Zračni napadi pljuštali su po gusto naseljenom Pojasu Gaze. Prijetnja od prelaska izraelskih tenkova preko granice u kopnenoj invaziji vrlo je stvarna.

U eskalirajućem i smrtonosnom sukobu dvije strane s vrlo različitim vojnim sposobnostima sukobljavaju se u borbi koja je ostavila više od tisuću mrtvih. Izraelska je konvencionalnija vojska usporediva s američkom ili britanskom, uz razliku da ona provodi novačenje, dok je Hamas vrlo dobro naoružana gerilska organizacija.

Izraelska vojska ima velik broj tenkova i oklopnih vozila jer oni čine “stvarnu razliku” kada prelaze granice s drugim teritorijima, rekao je profesor Michael Clarke za Sky News.

Njihov tenk Merkava sličan je njemačkom bojnom tenku Leopard 2 koji je postao poznat po upotrebi u Ukrajini. Dizajniran i proizveden u Izraelu, tenk ima teški prednji oklop kako bi pružio maksimalnu zaštitu za svoju četveročlanu posadu i naoružan je glavnim topom od 120 mm, kao i sekundarnim naoružanjem.

Što se tiče zračnih snaga, izraelska vojska koristi vlastite borbene zrakoplove Kfir – višenamjenske ratne zrakoplove temeljene na zrakoplovu Mirage francuske proizvodnje. Zračne snage također imaju niz naprednih mlažnjaka F-35 Lightning II nabavljenih iz SAD-a.

Izraelska vojska općenito je visokotehnološka i vrlo inovativna, kaže profesor Clarke, a također često koristi tehnologiju dronova. Javna tajna, kada je u pitanju Izrael, prisutnost nuklearnog oružja. “Imaju ih sigurno, 100 posto. Nijedan Izraelac nikada neće potvrditi ili demantirati”, dodao je.

Clarke kaže da izraelska vojna doktrina objašnjava korištenje nuklearnog oružja kao “konačnog sredstva odvraćanja” u situacijama u kojima se smatra da je postojanje države Izrael ugroženo od stranih sila. “Ne planiraju ih koristiti u Gazi… preblizu je”, tvrdi.

Hamas je jedna od najoružanijih gerilskih organizacija na svijetu, kaže profesor Clarke. Nedostaje mu isti tip oklopnih vozila kao Izraelu iz raznih razloga, uključujući i to što bi bio vrlo vidljiva meta za izraelske udare.

“Oni djeluju iz pomoćnih vozila poput Land Rover Discoveryja i montiraju oružje na stražnjoj strani, poput teške mitraljeze kalibra 30. One mogu biti vrlo pokretne i korištene su za poguban učinak”, rekao je.

I dok Izrael ima svoj zastrašujući sustav protuzračne obrane Iron Dome, Hamas ga je uspio zatrpati golemim brojem raketa. Koriste različite verzije balističkih projektila zemlja-zemlja iranske proizvodnje Fateh-110 koji su cestovni i mogu nositi bojeve glave težine do 500 kg.

Hamas također ima protutenkovske projektile slične američkom Stingeru. “Hamas je vrlo dobro opremljen određenim vrstama stvari i obučeni su da ih koriste”, rekao je Clarke.

Upitan koliko boraca Hamas ima, profesor je rekao da ranije procjene govore da ih ima oko 10.000, ali je dodao da “kada se osjeti nasilje, oni mogu mobilizirati puno ljudi”.

“Dakle, njihov broj može ići od 10.000 predanih Hamasovih ljudi do 40.000, 50.000”, dodao je.

Zračni napadi pljuštali su po gusto naseljenom Pojasu Gaze. Prijetnja od prelaska izraelskih tenkova preko granice u kopnenoj invaziji vrlo je stvarna.

U eskalirajućem i smrtonosnom sukobu dvije strane s vrlo različitim vojnim sposobnostima sukobljavaju se u borbi koja je ostavila više od tisuću mrtvih. Izraelska je konvencionalnija vojska usporediva s američkom ili britanskom, uz razliku da ona provodi novačenje, dok je Hamas vrlo dobro naoružana gerilska organizacija.

Izraelska vojska ima velik broj tenkova i oklopnih vozila jer oni čine “stvarnu razliku” kada prelaze granice s drugim teritorijima, rekao je profesor Michael Clarke za Sky News.

Njihov tenk Merkava sličan je njemačkom bojnom tenku Leopard 2 koji je postao poznat po upotrebi u Ukrajini. Dizajniran i proizveden u Izraelu, tenk ima teški prednji oklop kako bi pružio maksimalnu zaštitu za svoju četveročlanu posadu i naoružan je glavnim topom od 120 mm, kao i sekundarnim naoružanjem.

Što se tiče zračnih snaga, izraelska vojska koristi vlastite borbene zrakoplove Kfir – višenamjenske ratne zrakoplove temeljene na zrakoplovu Mirage francuske proizvodnje. Zračne snage također imaju niz naprednih mlažnjaka F-35 Lightning II nabavljenih iz SAD-a.

Izraelska vojska općenito je visokotehnološka i vrlo inovativna, kaže profesor Clarke, a također često koristi tehnologiju dronova. Javna tajna, kada je u pitanju Izrael, prisutnost nuklearnog oružja. “Imaju ih sigurno, 100 posto. Nijedan Izraelac nikada neće potvrditi ili demantirati”, dodao je.

Clarke kaže da izraelska vojna doktrina objašnjava korištenje nuklearnog oružja kao “konačnog sredstva odvraćanja” u situacijama u kojima se smatra da je postojanje države Izrael ugroženo od stranih sila. “Ne planiraju ih koristiti u Gazi… preblizu je”, tvrdi.

Hamas je jedna od najoružanijih gerilskih organizacija na svijetu, kaže profesor Clarke. Nedostaje mu isti tip oklopnih vozila kao Izraelu iz raznih razloga, uključujući i to što bi bio vrlo vidljiva meta za izraelske udare.

“Oni djeluju iz pomoćnih vozila poput Land Rover Discoveryja i montiraju oružje na stražnjoj strani, poput teške mitraljeze kalibra 30. One mogu biti vrlo pokretne i korištene su za poguban učinak”, rekao je.

I dok Izrael ima svoj zastrašujući sustav protuzračne obrane Iron Dome, Hamas ga je uspio zatrpati golemim brojem raketa. Koriste različite verzije balističkih projektila zemlja-zemlja iranske proizvodnje Fateh-110 koji su cestovni i mogu nositi bojeve glave težine do 500 kg.

Hamas također ima protutenkovske projektile slične američkom Stingeru. “Hamas je vrlo dobro opremljen određenim vrstama stvari i obučeni su da ih koriste”, rekao je Clarke.

Upitan koliko boraca Hamas ima, profesor je rekao da ranije procjene govore da ih ima oko 10.000, ali je dodao da “kada se osjeti nasilje, oni mogu mobilizirati puno ljudi”.

“Dakle, njihov broj može ići od 10.000 predanih Hamasovih ljudi do 40.000, 50.000”, dodao je.
