Prvog dana 2022. godine u Parmi je umro 83-godišnji Calisto Tanzi, nekadašnji vlasnik golemog Parlamata, multinacionalnog biznisa kojeg je gradio desetljećima i na kraju zbog prezaduženosti i niza prijevara odveo u bankrot 2003. godine, što je bio jedan od najvećih takvih bankrota u talijanskoj povijesti.

U Hrvatskoj se o Parmalatu uvelike pričalo 2017. godine, kada je kolabirao Agrokor, pa su hrvatske vlasti inspiraciju za pisanje lex Agrokora potražile u talijanskom tretmanu Parmalata i postupcima Enrica Bondija, izvanrednog upravitelja. Kad je na vidjelo izbilo da su poslovne knjige talijanskog poslovnog diva zapravo rupa od 14 milijardi dolara, jer su profiti i prihodi od prodaje godinama debelo preuveličavani, to se pretvorilo u dugačak niz sudskih procesa koji je uključivao i brojne banke, ali istodobno i proces spašavanja samog biznisa koji je pokrenula talijanska vlada koja je na Badnjak 2003. godine donijela poseban zakon radi proizvodnog restrukturiranja velikih insolventnih poduzeća, piše Jutarnji list.

Sam Parmalat je bio konglomerat u kojem su, osim prehrambenog biznisa, bili i sportski klubovi, turističke kompanije te televizija. O njegovu značaju dovoljno govori da je 2003., kad je došlo do kraha, to bila četvrta po veličini prehrambena industrija u Europi.

Preko 'kineskih kutija' isisao 600 milijuna eura

Tanzi, rođen 1938. godine u gradiću Collecchio, preuzeo je mali obiteljski mljekarski biznis kad je imao samo 22 godine, a na svom vrhuncu je Parmalat grupa imala 130 tvornica širom svijeta za proizvodnju mlijeka, jogurta i drugih prehrambenih proizvoda. Tanzi je umro u bolnici u Parmi od upale pluća, kako je objavila njegova obitelj.

Od izbijanja golemog skandala prošao je, kao i velik dio direktora Parmalata, niz sudskih procesa te je osuđen po nekoliko osnova na višegodišnje zatvorske kazne. Zbog starosti ih je odsluživao u kućnom pritvoru. Parmalat je ipak spašen, kao i većina kooperantskih farmi, no progutao ga je na kraju francuski Lactalis.

Kako je za Jutarnji list pisao Inoslav Bešker u vrijeme kolapsa Agrokora, Parmalat se uglavnom zaduživao preko obveznica i drugih financijskih instrumenata koje su za njega plasirale banke, uvjeravajući štediše kako im je to dobra i unosna investicija, a praktički je bilo smeće.

Carlo Tonna, dugogodišnji Parmalatov financijski direktor je na zahtjev i pod kontrolom Calista Tanzija organizirao seriju "kineskih kutija", poduzeća u fiskalnim rajevima, dijelom radi izbjegavanja poreza dijelom isključivo radi prevara jer su njihove lažne bilance služile za pokrivanje gubitaka cijele grupe i krađu imovine. Preko "kineskih kutija" je obitelj Tanzi, navela su talijanska tužilaštva, isisala 1,7 milijardi eura iz zbiljskih poduzeća grupe Parmalat, a od toga za 600 milijuna eura optužuju osobno Calista Tanzija.

Iako je bio razvlašten, Tanzi je zadržao vilu jer je bio oženjen bogatom nasljednicom te nije bilo moguće na sudu dokazati da je vila kupljena njegovim, a ne njezinim novcem. Bogatstvo je pak uvelike ulagao u umjetnine te ih skrivao po skladištima i kod prijatelja, a na njegovom popisu su bila i djela Pabla Picassa, Claudea Moneta i Vincenta van Gogha. Prvog dana 2022. godine u Parmi je umro 83-godišnji Calisto Tanzi, nekadašnji vlasnik golemog Parlamata, multinacionalnog biznisa kojeg je gradio desetljećima i na kraju zbog prezaduženosti i niza prijevara odveo u bankrot 2003. godine, što je bio jedan od najvećih takvih bankrota u talijanskoj povijesti.

U Hrvatskoj se o Parmalatu uvelike pričalo 2017. godine, kada je kolabirao Agrokor, pa su hrvatske vlasti inspiraciju za pisanje lex Agrokora potražile u talijanskom tretmanu Parmalata i postupcima Enrica Bondija, izvanrednog upravitelja. Kad je na vidjelo izbilo da su poslovne knjige talijanskog poslovnog diva zapravo rupa od 14 milijardi dolara, jer su profiti i prihodi od prodaje godinama debelo preuveličavani, to se pretvorilo u dugačak niz sudskih procesa koji je uključivao i brojne banke, ali istodobno i proces spašavanja samog biznisa koji je pokrenula talijanska vlada koja je na Badnjak 2003. godine donijela poseban zakon radi proizvodnog restrukturiranja velikih insolventnih poduzeća, piše Jutarnji list.

Sam Parmalat je bio konglomerat u kojem su, osim prehrambenog biznisa, bili i sportski klubovi, turističke kompanije te televizija. O njegovu značaju dovoljno govori da je 2003., kad je došlo do kraha, to bila četvrta po veličini prehrambena industrija u Europi.

Preko 'kineskih kutija' isisao 600 milijuna eura

Tanzi, rođen 1938. godine u gradiću Collecchio, preuzeo je mali obiteljski mljekarski biznis kad je imao samo 22 godine, a na svom vrhuncu je Parmalat grupa imala 130 tvornica širom svijeta za proizvodnju mlijeka, jogurta i drugih prehrambenih proizvoda. Tanzi je umro u bolnici u Parmi od upale pluća, kako je objavila njegova obitelj.

Od izbijanja golemog skandala prošao je, kao i velik dio direktora Parmalata, niz sudskih procesa te je osuđen po nekoliko osnova na višegodišnje zatvorske kazne. Zbog starosti ih je odsluživao u kućnom pritvoru. Parmalat je ipak spašen, kao i većina kooperantskih farmi, no progutao ga je na kraju francuski Lactalis.

Kako je za Jutarnji list pisao Inoslav Bešker u vrijeme kolapsa Agrokora, Parmalat se uglavnom zaduživao preko obveznica i drugih financijskih instrumenata koje su za njega plasirale banke, uvjeravajući štediše kako im je to dobra i unosna investicija, a praktički je bilo smeće.

Carlo Tonna, dugogodišnji Parmalatov financijski direktor je na zahtjev i pod kontrolom Calista Tanzija organizirao seriju "kineskih kutija", poduzeća u fiskalnim rajevima, dijelom radi izbjegavanja poreza dijelom isključivo radi prevara jer su njihove lažne bilance služile za pokrivanje gubitaka cijele grupe i krađu imovine. Preko "kineskih kutija" je obitelj Tanzi, navela su talijanska tužilaštva, isisala 1,7 milijardi eura iz zbiljskih poduzeća grupe Parmalat, a od toga za 600 milijuna eura optužuju osobno Calista Tanzija.

Iako je bio razvlašten, Tanzi je zadržao vilu jer je bio oženjen bogatom nasljednicom te nije bilo moguće na sudu dokazati da je vila kupljena njegovim, a ne njezinim novcem. Bogatstvo je pak uvelike ulagao u umjetnine te ih skrivao po skladištima i kod prijatelja, a na njegovom popisu su bila i djela Pabla Picassa, Claudea Moneta i Vincenta van Gogha. Kad su pronađena, kako piše Reuters, 2019. godine su prodana na aukcijama, piše Jutarnji list.
