Odabir bijelog odijela i pussybow bluze za prvo obraćanje javnosti u svojstvu buduće potpredsjednice Sjedinjenih Država privukao je puno pažnje na smisao za modu i suptilno odašiljanje poruka Kamale Harris, no onima koji nisu podrobno i iz svakog kuta pratili samo predsjedničku utrku možda je promakao neobičan detalj vezan uz obuće najbliže Bidenove suradnice. Kao gotovo nijedna druga žena prije nje, Kamala Harris provela je velik dio kampanje noseći tenisice. I to model koji se itakako nosio u našim krajevima, toliko da je na kraju pomalo postao predmet sprdnje, čak je završio u pjesmi. Bile starke.

To što je Harris ignorirala konvencije tradicionalnog političkog odijevanja neki su protumačili kao podilaženje mlađim glasačima, no Vogue piše kako joj to nije bio motiv.

Već u rujnu je potencijalna porpredsjednica stvorila presedan pojavivši se na skupu u Wisconsinu u paru Converseovih tenisica All Stars. Doduše crnih. No još je prošle godine izjavila kako ima cijelu kolekciju tenisica. “Imam cijelu kolekciju Chucka Taylorsa: crni kožni par, bijeli par, imam one koje se ne vezuju, one s vezicama, one za po vrućem vremenu, one koje nosim u hladno vrijeme, kao i tenisice s platformom", priznala je. 

U listopadu je na mitingu na Floridi bila u paru visokih bijelih Conversica na koje je prikačila bedževe s natpisima: "Crna radost", "Stop mržnji" i "Ljubav 2020". Bio je to sjajan način da se oda počast osjećajima milijunima pristaša pokreta Black Lives Matter. Harričin prkosan, elegantno-ležeran pristup u potpunoj je suprotnosti s Melanijinim, koja je na dan izbora nosila haljinu Gucci i bež lakirane salonke marke Christian Louboutin.

Sadržaj ormara istaknutih političarki uvijek je izazivao polemike, podsjeća Vogue, bio predmet mnogih rasprava, a sklonost Therese May prema kitten potpeticama s leopard printom iznjedrila je nebrojene naslove u američkom tisku. Njujorška političarka Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez često se spominje zbog zanimljivog izbora odjeće, koji uključuje ljubav prema luksuznim dizajnerskim haljinama.

Nije novost da odjeća može utjecati na to kako se osjećamo, podići nam ili spustiti samopouzdanje i odaslati poruku svima koji na nas obrate dovoljno pažnje. Često se ističe kako, suprotno uvriježenom mišljenju, najbolje izgledamo u odjeći u kojoj se najbolje osjećamo (ne, ne mislimo na modno  nupitne "pokućne" kombinacije!).

Harris je još jedan dokaz te teze: kombinirajući uglađena, dobro krojena odijela s omiljenim tenisicama nije izgledala ništa manje staloženo i sposobno od političarki koje se drže klasične obuće, konstantira Vogue. A kad tako kaže Vogue, tko smo mi da se ne složimo.

Možda je došlo vrijeme da omražene bile starke dobiju novu simboliku i predtanu biti indikator za manjak modne smjelosti i bespogovorno priklanjanje onomme što "svi nos" te postanu izbor žena koje žele pokazati da se ne boje biti drugačije?

Odabir bijelog odijela i pussybow bluze za prvo obraćanje javnosti u svojstvu buduće potpredsjednice Sjedinjenih Država privukao je puno pažnje na smisao za modu i suptilno odašiljanje poruka Kamale Harris, no onima koji nisu podrobno i iz svakog kuta pratili samo predsjedničku utrku možda je promakao neobičan detalj vezan uz obuće najbliže Bidenove suradnice. Kao gotovo nijedna druga žena prije nje, Kamala Harris provela je velik dio kampanje noseći tenisice. I to model koji se itakako nosio u našim krajevima, toliko da je na kraju pomalo postao predmet sprdnje, čak je završio u pjesmi. Bile starke.

To što je Harris ignorirala konvencije tradicionalnog političkog odijevanja neki su protumačili kao podilaženje mlađim glasačima, no Vogue piše kako joj to nije bio motiv.

Već u rujnu je potencijalna porpredsjednica stvorila presedan pojavivši se na skupu u Wisconsinu u paru Converseovih tenisica All Stars. Doduše crnih. No još je prošle godine izjavila kako ima cijelu kolekciju tenisica. “Imam cijelu kolekciju Chucka Taylorsa: crni kožni par, bijeli par, imam one koje se ne vezuju, one s vezicama, one za po vrućem vremenu, one koje nosim u hladno vrijeme, kao i tenisice s platformom", priznala je. 

U listopadu je na mitingu na Floridi bila u paru visokih bijelih Conversica na koje je prikačila bedževe s natpisima: "Crna radost", "Stop mržnji" i "Ljubav 2020". Bio je to sjajan način da se oda počast osjećajima milijunima pristaša pokreta Black Lives Matter. Harričin prkosan, elegantno-ležeran pristup u potpunoj je suprotnosti s Melanijinim, koja je na dan izbora nosila haljinu Gucci i bež lakirane salonke marke Christian Louboutin.

Sadržaj ormara istaknutih političarki uvijek je izazivao polemike, podsjeća Vogue, bio predmet mnogih rasprava, a sklonost Therese May prema kitten potpeticama s leopard printom iznjedrila je nebrojene naslove u američkom tisku. Njujorška političarka Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez često se spominje zbog zanimljivog izbora odjeće, koji uključuje ljubav prema luksuznim dizajnerskim haljinama.

Nije novost da odjeća može utjecati na to kako se osjećamo, podići nam ili spustiti samopouzdanje i odaslati poruku svima koji na nas obrate dovoljno pažnje. Često se ističe kako, suprotno uvriježenom mišljenju, najbolje izgledamo u odjeći u kojoj se najbolje osjećamo (ne, ne mislimo na modno  nupitne "pokućne" kombinacije!).

Harris je još jedan dokaz te teze: kombinirajući uglađena, dobro krojena odijela s omiljenim tenisicama nije izgledala ništa manje staloženo i sposobno od političarki koje se drže klasične obuće, konstantira Vogue. A kad tako kaže Vogue, tko smo mi da se ne složimo.

Dolazi li novo vrijeme za u Dalmaciji ozloglašen model obuće? Kamala Harris ga je često nosila u kampanji kršeći konvencije, otkriveno je i zašto

Odabir bijelog odijela i pussybow bluze za prvo obraćanje javnosti u svojstvu buduće potpredsjednice Sjedinjenih Država privukao je puno pažnje na smisao za modu i suptilno odašiljanje poruka Kamale Harris, no onima koji nisu podrobno i iz svakog kuta pratili samo predsjedničku utrku možda je promakao neobičan detalj vezan uz obuće najbliže Bidenove suradnice. Kao gotovo nijedna druga žena prije nje, Kamala Harris provela je velik dio kampanje noseći tenisice. I to model koji se itakako nosio u našim krajevima, toliko da je na kraju pomalo postao predmet sprdnje, čak je završio u pjesmi. Bile starke.

To što je Harris ignorirala konvencije tradicionalnog političkog odijevanja neki su protumačili kao podilaženje mlađim glasačima, no Vogue piše kako joj to nije bio motiv.

Već u rujnu je potencijalna porpredsjednica stvorila presedan pojavivši se na skupu u Wisconsinu u paru Converseovih tenisica All Stars. Doduše crnih. No još je prošle godine izjavila kako ima cijelu kolekciju tenisica. “Imam cijelu kolekciju Chucka Taylorsa: crni kožni par, bijeli par, imam one koje se ne vezuju, one s vezicama, one za po vrućem vremenu, one koje nosim u hladno vrijeme, kao i tenisice s platformom", priznala je. 

U listopadu je na mitingu na Floridi bila u paru visokih bijelih Conversica na koje je prikačila bedževe s natpisima: "Crna radost", "Stop mržnji" i "Ljubav 2020". Bio je to sjajan način da se oda počast osjećajima milijunima pristaša pokreta Black Lives Matter. Harričin prkosan, elegantno-ležeran pristup u potpunoj je suprotnosti s Melanijinim, koja je na dan izbora nosila haljinu Gucci i bež lakirane salonke marke Christian Louboutin.

Sadržaj ormara istaknutih političarki uvijek je izazivao polemike, podsjeća Vogue, bio predmet mnogih rasprava, a sklonost Therese May prema kitten potpeticama s leopard printom iznjedrila je nebrojene naslove u američkom tisku. Njujorška političarka Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez često se spominje zbog zanimljivog izbora odjeće, koji uključuje ljubav prema luksuznim dizajnerskim haljinama.

Nije novost da odjeća može utjecati na to kako se osjećamo, podići nam ili spustiti samopouzdanje i odaslati poruku svima koji na nas obrate dovoljno pažnje. Često se ističe kako, suprotno uvriježenom mišljenju, najbolje izgledamo u odjeći u kojoj se najbolje osjećamo (ne, ne mislimo na modno  nupitne "pokućne" kombinacije!).

Harris je još jedan dokaz te teze: kombinirajući uglađena, dobro krojena odijela s omiljenim tenisicama nije izgledala ništa manje staloženo i sposobno od političarki koje se drže klasične obuće, konstantira Vogue. A kad tako kaže Vogue, tko smo mi da se ne složimo.
