Danac kojeg je mačka ugrizla za prst prije četiri godine umro je nakon što se zarazio bakterijom koja ‘jede ljudsko meso‘.
Henrik Kriegbaum Plettner udomio je mačku i njezine mačiće iz azila 2018. godine i tada ga je jedna od njih ugrizla za kažiprst. U roku od nekoliko sati njegova je ruka otekla za duplo. Nazvao je liječnika no rečeno mu je da pričeka do idućeg dana. Na kraju je završio u bolnici gdje je ostao narednih mjesec dana tijekom kojih je morao na 15 operacija, piše Jutarnji list.
No četiri mjeseca nakon zadnje operacije prst mu još uvijek nije funkcionirao kako treba i liječnici su odlučili da će ga amputirati.
Unatoč tome, 33-godišnjakovo zdravlje se počelo srozavati, a njegova majka kazala je za lokalne medije kako mu je imunitet bio oslabljen, dobio je upalu pluća, giht i dijabetes.
‘Mačka ga je ugrizla za krvnu žilu i bakterija se raširila krvlju‘, objasnila je.
Infekcije tkiva nakon ugriza mačke često su uzrokovane bakterijom Pasteurella multocida. U određenim slučajevima to može voditi do rijetke bakterijske infekcije pod nazivom nekrotizirajući fasciitis koja može biti fatalna.
Plettnerova obitelj kazala je kako je umro u listopadu, no kako su sada s time odlučili izaći u javnost kako bi druge upozorili da ugrize mačaka shvate ozbiljno.

Danac kojeg je mačka ugrizla za prst prije četiri godine umro je nakon što se zarazio bakterijom koja ‘jede ljudsko meso‘.
Henrik Kriegbaum Plettner udomio je mačku i njezine mačiće iz azila 2018. godine i tada ga je jedna od njih ugrizla za kažiprst. U roku od nekoliko sati njegova je ruka otekla za duplo. Nazvao je liječnika no rečeno mu je da pričeka do idućeg dana. Na kraju je završio u bolnici gdje je ostao narednih mjesec dana tijekom kojih je morao na 15 operacija, piše Jutarnji list.
No četiri mjeseca nakon zadnje operacije prst mu još uvijek nije funkcionirao kako treba i liječnici su odlučili da će ga amputirati.
Unatoč tome, 33-godišnjakovo zdravlje se počelo srozavati, a njegova majka kazala je za lokalne medije kako mu je imunitet bio oslabljen, dobio je upalu pluća, giht i dijabetes.
‘Mačka ga je ugrizla za krvnu žilu i bakterija se raširila krvlju‘, objasnila je.
Infekcije tkiva nakon ugriza mačke često su uzrokovane bakterijom Pasteurella multocida. U određenim slučajevima to može voditi do rijetke bakterijske infekcije pod nazivom nekrotizirajući fasciitis koja može biti fatalna.
Plettnerova obitelj kazala je kako je umro u listopadu, no kako su sada s time odlučili izaći u javnost kako bi druge upozorili da ugrize mačaka shvate ozbiljno.

‘Idite odmah kod doktora, nemojte misliti ‘ma to je samo mačka‘. Nemojte riskirati‘, napomenula je.
