Dok se napokon skidamo iz zimske odjeće, neki od nas su na rubu da cijelo ljeto provedu odjeveni u duge rukave i nogavice. Razlog su crvenkaste kvržice na nadlakticama, nogama i stražnjici, a svi koji su ih u barem jednom razdoblju života imali znaju kako ih se teško riješiti i kako nas znaju bacati u očaj. A takvih je puno više nego što se vjeruje jer Keratosis pilaris pogađa čak 40 odraslih. Najjednostavnije rečeno, to je začepljenje folikula dlake do kojeg dolazi jer koža stvara nakupine proteina zvanog keratin – isti je građevni materijal za kosu, kožu i nokte – a taj keratin je sklon blokirati folikulu, uzrokujući kvržice, koje se u gorim slučajevima upale, što se manifestira crvenilom. Unatoč raširenosti i povezanosti s nasljednim faktorom, još uvijek nije potpuno jasno zašto neki ljudi pate od ove pojave, poznate i kao "pureća koža", dok drugi imaju glatku kožu, no utvrđene su poveznice sa stanjima poput vrlo osjetljive kože, ekcema i atopičnog dermatitisa.
Rješenje ipak postoji, a uključuje nekoliko postupaka i preparata koji, kako to obično biva, kod nekog djeluju bolje, a kod nekog lošije, pa je najbolje iskušati ih više dok ne utvrdimo koja nam je formula najučinkovitija.
Jedna od stvari koje se preporučuju u slučaju KP-a jest redovita, ali nježna eksfolijacija. Dakle, oduprite se potrebi da sve te kvržice sastružete sa sebe grubim pilingom. Takva će tehnika pomoći tek privremeno, a može dovesti i do još jače upale. Umjesto fizičkog pilinga, bolje je koristiti posebno formulirani, fini piling za tijelo. Ribati treba nježno, a kožu odmah nakon toga hidratizirati.
Druga je opcija kemijski piling koji koristi kiseline poput glikolne, salicilne i mliječne za nježno otapanje mrtve kože. Za istu su svrhu preporučljivi i proizvodi koji sadrže ureu. Kemijski pilinzi u ordinaciji kod dermatologa, u rasponu od blagih dnevnih pilinga do jačih mjesečnih ili dvotjednih pilinga, mogu ponuditi zamjetnije rezultate, a korisnom se pokazala i primjena retinola ili retinoida na recept.
Za kontrolu ovog stanja ključna je hidratacija, i to po mogućnosti losionima i kremama koji sadrže kombinaciju ovlaživača, omekšivača i okluzivnih sastojaka. Potražite sastojke poput ceramida, shea maslaca, petrolatuma, dimetikona, glicerina i hijaluronske kiseline, a poželjno je da su na popisu sastojaka i protuupalna sredstva poput aloe i niacinamida.
Ono što je najvažnije za tretiranje ovog stanja, a mnogima je najveći izazov, jest upornost i dosljednost. Piling (ali nježni) i hidratacija su u težim slučajevima preporučljivi čak dvaput dnevno, stoga je mudra opcija nabaviti proizvode koji djeluju "2u1".

Dok se napokon skidamo iz zimske odjeće, neki od nas su na rubu da cijelo ljeto provedu odjeveni u duge rukave i nogavice. Razlog su crvenkaste kvržice na nadlakticama, nogama i stražnjici, a svi koji su ih u barem jednom razdoblju života imali znaju kako ih se teško riješiti i kako nas znaju bacati u očaj. A takvih je puno više nego što se vjeruje jer Keratosis pilaris pogađa čak 40 odraslih. Najjednostavnije rečeno, to je začepljenje folikula dlake do kojeg dolazi jer koža stvara nakupine proteina zvanog keratin – isti je građevni materijal za kosu, kožu i nokte – a taj keratin je sklon blokirati folikulu, uzrokujući kvržice, koje se u gorim slučajevima upale, što se manifestira crvenilom. Unatoč raširenosti i povezanosti s nasljednim faktorom, još uvijek nije potpuno jasno zašto neki ljudi pate od ove pojave, poznate i kao "pureća koža", dok drugi imaju glatku kožu, no utvrđene su poveznice sa stanjima poput vrlo osjetljive kože, ekcema i atopičnog dermatitisa.
Rješenje ipak postoji, a uključuje nekoliko postupaka i preparata koji, kako to obično biva, kod nekog djeluju bolje, a kod nekog lošije, pa je najbolje iskušati ih više dok ne utvrdimo koja nam je formula najučinkovitija.
Jedna od stvari koje se preporučuju u slučaju KP-a jest redovita, ali nježna eksfolijacija. Dakle, oduprite se potrebi da sve te kvržice sastružete sa sebe grubim pilingom. Takva će tehnika pomoći tek privremeno, a može dovesti i do još jače upale. Umjesto fizičkog pilinga, bolje je koristiti posebno formulirani, fini piling za tijelo. Ribati treba nježno, a kožu odmah nakon toga hidratizirati.
Druga je opcija kemijski piling koji koristi kiseline poput glikolne, salicilne i mliječne za nježno otapanje mrtve kože. Za istu su svrhu preporučljivi i proizvodi koji sadrže ureu. Kemijski pilinzi u ordinaciji kod dermatologa, u rasponu od blagih dnevnih pilinga do jačih mjesečnih ili dvotjednih pilinga, mogu ponuditi zamjetnije rezultate, a korisnom se pokazala i primjena retinola ili retinoida na recept.
Za kontrolu ovog stanja ključna je hidratacija, i to po mogućnosti losionima i kremama koji sadrže kombinaciju ovlaživača, omekšivača i okluzivnih sastojaka. Potražite sastojke poput ceramida, shea maslaca, petrolatuma, dimetikona, glicerina i hijaluronske kiseline, a poželjno je da su na popisu sastojaka i protuupalna sredstva poput aloe i niacinamida.
Ono što je najvažnije za tretiranje ovog stanja, a mnogima je najveći izazov, jest upornost i dosljednost. Piling (ali nježni) i hidratacija su u težim slučajevima preporučljivi čak dvaput dnevno, stoga je mudra opcija nabaviti proizvode koji djeluju "2u1".
