Što je sve u samo pola godine prošao Sebastien Haller... Čudesan je put koji je prevalio nakon što mu je lani u srpnju dijagnosticiran rak testisa. Primio je napadač Obale Bjelokosti teške vijesti i to svega par tjedana nakon što je u velikom transferu napustio Ajax i pojačao Borussiju Dortmund.

Nijemci su na njega bacili oko nakon sjajnih partija u dresu momčadi iz Amsterdama. Preporodio se u Ajaxu Haller. Dvije sezone u engleskom West Hamu mu nije išlo najbolje. Na Otok je stigao kao veliko pojačanje. Njegove usluge Čekićari su Eintrachtu iz Frankfurta platili 50 milijuna eura. Lošu formu i pad cijene iskoristio je Ajax i doveo ga za samo 22.5 milijuna. U 67 nastupa zabio je 47 pogodaka, uz 16 asistencija. Nakon odlaska Erlinga Haalanda u Dortmundu su baš u njemu vidjeli zamjenu za norveškog golgetera.

Pogodile su ga, međutim, vijesti koje nitko ne želi čuti. Čekale su ga operacije i kemoterapija. To je bio onaj obavezni dio, za zdravlje. Društvenim mrežama kružile su njegove fotografije. Bolest i terapije su ga iscrpile. No, tijelo je izdržalo, te se 28-godišnjak se u rekordnom roku vratio profesionalnom nogometu. I to na najvišoj razini. Povratak se dogodio u prijateljskom ogledu s Fortunom Dusseldorf. Odigrao je Haller 17 minuta zaradivši pljesak svih prisutnih.

- Osjećam se dobro. Iza mene je teških šest mjeseci, ali sretan sam što sam se vratio, što mogu igrati i trenirati. Nije bilo lako, ali vrijedilo je. Nogomet je moj posao, ali i stvar koju volim najviše na svijetu – poručio je.

Nije mu, međutim, trebalo dugo da nastavi tamo gdje je stao. Već u sljedećoj utakmici provjere pred nastavak Bundeslige zabio je „hat-trick”. U igru je ušao u 60. minuti i u manje od pola sata triput zatresao protivničku mrežu.

Bio je to jasan znak hrvatskom treneru na klupi Borussije Edinu Terziću. Haller ne samo da se vratio, već je opet u velikoj formi i gladan golova. Dogodio se u međuvremenu i njegov bundesligaški debi u pobjedi nad Augsburgom 4:3. Rođeni Francuz očito još nije spreman za svih 90 minuta, pa je opet započeo na klupi.

A onda je u svojoj drugoj utakmici u njemačkom prvenstvu bio jedan od ključnih igrača. Igrala se 93. minuta susreta Mainza i Borussije Dortmund. Na semaforu je pisalo 1:1. Haller je opet dobio pola sata na terenu zamijenivši mladog Youssoufu Moukoka. U samom finišu gosti su imali korner. Ubačaj je odsjeo baš na njegovu glavu, prebacio je loptu do Giovannija Reyne koji je pogodio za pobjedu. Povratniku Halleru tako je upisana asistencija, šlag na tortu čudesnog povratka i oporavka od opake bolesti.

Što je sve u samo pola godine prošao Sebastien Haller... Čudesan je put koji je prevalio nakon što mu je lani u srpnju dijagnosticiran rak testisa. Primio je napadač Obale Bjelokosti teške vijesti i to svega par tjedana nakon što je u velikom transferu napustio Ajax i pojačao Borussiju Dortmund.

Nijemci su na njega bacili oko nakon sjajnih partija u dresu momčadi iz Amsterdama. Preporodio se u Ajaxu Haller. Dvije sezone u engleskom West Hamu mu nije išlo najbolje. Na Otok je stigao kao veliko pojačanje. Njegove usluge Čekićari su Eintrachtu iz Frankfurta platili 50 milijuna eura. Lošu formu i pad cijene iskoristio je Ajax i doveo ga za samo 22.5 milijuna. U 67 nastupa zabio je 47 pogodaka, uz 16 asistencija. Nakon odlaska Erlinga Haalanda u Dortmundu su baš u njemu vidjeli zamjenu za norveškog golgetera.

Pogodile su ga, međutim, vijesti koje nitko ne želi čuti. Čekale su ga operacije i kemoterapija. To je bio onaj obavezni dio, za zdravlje. Društvenim mrežama kružile su njegove fotografije. Bolest i terapije su ga iscrpile. No, tijelo je izdržalo, te se 28-godišnjak se u rekordnom roku vratio profesionalnom nogometu. I to na najvišoj razini. Povratak se dogodio u prijateljskom ogledu s Fortunom Dusseldorf. Odigrao je Haller 17 minuta zaradivši pljesak svih prisutnih.

- Osjećam se dobro. Iza mene je teških šest mjeseci, ali sretan sam što sam se vratio, što mogu igrati i trenirati. Nije bilo lako, ali vrijedilo je. Nogomet je moj posao, ali i stvar koju volim najviše na svijetu – poručio je.

Nije mu, međutim, trebalo dugo da nastavi tamo gdje je stao. Već u sljedećoj utakmici provjere pred nastavak Bundeslige zabio je „hat-trick”. U igru je ušao u 60. minuti i u manje od pola sata triput zatresao protivničku mrežu.

Bio je to jasan znak hrvatskom treneru na klupi Borussije Edinu Terziću. Haller ne samo da se vratio, već je opet u velikoj formi i gladan golova. Dogodio se u međuvremenu i njegov bundesligaški debi u pobjedi nad Augsburgom 4:3. Rođeni Francuz očito još nije spreman za svih 90 minuta, pa je opet započeo na klupi.

A onda je u svojoj drugoj utakmici u njemačkom prvenstvu bio jedan od ključnih igrača. Igrala se 93. minuta susreta Mainza i Borussije Dortmund. Na semaforu je pisalo 1:1. Haller je opet dobio pola sata na terenu zamijenivši mladog Youssoufu Moukoka. U samom finišu gosti su imali korner. Ubačaj je odsjeo baš na njegovu glavu, prebacio je loptu do Giovannija Reyne koji je pogodio za pobjedu. Povratniku Halleru tako je upisana asistencija, šlag na tortu čudesnog povratka i oporavka od opake bolesti.

Nakon operacije i šest mjeseci iscrpljujućih kemoterapija pobijedio rak i opet trese mreže

Što je sve u samo pola godine prošao Sebastien Haller... Čudesan je put koji je prevalio nakon što mu je lani u srpnju dijagnosticiran rak testisa. Primio je napadač Obale Bjelokosti teške vijesti i to svega par tjedana nakon što je u velikom transferu napustio Ajax i pojačao Borussiju Dortmund.

Nijemci su na njega bacili oko nakon sjajnih partija u dresu momčadi iz Amsterdama. Preporodio se u Ajaxu Haller. Dvije sezone u engleskom West Hamu mu nije išlo najbolje. Na Otok je stigao kao veliko pojačanje. Njegove usluge Čekićari su Eintrachtu iz Frankfurta platili 50 milijuna eura. Lošu formu i pad cijene iskoristio je Ajax i doveo ga za samo 22.5 milijuna. U 67 nastupa zabio je 47 pogodaka, uz 16 asistencija. Nakon odlaska Erlinga Haalanda u Dortmundu su baš u njemu...
