Gotovo dvomjesečni štrajk glađu u kojem je sudjelovalo više od 400 migranata bez odgovarajućih dokumenata, koji su tražili pravni status u Belgiji, završen je u srijedu nakon postizanja sporazuma s vladom.

Sastanci između predstavnika vlade i štrajkaša i vlade doveli su do postizanja sporazuma, objavila je novinska agencija Belga.

Međutim, nejasno je jesu li svi ljudi koji su štrajkali glađu sada zapravo spremni ponovno uzimati hranu, dodaje Belga.

Od 23. svibnja oko 450 ilegalnih migranata, smještenih u crkvi i zgradama briselskog sveučilišta, odbija uzimati hranu u nastojanju da uvjere vladu da im dade dozvolu boravka.

Od četvrtka će svaki štrajkaš biti informiran o vlastitim opcijama u vezi s boravišnom dozvolom, navode mediji.

Nakon što je 300 migranata objavilo da su također počeli odbijati vodu, organizacija Liječnici svijeta upozorila je da je smrt moguća "u bilo kojem trenutku".

Otprilike 150 tisuća migranata bez odgovarajućih dokumenata živi u Belgiji i izloženi su eksploataciji na tržištu rada i u građevinarstvu, poručili su prošloga tjedna stručnjaci UN-a.

Gotovo dvomjesečni štrajk glađu u kojem je sudjelovalo više od 400 migranata bez odgovarajućih dokumenata, koji su tražili pravni status u Belgiji, završen je u srijedu nakon postizanja sporazuma s vladom.

Sastanci između predstavnika vlade i štrajkaša i vlade doveli su do postizanja sporazuma, objavila je novinska agencija Belga.

Međutim, nejasno je jesu li svi ljudi koji su štrajkali glađu sada zapravo spremni ponovno uzimati hranu, dodaje Belga.

Od 23. svibnja oko 450 ilegalnih migranata, smještenih u crkvi i zgradama briselskog sveučilišta, odbija uzimati hranu u nastojanju da uvjere vladu da im dade dozvolu boravka.

Od četvrtka će svaki štrajkaš biti informiran o vlastitim opcijama u vezi s boravišnom dozvolom, navode mediji.

Nakon što je 300 migranata objavilo da su također počeli odbijati vodu, organizacija Liječnici svijeta upozorila je da je smrt moguća "u bilo kojem trenutku".

Otprilike 150 tisuća migranata bez odgovarajućih dokumenata živi u Belgiji i izloženi su eksploataciji na tržištu rada i u građevinarstvu, poručili su prošloga tjedna stručnjaci UN-a.

Migranti u Belgiji koji su u zemlju ušli bez dokumenata završili dvomjesečni štrajk glađu

Gotovo dvomjesečni štrajk glađu u kojem je sudjelovalo više od 400 migranata bez odgovarajućih dokumenata, koji su tražili pravni status u Belgiji, završen je u srijedu nakon postizanja sporazuma s vladom.

Sastanci između predstavnika vlade i štrajkaša i vlade doveli su do postizanja sporazuma, objavila je novinska agencija Belga.

Međutim, nejasno je jesu li svi ljudi koji su štrajkali glađu sada zapravo spremni ponovno uzimati hranu, dodaje Belga.

Od 23. svibnja oko 450 ilegalnih migranata, smještenih u crkvi i zgradama briselskog sveučilišta, odbija uzimati hranu u nastojanju da uvjere vladu da im dade dozvolu boravka.

Od četvrtka će svaki štrajkaš biti informiran o vlastitim opcijama u vezi s boravišnom dozvolom, navode mediji.
