‘Moram priznati da me Španjolska iznenadila u polufinalu i očekivao sam da će to Italija lakše riješit, na kraju je Španjolska imala posjed lopte 70:30, pritiskala je više, a nas je izvukla dobra obrana i rulet s jedanaesteraca’ – priča nam Edy Reja, naš stručni komentator iz Italije, nekoć trener Hajduka, sada izbornik Albanije, ponovimo to uvijek i iznova.

Pa nije presudan uvijek posjed lopte? - kontriramo iskusnom stručnjaku.

- Dobro je imati loptu, jer iz te kontrole sve počinje.

A znate li što bi rekao vaš nasljednik na kormilu Hajduka, Stanko Poklepović? Rekao bi Špaco „a šta će mi balun, nosi ga doma, meni treba prostor da ga otvorim, pa da tu upadnemo i brzom akcijom iznenadimo protivnika”?

- Ha, ha, odlično, ima logike i te kakve, međutim prošlo je vrijeme oslanjanja baš isključivo na kontranapad i obranu je najbolje raditi odmah, visoko. To se prakticira, čim izgubiš loptu, otmi je i počinješ svoju novu akciju.

Slažemo se, naravno, nego što bi Italija bez svoja dva blizanca u obrani? Bonucci i Chiellini zajedno imaju blizu 80 godina, a što biste bez njih? Fali još jedino da se reaktivirao Barzagli. Ionako ste ih zvali po englesku, BBC...

- Njih dvoje su temelj obrane, ali nisu presudni. Bit će ovo utrka po bokovima, na krilima, tu vidim odluku. Engleska je možda individualno jača za nijansu, ali momčad Mancinija je pokazala zavidan nivo kolektivne igre. Odlučuje se na bočnim pozicijama i dakako po učinku individualaca, tko bude bolje raspoložen.

‘Bolje se branimo u kriznim trenucima’

Da malo to raščlanimo?

- S naše strane to su Insigne i Chiesa, koliko će se nametnuti po svojim stranama. Englezi su pak strašno brzi, imaju Sterlinga koji prodire, hoće li tu biti Foden ili ovaj novi, kako se zove, Saka, vrlo zanimljiv igrač... Imaju nekoliko rješenja, a bočne pozicije su im forte. To me zanima. Tko dobije prevlast na krilu, može se nadati tituli prvaka. Tu se vodi i taktička bitka, kako zatvorit bočne pozicije.

Tko ima bolja krila, poletjet će do pehara, a Vaša prognoza?

- 60:40 za Italiju i to nije samo zato jer bih ja to htio, nego znajući način igranja jednih i drugih, Italija je favorit. Napokon, kako ste rekli, ako baš zagusti, bolje se branimo i možemo odoljeti u kriznim trenucima. U tom času vraćamo se na Bonuccija i Chiellinija koji svojim iskustvom, kao prekaljeni borci, mogu biti temeljni igrači.

Nismo ga zaboravili, znamo otprije u razgovoru s vama da ga izuzetno cijenite...

- Pa da, Harry Kane, pozor na njega. Ako bitka po bokovima bude izjednačena može presuditi Kane, što naravno ne bih želio. Kane može biti prevaga kad sve bude zatvoreno, on čita gdje će lopta, on s prvim korakom uđe ispred svoga čuvara, vidjeli ste kako je Ukrajini dao prvi gol, dovoljan je trenutak, za korak ispred, hop i lagana realizacija, samo blagi dodir lopte. On je nemilosrdan u zabijanju, a igra na inteligenciju. I hitrinu. Fenomenalno inteligentan napadač, ubojit. Nadam se da neće presudit.

‘Igra Italije je raznovrsnija’

Niste li se malo zaletjeli s ovih 60:40, očekivali bismo od vas da ih poravnate, ipak su to emocije?

- Ma ne, mogu ja navijati, ali stvarno tako mislim. Nije to moj odušak ili euforija, to je hladna procjena. Gledajući kako se dosad igralo, Italija je pružila raznovrsniju igru. I Španjolska je u polufinalu bila izvanredna, tako da mi se to sada čini kao da je bilo finale prije finala.

Englezi imaju prednost domaćeg terena?

- Mislim da u ovakvom finalu to malo znači. Imate mnogo primjera da domaćin u finalu nije pobjeđivao.

‘Mancini je uradio velike stvari’

U pravu ste, pa i posljednji Euro, Francuska – Portugal, otišao je na stranu gosta, usred Pariza.

- Gledajući nogometno, Mancini je uradio velike stvari i igramo, rekao bih, najbolji nogomet na Euru.

Vi ste kod kuće?

- O da, kod Gorizije na odmoru, moje mjesto Lucinico (slovenski Ločnik, op. a.). Pripremam se gledati utakmicu u „santa pace”, u svetom miru. Koncentracija ispred televizora, zatvorit ću se, osamiti. I neće me nitko ometati. To je kao sveta misa – povjerio nam se iskusni stručnjak.

„In bocca al lupo”, zaželjeli smo mu sreću. Da je s druge strane Englez rekli bismo „break a leg”.

- Ha, ha, odlično, ima logike i te kakve, međutim prošlo je vrijeme oslanjanja baš isključivo na kontranapad i obranu je najbolje raditi odmah, visoko. To se prakticira, čim izgubiš loptu, otmi je i počinješ svoju novu akciju.

Slažemo se, naravno, nego što bi Italija bez svoja dva blizanca u obrani? Bonucci i Chiellini zajedno imaju blizu 80 godina, a što biste bez njih? Fali još jedino da se reaktivirao Barzagli. Ionako ste ih zvali po englesku, BBC...

- Njih dvoje su temelj obrane, ali nisu presudni. Bit će ovo utrka po bokovima, na krilima, tu vidim odluku. Engleska je možda individualno jača za nijansu, ali momčad Mancinija je pokazala zavidan nivo kolektivne igre. Odlučuje se na bočnim pozicijama i dakako po učinku individualaca, tko bude bolje raspoložen.

‘Bolje se branimo u kriznim trenucima’

Da malo to raščlanimo?

- S naše strane to su Insigne i Chiesa, koliko će se nametnuti po svojim stranama. Englezi su pak strašno brzi, imaju Sterlinga koji prodire, hoće li tu biti Foden ili ovaj novi, kako se zove, Saka, vrlo zanimljiv igrač... Imaju nekoliko rješenja, a bočne pozicije su im forte. To me zanima. Tko dobije prevlast na krilu, može se nadati tituli prvaka. Tu se vodi i taktička bitka, kako zatvorit bočne pozicije.

Tko ima bolja krila, poletjet će do pehara, a Vaša prognoza?

- 60:40 za Italiju i to nije samo zato jer bih ja to htio, nego znajući način igranja jednih i drugih, Italija je favorit. Napokon, kako ste rekli, ako baš zagusti, bolje se branimo i možemo odoljeti u kriznim trenucima. U tom času vraćamo se na Bonuccija i Chiellinija koji svojim iskustvom, kao prekaljeni borci, mogu biti temeljni igrači.

Nismo ga zaboravili, znamo otprije u razgovoru s vama da ga izuzetno cijenite...

- Pa da, Harry Kane, pozor na njega. Ako bitka po bokovima bude izjednačena može presuditi Kane, što naravno ne bih želio. Kane može biti prevaga kad sve bude zatvoreno, on čita gdje će lopta, on s prvim korakom uđe ispred svoga čuvara, vidjeli ste kako je Ukrajini dao prvi gol, dovoljan je trenutak, za korak ispred, hop i lagana realizacija, samo blagi dodir lopte. On je nemilosrdan u zabijanju, a igra na inteligenciju. I hitrinu. Fenomenalno inteligentan napadač, ubojit. Nadam se da neće presudit.

‘Igra Italije je raznovrsnija’

Niste li se malo zaletjeli s ovih 60:40, očekivali bismo od vas da ih poravnate, ipak su to emocije?

- Ma ne, mogu ja navijati, ali stvarno tako mislim. Nije to moj odušak ili euforija, to je hladna procjena. Gledajući kako se dosad igralo, Italija je pružila raznovrsniju igru. I Španjolska je u polufinalu bila izvanredna, tako da mi se to sada čini kao da je bilo finale prije finala.

Englezi imaju prednost domaćeg terena?

- Mislim da u ovakvom finalu to malo znači. Imate mnogo primjera da domaćin u finalu nije pobjeđivao.

‘Mancini je uradio velike stvari’

U pravu ste, pa i posljednji Euro, Francuska – Portugal, otišao je na stranu gosta, usred Pariza.

- Gledajući nogometno, Mancini je uradio velike stvari i igramo, rekao bih, najbolji nogomet na Euru.

Vi ste kod kuće?

- O da, kod Gorizije na odmoru, moje mjesto Lucinico (slovenski Ločnik, op. a.). Pripremam se gledati utakmicu u „santa pace”, u svetom miru. Koncentracija ispred televizora, zatvorit ću se, osamiti. I neće me nitko ometati. To je kao sveta misa – povjerio nam se iskusni stručnjak.

„In bocca al lupo”, zaželjeli smo mu sreću. Da je s druge strane Englez rekli bismo „break a leg”.

‘Moram priznati da me Španjolska iznenadila u polufinalu i očekivao sam da će to Italija lakše riješit, na kraju je Španjolska imala posjed lopte 70:30, pritiskala je više, a nas je izvukla dobra obrana i rulet s jedanaesteraca’ – priča nam Edy Reja, naš stručni komentator iz Italije, nekoć trener Hajduka, sada izbornik Albanije, ponovimo to uvijek i iznova.

Pa nije presudan uvijek posjed lopte? - kontriramo iskusnom stručnjaku.

- Dobro je imati loptu, jer iz te kontrole sve počinje.
