Za svoj prvi govor nakon izbora, buduća potpredsjednica Sjedinjenih Američkih Država Kamala Harris je odabrala bijelo odijelo s potpisom Caroline Herrere, satensku bluzu u pussybow stilu i bež salonke špicastog vrha. O tome su uzvijestili brojni mediji usredotočeni na modu i stil, a neki su od njih zaključili kako je ova kombinacija sjajan izbor jer je simbolikom boja i krojeva dodatno naglasio ono što je Harris osobito istaknula u svom govoru: da je prva, ali sigurno ne i posljednja žena na toj funkciji.

Bijela se boja, naime, smatra simbolom pokreta sufražetkinja, čiju stogodišnjicu osnutka obilježavamo ove godine. No, Harris nije jedina koja je na umu imala tu simboliku, jer je bijelo nosile američke zakonodavke na obraćanju State of Union 2019, odajući tako priznanje sufražetkinjama te ujedno tiho prosvjedujući protiv politike Trumpove administracije. Bijelo odijelo više je puta za vrijeme svoje predsjedničke utrke nosila Hillary Clinton učinivši ga simbolom modernog feminizma.

Koliko je šira javnost prepoznala ovu simboliku nije nam poznato, no Harrisičin izbor dobio je niz pohvala na društvenim mrežama. Jedna koja se oglasila tim putem je i povjesničarka mode i spisateljica Shelby Ivey Christie koja je na svom Twitteru istaknula da se u zajednici Afroamerikanaca "jednobojno odijevanje smatra obilježjem proslave" objašnjavajući da je na ovaj način Kamala pokazala i da poštuje svoje kulturno naslijeđe.

I bluza s pussy mašnicom smatra se znakovitom, a Harris ju je nosila na saslušanju Amy Coney Barrett, Trumpove kandidatkinje za sutkinju Vrhovnog suda. U to vrijeme ta je bluza shvaćena kao poruka Trumpu jer je Melania nosila vrlo silčnu nakon što su procurile snimke u aferi Access Hollywood, na kojima se čuje kako se američki predsjednik hvali seksualnim zlostavljanjem: "Niti ne čekam, kad si zvijezda, dopuste ti to. Možeš učiniti bilo što, uhvatiti ih za p..ku". Kako se u engleskom slengu p..ka naziva pussy, Kamalin izbor pussybow bluze shvaćen je kao suptilna, ali jasna poruka kompromitiranom predsjedniku.

Za svoj prvi govor nakon izbora, buduća potpredsjednica Sjedinjenih Američkih Država Kamala Harris je odabrala bijelo odijelo s potpisom Caroline Herrere, satensku bluzu u pussybow stilu i bež salonke špicastog vrha. O tome su uzvijestili brojni mediji usredotočeni na modu i stil, a neki su od njih zaključili kako je ova kombinacija sjajan izbor jer je simbolikom boja i krojeva dodatno naglasio ono što je Harris osobito istaknula u svom govoru: da je prva, ali sigurno ne i posljednja žena na toj funkciji.

Bijela se boja, naime, smatra simbolom pokreta sufražetkinja, čiju stogodišnjicu osnutka obilježavamo ove godine. No, Harris nije jedina koja je na umu imala tu simboliku, jer je bijelo nosile američke zakonodavke na obraćanju State of Union 2019, odajući tako priznanje sufražetkinjama te ujedno tiho prosvjedujući protiv politike Trumpove administracije. Bijelo odijelo više je puta za vrijeme svoje predsjedničke utrke nosila Hillary Clinton učinivši ga simbolom modernog feminizma.

Koliko je šira javnost prepoznala ovu simboliku nije nam poznato, no Harrisičin izbor dobio je niz pohvala na društvenim mrežama. Jedna koja se oglasila tim putem je i povjesničarka mode i spisateljica Shelby Ivey Christie koja je na svom Twitteru istaknula da se u zajednici Afroamerikanaca "jednobojno odijevanje smatra obilježjem proslave" objašnjavajući da je na ovaj način Kamala pokazala i da poštuje svoje kulturno naslijeđe.

I bluza s pussy mašnicom smatra se znakovitom, a Harris ju je nosila na saslušanju Amy Coney Barrett, Trumpove kandidatkinje za sutkinju Vrhovnog suda. U to vrijeme ta je bluza shvaćena kao poruka Trumpu jer je Melania nosila vrlo silčnu nakon što su procurile snimke u aferi Access Hollywood, na kojima se čuje kako se američki predsjednik hvali seksualnim zlostavljanjem: "Niti ne čekam, kad si zvijezda, dopuste ti to. O tome su uzvijestili brojni mediji usredotočeni na modu i stil, a neki su od njih zaključili kako je ova kombinacija sjajan izbor jer je simbolikom boja i krojeva dodatno naglasio ono što je Harris osobito istaknula u svom govoru: da je prva, ali sigurno ne i posljednja žena na toj funkciji.

Bijela se boja, naime, smatra simbolom pokreta sufražetkinja, čiju stogodišnjicu osnutka obilježavamo ove godine. No, Harris nije jedina koja je na umu imala tu simboliku, jer je bijelo nosile američke zakonodavke na obraćanju State of Union 2019, odajući tako priznanje sufražetkinjama te ujedno tiho prosvjedujući protiv politike Trumpove administracije. Bijelo odijelo više je puta za vrijeme svoje predsjedničke utrke nosila Hillary Clinton učinivši ga simbolom modernog feminizma.

Koliko je šira javnost prepoznala ovu simboliku nije nam poznato, no Harrisičin izbor dobio je niz pohvala na društvenim mrežama. Jedna koja se oglasila tim putem je i povjesničarka mode i spisateljica Shelby Ivey Christie koja je na svom Twitteru istaknula da se u zajednici Afroamerikanaca "jednobojno odijevanje smatra obilježjem proslave" objašnjavajući da je na ovaj način Kamala pokazala i da poštuje svoje kulturno naslijeđe.

I bluza s pussy mašnicom smatra se znakovitom, a Harris ju je nosila na saslušanju Amy Coney Barrett, Trumpove kandidatkinje za sutkinju Vrhovnog suda. U to vrijeme ta je bluza shvaćena kao poruka Trumpu jer je Melania nosila vrlo silčnu nakon što su procurile snimke u aferi Access Hollywood, na kojima se čuje kako se američki predsjednik hvali seksualnim zlostavljanjem: "Niti ne čekam, kad si zvijezda, dopuste ti to. Možeš učiniti bilo što, uhvatiti ih za p..ku". Kako se u engleskom slengu p..ka naziva pussy, Kamalin izbor pussybow bluze shvaćen je kao suptilna, ali jasna poruka kompromitiranom predsjedniku.
