U Toyoti nisu sretni kada na snimci vide pripadnike nedemokratskih pokreta kako voze njihove automobile.

S jedne strane to govori o izdržljivosti pick-up terenaca te marke, a s druge uz to uvijek ide i negativna promocija.

Ulazak talibana u afganistanski glavni grad Kabul prošao je s galerijom raznih Toyota, pick-upova poput Hiluxa, ili terenaca, Land Cruisera… Vozila su dovoljno robusna za afganistanski teren i imaju dobre klima-uređaje koji se mogu nositi s vrućinama. No pitanje je kako su se talibani dočepali Toyota kad u Afganistanu nema ni jednog predstavništva i trgovine te tvrtke, a pogotovo nema prodaje u nepristupačnim planinskim vrletima gdje su se gerilci utaborili?

Pratiti načine na koje te skupine kupuju Toyote nije bilo lako. Primjerice 2015. američki State Department morao je zatražiti Toyotinu pomoć kako bi utvrdio kako ISIS kupuje nova vozila. Toyota je tada odgovorila da im je, iako njihova politika zabranjuje prodaju "kupcima koji ih mogu koristiti ili preinačiti za paravojne ili terorističke aktivnosti", bilo teško ući u trag ukradenim ili preprodanim vozilima.

Revija HAK  spominje primjer iz povijesti. Kada su talibani zauzeli Kabul 1996. godine, paradirali su s Toyotinim pick-upovima, koji su krijumčareni preko Pakistana. New York Times je opisao tu prevaru vrijednu milijardu dolara koja je uključivala korumpirane uvoznike u Pakistanu. Oni su u tisućama primjeraka naručivali pick-upove iz Dubaija i Kuvajta, a tijekom tranzita kroz Afganistan ih izgubili jer su tobože pali s kamiona prijevoznika. Naravno, to je bio izgovor, ali vozila su isporučena talibanima. Bio je to unosan posao koji je Talibanima omogućio kupnju vrlo jeftinih, kvalitetnih kamiona, pa nije ni čudo što ih nikada nisu prestali voziti.

Zbog ovakvih događaja Toyota od vlasnika novog Land Cruisera traži da svoje vozilo ne prodaju i ne izvoze godinu dana nakon kupnje, navodi HAK-ova revija.

U Toyoti nisu sretni kada na snimci vide pripadnike nedemokratskih pokreta kako voze njihove automobile.

S jedne strane to govori o izdržljivosti pick-up terenaca te marke, a s druge uz to uvijek ide i negativna promocija.

Ulazak talibana u afganistanski glavni grad Kabul prošao je s galerijom raznih Toyota, pick-upova poput Hiluxa, ili terenaca, Land Cruisera… Vozila su dovoljno robusna za afganistanski teren i imaju dobre klima-uređaje koji se mogu nositi s vrućinama. No pitanje je kako su se talibani dočepali Toyota kad u Afganistanu nema ni jednog predstavništva i trgovine te tvrtke, a pogotovo nema prodaje u nepristupačnim planinskim vrletima gdje su se gerilci utaborili?

Pratiti načine na koje te skupine kupuju Toyote nije bilo lako. Primjerice 2015. američki State Department morao je zatražiti Toyotinu pomoć kako bi utvrdio kako ISIS kupuje nova vozila. Toyota je tada odgovorila da im je, iako njihova politika zabranjuje prodaju "kupcima koji ih mogu koristiti ili preinačiti za paravojne ili terorističke aktivnosti", bilo teško ući u trag ukradenim ili preprodanim vozilima.

Revija HAK  spominje primjer iz povijesti. Kada su talibani zauzeli Kabul 1996. godine, paradirali su s Toyotinim pick-upovima, koji su krijumčareni preko Pakistana. New York Times je opisao tu prevaru vrijednu milijardu dolara koja je uključivala korumpirane uvoznike u Pakistanu. Oni su u tisućama primjeraka naručivali pick-upove iz Dubaija i Kuvajta, a tijekom tranzita kroz Afganistan ih izgubili jer su tobože pali s kamiona prijevoznika. Naravno, to je bio izgovor, ali vozila su isporučena talibanima. Bio je to unosan posao koji je Talibanima omogućio kupnju vrlo jeftinih, kvalitetnih kamiona, pa nije ni čudo što ih nikada nisu prestali voziti.

Zbog ovakvih događaja Toyota od vlasnika novog Land Cruisera traži da svoje vozilo ne prodaju i ne izvoze godinu dana nakon kupnje, navodi HAK-ova revija.

U Afganistanu nema auto-zastupnika i salona: znate li kako su se talibani onda dočepali skupocjenih Toyota?

U Toyoti nisu sretni kada na snimci vide pripadnike nedemokratskih pokreta kako voze njihove automobile.

S jedne strane to govori o izdržljivosti pick-up terenaca te marke, a s druge uz to uvijek ide i negativna promocija.

Ulazak talibana u afganistanski glavni grad Kabul prošao je s galerijom raznih Toyota, pick-upova poput Hiluxa, ili terenaca, Land Cruisera… Vozila su dovoljno robusna za afganistanski teren i imaju dobre klima-uređaje koji se mogu nositi s vrućinama. No pitanje je kako su se talibani dočepali Toyota kad u Afganistanu nema ni jednog predstavništva i trgovine te tvrtke, a pogotovo nema prodaje u nepristupačnim planinskim vrletima gdje su se gerilci utaborili?
