Zamislite zemlju u kojoj je zabranjen crveni ruž.

U kojoj se zbog maskare završi u logoru. A zbog pudera na stupu srama.

Mislite da takva država ne postoji?

Loša vijest je da niste u pravu. Ona dobra jest da upravo ta ženska šminka polako ali sigurno postaje oružje borbe protiv jednog od najbrutalnijih režima u povijesti ljudske civilizacije.

Onog koji 60 godina ognjem i mačem vlada Sjevernom Korejom.

Rigidni komunizam u tom dijelu svijeta svojim podanicama strogo zabranjuje bilo kakvo uljepšavanje. Kosa ne smije biti raspuštena, nego asketski vezana u rep. Ruž može biti samo nježno rozi. Nikako ne crveni, budući da režim crvenu boju smatra simbolom kapitalizma. Zabranjeno je prstenje i narukvice. Pramenovi u kosi. Mini suknje. Uske traperice.

Vlasti propisuju i frizure koje građani smiju imati. Po petnaestak verzija za žene i petnaestak za muškarce.

Na svim većim raskrižjima nalaze se pripadnici "Gyuchaldae", sjevernokorejske modne policije. I provjeravaju pridržava li se radnička klasa propisanih pravila.

Kazne za „nemoralno“ ponašanje i „opasno prljanje dekadentnim kapitalizmom“, kako se u tamošnjoj javnosti nazivaju ovi prekršaji variraju od novčanih. Do slanja na preodgoj u radne logore.

No, u čitavom sustavu dogodio se jedan bug.

Mladi, posebno oni u gradovima, sve teže prihvaćaju takva puritanska pravila.

Generacija „Milenijaca“ stasala tijekom razdoblja Velike gladi, kada je postalo jasno da režim ne može osigurati osnovne uvjete za život, gledala je svoje roditelje kako na crnom tržištu nabavljaju rižu kako bi prehranili obitelj.

Velika glad je prošla, no pijace – u  Sjevernoj Koreji ih zovu Jangmadang - su ostale.

Na njima i dalje ima riže. Ali i pregršt zabranjene robe. USB stikova sa južnokorejskim TV serijama, primjerice. Najviše ih kupuju mladi. Kući ih kriomice gledaju. I sve se teže uspijevaju othrvati porivu da se počnu odijevati, šišati i šminkati kao njihovi TV junaci  iz Južne Koreje.

Sociolozi na zapadu već su ih prozvali "Jangmadang generacijom".

Oni na tržnicama nabavljaju švercanu kozmetiku iz Južne Koreje. Majice sa otisnutim porukama na engleskom. Magazine za mlade. Naušnice i ostale „đinđe“.

Gradom hodaju po manje prometnim ulicama, kako bi izbjegli patrole modne policije. Sve više uvjereni da je ljepota – ili potraga za njom – zapravo simbol slobode.

Ono što su svojedobno za Sovjetski Savez bili rock hitovi Valerija Kipelova, za DDR nošenje majice „Metallice“ ili „Seks Pistolsa“, a za Čehoslovačku kupovanje najlonki prošvercanih sa zapada, za Sjevernu Koreju mogao bi postati – crveni ruž.

Zašto onda u startu šminki odricati pravo da promjeni svijet.

Zamislite zemlju u kojoj je zabranjen crveni ruž.

U kojoj se zbog maskare završi u logoru. A zbog pudera na stupu srama.

Mislite da takva država ne postoji?

Loša vijest je da niste u pravu. Ona dobra jest da upravo ta ženska šminka polako ali sigurno postaje oružje borbe protiv jednog od najbrutalnijih režima u povijesti ljudske civilizacije.

Onog koji 60 godina ognjem i mačem vlada Sjevernom Korejom.

Rigidni komunizam u tom dijelu svijeta svojim podanicama strogo zabranjuje bilo kakvo uljepšavanje. Kosa ne smije biti raspuštena, nego asketski vezana u rep. Ruž može biti samo nježno rozi. Nikako ne crveni, budući da režim crvenu boju smatra simbolom kapitalizma. Zabranjeno je prstenje i narukvice. Pramenovi u kosi. Mini suknje. Uske traperice.

Vlasti propisuju i frizure koje građani smiju imati. Po petnaestak verzija za žene i petnaestak za muškarce.

Na svim većim raskrižjima nalaze se pripadnici "Gyuchaldae", sjevernokorejske modne policije. I provjeravaju pridržava li se radnička klasa propisanih pravila.

Kazne za „nemoralno“ ponašanje i „opasno prljanje dekadentnim kapitalizmom“, kako se u tamošnjoj javnosti nazivaju ovi prekršaji variraju od novčanih. Do slanja na preodgoj u radne logore.

No, u čitavom sustavu dogodio se jedan bug.

Mladi, posebno oni u gradovima, sve teže prihvaćaju takva puritanska pravila.

Generacija „Milenijaca“ stasala tijekom razdoblja Velike gladi, kada je postalo jasno da režim ne može osigurati osnovne uvjete za život, gledala je svoje roditelje kako na crnom tržištu nabavljaju rižu kako bi prehranili obitelj.

Velika glad je prošla, no pijace – u  Sjevernoj Koreji ih zovu Jangmadang - su ostale.

Na njima i dalje ima riže. Ali i pregršt zabranjene robe. USB stikova sa južnokorejskim TV serijama, primjerice. Najviše ih kupuju mladi. Kući ih kriomice gledaju. I sve se teže uspijevaju othrvati porivu da se počnu odijevati, šišati i šminkati kao njihovi TV junaci  iz Južne Koreje.

Sociolozi na zapadu već su ih prozvali "Jangmadang generacijom".

Oni na tržnicama nabavljaju švercanu kozmetiku iz Južne Koreje. Majice sa otisnutim porukama na engleskom. Magazine za mlade. Naušnice i ostale „đinđe“.

Gradom hodaju po manje prometnim ulicama, kako bi izbjegli patrole modne policije. Sve više uvjereni da je ljepota – ili potraga za njom – zapravo simbol slobode.

Ono što su svojedobno za Sovjetski Savez bili rock hitovi Valerija Kipelova, za DDR nošenje majice „Metallice“ ili „Seks Pistolsa“, a za Čehoslovačku kupovanje najlonki prošvercanih sa zapada, za Sjevernu Koreju mogao bi postati – crveni ruž.

U zemlji Kim Jong Una dosad su i najluđe stvari bile moguće.

Zašto onda u startu šminki odricati pravo da promjeni svijet.

Zamislite zemlju u kojoj je zabranjen crveni ruž.

U kojoj se zbog maskare završi u logoru. A zbog pudera na stupu srama.

Mislite da takva država ne postoji?

Loša vijest je da niste u pravu. Ona dobra jest da upravo ta ženska šminka polako ali sigurno postaje oružje borbe protiv jednog od najbrutalnijih režima u povijesti ljudske civilizacije.

Onog koji 60 godina ognjem i mačem vlada Sjevernom Korejom.

Rigidni komunizam u tom dijelu svijeta svojim podanicama strogo zabranjuje bilo kakvo uljepšavanje. Kosa ne smije biti raspuštena, nego asketski vezana u rep. Ruž može biti samo nježno rozi. Nikako ne crveni, budući da režim crvenu boju smatra simbolom kapitalizma. Zabranjeno je prstenje i narukvice. Pramenovi u kosi. Mini suknje. Uske traperice.
