Naime, pijavica se pojavila tijekom dana i u kombinaciji s visokom temperaturom i vlagom formirala vrtlog između “olujnog oblaka” i površine mora, piše Jutarnji.hr. Glavni uzrok ove pojave je velika temperaturna razlika između vodenih površina i gornjih slojeva atmosfere.

Iako su slabije od tornada, pijavice imaju brzinu vjetra veću od 100 kilometara na sat, no kada stignu na kopno, rasprše se. Većina vodenih pijavica opažena je u blizini tropskih krajeva, a rjeđe u srednjim geografskim širinama.

Impresivna, no istovremeno i zastrašujuća vodena pijavica stvorila se u nedjelju ujutro blizu obale poluotoka Halkidiki u Grčkoj, piše keeptalkinggreece.com, a prenosi Jutarnji.hr.

Turisti na plaži Xenia, kod sela Paliouri na jugu poluotoka, odmah su zgrabili svoje mobitele kako bi snimili spektakularni prizor, a snimke su se vrlo brzo proširile društvenim mrežama.

Naime, pijavica se pojavila tijekom dana i u kombinaciji s visokom temperaturom i vlagom formirala vrtlog između “olujnog oblaka” i površine mora, piše Jutarnji.hr. Glavni uzrok ove pojave je velika temperaturna razlika između vodenih površina i gornjih slojeva atmosfere.

Iako su slabije od tornada, pijavice imaju brzinu vjetra veću od 100 kilometara na sat, no kada stignu na kopno, rasprše se. Većina vodenih pijavica opažena je u blizini tropskih krajeva, a rjeđe u srednjim geografskim širinama.

Impresivna, no istovremeno i zastrašujuća vodena pijavica stvorila se u nedjelju ujutro blizu obale poluotoka Halkidiki u Grčkoj, piše keeptalkinggreece.com, a prenosi Jutarnji.hr.

Turisti na plaži Xenia, kod sela Paliouri na jugu poluotoka, odmah su zgrabili svoje mobitele kako bi snimili spektakularni prizor, a snimke su se vrlo brzo proširile društvenim mrežama.

Naime, pijavica se pojavila tijekom dana i u kombinaciji s visokom temperaturom i vlagom formirala vrtlog između “olujnog oblaka” i površine mora, piše Jutarnji.hr. Glavni uzrok ove pojave je velika temperaturna razlika između vodenih površina i gornjih slojeva atmosfere.
