Ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenski u delikatnom trenutku dolazi u posjet SAD-u, na susret s predsjednikom Joeom Bidenom, piše Jutarnji list. 

Stanje na bojišnici, nakon dugo, u osvit druge godišnjice rata, prvi put nije toliko povoljno za Kijev - premda još nije alarmantno.

Nedostaje im oružja, pogotovo artiljerijske municije, a republikanska većina u Kongresu blokirala je izdašnu i potrebnu financijsku pomoć od 61,4 milijarde dolara, uvjetujući je dodatnim "utvrđivanjem" granice s Meksikom i drastičnijem onemogućavanju latinoameričkih migranata da dođu u SAD.

Crna rupa prijeti Kijevu

Zbog te situacije doći će i do rebalansa ukrajinskog proračuna, a u onom za sljedeću godinu pojavit će se, ako pomoć ne dođe, "crna rupa" od gotovo 43 milijarde dolara, što može dovesti do paralize ne samo vojske, nego i općenitog funkcioniranja Ukrajine kao države.

I američka ministrica financija Janet Yellen upozorila ja da bi "SAD mogao biti odgovoran za ratni poraz Ukrajine, odnosno ruski pobjedu ako Kongres odbije potvrditi pomoć Kijevu".

"Razgovarala sam s kongresnicima i mislim da su shvatili situaciju. Oni razumiju da je to katastrofalna situacija i da možemo biti odgovorni za poraz Ukrajine ako joj ne osiguramo neophodnu financijsku pomoć", rekla je nedavno Yellen, a direktorica Ureda za upravljanje i proračun Shalanda Young poručila je šefu Zastupničkog doma Kongresa, republikancu Michaelu Johnsonu, da će, ako Kongres do kraja godine ne odobri sredstva Kijevu, Washington ostati bez sredstava za kupnju naoružanja i tehnike za Ukrajinu. Kako je naglasila Young, prekid pomoći Ukrajini ne ugrožava samo dosadašnje uspjehe Ukrajine, nego povećava mogućnost ruske vojne pobjede.

U Kijevu svjesni drame

Šef Ureda Zelenskog Andri Jermak također je istaknuo kako obustava pomoći Ukrajini stvara rizik od mogućeg gubitka rata. I predsjednik Zelenski je, prije ovog, možda ključnog posjeta SAD-u poručio da bez vojne pomoći "ukrajinska vojska može doći u situaciju da se počne povlačiti", i to u trenutku kada je ostvarila određenu prednost na bojištu. Stoga Zelenski dolazi u Bijelu kuću kako bi ga utješili i dali mu jamstva da ih neće ostaviti na cjedilu. "Ukrajinski predsjednik je pozvan da se potvrdi nepokolebljiva podrška SAD-a Ukrajini u sukobu s Rusijom", kako je to sročila glasnogovornica Joea Bidena Karine Jean-Pierre.

Ona je još naglasila kako je za Kijev "podrška SAD-a od životne važnosti u ovom kritičnom trenutku". Zelenski i Biden će razgovarati o pomoći, isporukama i zajedničkim projektima proizvodnje oružja. Osim toga, kijevski mediji navode da Zelenskog zanima i kako će se SAD, odnosno sadašnja administracija ponašati prema Ukrajini tijekom predizborne kampanje, pogotovo jer, sada godinu dana prije izbora, Donald Trump ima određenu prednost pred Joeom Bidenom (premda treba reći da nominacije tek predstoje).

Naime, u Ukrajini ne mogu sakriti određenu uznemirenost mogućnošću da se u Bijelu kuću ponovno useli nepredvidljivi Donald Trump. No, podsjetimo da je nedavno kijevska Ukrajinska pravda, pozivajući se na izvore iz stožera ukrajinske vojske, navela projekciju prema kojoj za ostvarenje "pune pobjede", odnosno izbijanje na granice iz 1991. godine, a to znači oslobođenje Krima, Donbasa i trenutačno okupiranih područja na jugu zemlje, treba oružja, logistike i sredstava od oko 350 do 400 milijardi dolara.

Ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenski u delikatnom trenutku dolazi u posjet SAD-u, na susret s predsjednikom Joeom Bidenom, piše Jutarnji list. 

Stanje na bojišnici, nakon dugo, u osvit druge godišnjice rata, prvi put nije toliko povoljno za Kijev - premda još nije alarmantno.

Nedostaje im oružja, pogotovo artiljerijske municije, a republikanska većina u Kongresu blokirala je izdašnu i potrebnu financijsku pomoć od 61,4 milijarde dolara, uvjetujući je dodatnim "utvrđivanjem" granice s Meksikom i drastičnijem onemogućavanju latinoameričkih migranata da dođu u SAD.

Crna rupa prijeti Kijevu

Zbog te situacije doći će i do rebalansa ukrajinskog proračuna, a u onom za sljedeću godinu pojavit će se, ako pomoć ne dođe, "crna rupa" od gotovo 43 milijarde dolara, što može dovesti do paralize ne samo vojske, nego i općenitog funkcioniranja Ukrajine kao države.

I američka ministrica financija Janet Yellen upozorila ja da bi "SAD mogao biti odgovoran za ratni poraz Ukrajine, odnosno ruski pobjedu ako Kongres odbije potvrditi pomoć Kijevu".

"Razgovarala sam s kongresnicima i mislim da su shvatili situaciju. Oni razumiju da je to katastrofalna situacija i da možemo biti odgovorni za poraz Ukrajine ako joj ne osiguramo neophodnu financijsku pomoć", rekla je nedavno Yellen, a direktorica Ureda za upravljanje i proračun Shalanda Young poručila je šefu Zastupničkog doma Kongresa, republikancu Michaelu Johnsonu, da će, ako Kongres do kraja godine ne odobri sredstva Kijevu, Washington ostati bez sredstava za kupnju naoružanja i tehnike za Ukrajinu. Kako je naglasila Young, prekid pomoći Ukrajini ne ugrožava samo dosadašnje uspjehe Ukrajine, nego povećava mogućnost ruske vojne pobjede.

U Kijevu svjesni drame

Šef Ureda Zelenskog Andri Jermak također je istaknuo kako obustava pomoći Ukrajini stvara rizik od mogućeg gubitka rata. I predsjednik Zelenski je, prije ovog, možda ključnog posjeta SAD-u poručio da bez vojne pomoći "ukrajinska vojska može doći u situaciju da se počne povlačiti", i to u trenutku kada je ostvarila određenu prednost na bojištu. Stoga Zelenski dolazi u Bijelu kuću kako bi ga utješili i dali mu jamstva da ih neće ostaviti na cjedilu. "Ukrajinski predsjednik je pozvan da se potvrdi nepokolebljiva podrška SAD-a Ukrajini u sukobu s Rusijom", kako je to sročila glasnogovornica Joea Bidena Karine Jean-Pierre.

Ona je još naglasila kako je za Kijev "podrška SAD-a od životne važnosti u ovom kritičnom trenutku". Zelenski i Biden će razgovarati o pomoći, isporukama i zajedničkim projektima proizvodnje oružja. Osim toga, kijevski mediji navode da Zelenskog zanima i kako će se SAD, odnosno sadašnja administracija ponašati prema Ukrajini tijekom predizborne kampanje, pogotovo jer, sada godinu dana prije izbora, Donald Trump ima određenu prednost pred Joeom Bidenom (premda treba reći da nominacije tek predstoje).

Naime, u Ukrajini ne mogu sakriti određenu uznemirenost mogućnošću da se u Bijelu kuću ponovno useli nepredvidljivi Donald Trump. No, podsjetimo da je nedavno kijevska Ukrajinska pravda, pozivajući se na izvore iz stožera ukrajinske vojske, navela projekciju prema kojoj za ostvarenje "pune pobjede", odnosno izbijanje na granice iz 1991. godine, a to znači oslobođenje Krima, Donbasa i trenutačno okupiranih područja na jugu zemlje, treba oružja, logistike i sredstava od oko 350 do 400 milijardi dolara.
