmut pod ruskom vatrenom kontrolom”, prenio je BBC. Moskva je u ponedjeljak poručila da je uništila ukrajinsko skladište streljiva u blizini Bahmuta i oborila rakete američke proizvodnje i ukrajinske bespilotne letjelice, no ta izvješća nisu provjerena.

Zapovjednik ukrajinskih kopnenih snaga, general pukovnik Oleksandr Sirski, potvrdio je da je situacija oko Bahmuta "ekstremno napeta".„Unatoč značajnim gubicima, neprijatelj je ubacio u napad najspremnije jurišne jedinice Wagner grupe koje sustavno pokušavaju probiti obranu naših trupa i okružiti grad”, objasnio je general Sirski.

Situacija oko Bahmuta se po ukrajinsku obranu dodatno zakomplicirala baš u trenutku nenajavljenog boravka američke ministrice financija Janet Yellen u Kijevu. Ona je u ukrajinski glavni grad doputovala samo sedam dana nakon američkog predsjednika Joea Bidena, te najavila najnoviji transfer od 1,25 milijardi dolara gospodarske i proračunske pomoći Ukrajini.

Govoreći za CNN, Janet Yellen je izjavila da je sposobnost Rusije da obnovi vojnu opremu uništenu u napadima na Ukrajinu dugoročno ugrožena, te da bi bilo kakav pokušaj Kine da im pomogne u tome doveo do ‘teških posljedica‘.

„Bili smo vrlo rezolutni u tvrdnji da nećemo tolerirati sustavno kršenje sankcija koje smo uveli Rusiji od bilo koje zemlje, pogotovo onih sankcija koje imaju za cilj lišiti Rusiju pristupa vojnoj opremi za nastavak ovoga rata”, rekla je Yellen. Dodala je i kako su kineskoj vladi, tvrtkama i financijskim institucijama jasno dali do znanja da bi posljedice kršenja takvih sankcija bile vrlo teške.

Upozorenje se nadovezuje na tvrdnje američkog državnog tajnika Antonyja Blinkena koji je nedavno objavio da Kina razmatra isporuku oružja i streljiva, odnosno ‘smrtonosne pomoći‘ Ruskoj Federaciji. Peking je odbacio te optužbe, no sastanak glavnog kineskog diplomata Wang Yija i Vladimira Putina u Moskvi prošlog tjedna mnogima se činio bjelodanim pokazateljem produbljivanja rusko-kineskih odnosa na štetu Ukrajine.

I Putinov odani saveznik, bjeloruski predsjednik Aleksandar Lukašenko, danas je započeo trodnevnu turneju po Kini tijekom koje bi se trebao sastati i s prvim čovjekom zemlje Xi Jinpingom. Konkretizira li se kinesko-ruska ili kinesko-bjeloruska suradnja kroz javnu ili tajnu nabavku oružja i streljiva, to će označiti sasvim novu dimenziju u ukrajinskome ratu, ali nedvojbeno i u globalnoj arhitekturi aktualnoga svjetskog poretka.
