Engleski prvoligaš Chelsea je imao ukupni neto gubitak od 121,3 milijuna funti (148,65 milijuna dolara) u sezoni 2021./22. zbog "izvanrednih troškova i gubitka prihoda" nakon što su prijašnjem vlasniku Rusu Romanu Abramoviču nametnute sankcije, objavio je londonski klub u ponedjeljak.

Abramovič je stavio klub na prodaju početkom ožujka prošle godine nakon početka ruske invazije na Ukrajinu, a sankcije britanske vlade protiv njega su zakomplicirale proces prodaje.

Chelseaju nije bilo dopušteno prodavati ulaznice, što je rezultiralo gubitkom prihoda, dok je njihova operativna potrošnja također bila smanjena zbog vladinih ograničenja do završetka prodaje krajem svibnja.

"Tijekom tog razdoblja klub je bio ograničen u nizu područja uključujući i prodaju ulaznica na dan utakmice i sezonskih ulaznica, prodaje robe, prihvaćanja rezervacija događaja, kao i potpisivanja ugovora s igračima i komercijalnim sponzorskim partnerima što je rezultiralo izvanrednim troškovima i gubitkom prihoda", navodi Chelsea.

"Nadalje, očekuje se da će neka od ovih ograničenja imati utjecaj na financijske rezultate u narednim godinama zbog dugoročnog utjecaja ograničenja na sklapanje novih ugovornih aranžmana."

No, prošle godine se promet Chelsea povećao na 481,3 milijuna funti sa 434,9 milijuna funti, uglavnom zbog povećanja prihoda od utakmica i komercijalnih prihoda jer su se navijači vratili na stadione nakon pandemije COVID-19.

Komercijalni prihod kluba također je porastao na 177,1 milijun funti zahvaljujući neto povećanju prihoda od sponzorstva od novih ugovora i obnavljanja postojećih partnera.

Sve gore navedeno pridonijelo je bilježenju gubitka grupe prije umanjenja vrijednosti igrača i jednokratnih troškova od 26,6 milijuna funti za godinu koja je završila 30. lipnja 2022., te ukupnog neto gubitka od 121,3 milijuna funti.

"Unatoč gubitku u godini i operativnim izazovima zbog sankcija, klub se nastavlja pridržavati financijskih propisa UEFA-e i Premier lige", ističe engleski klub.

Investicijska grupa predvođena američkim biznismenom Toddom Boehlyjem i Clearlake Capitalom kupila je Chelsea i u dva navrata su uložili više od 600 milijuna eura (645,78 milijuna dolara) u transfere igrača.

Klub je trenutačno deseti na ljestvici, ali se plasirao u četvrtfinala Lige prvaka gdje ga sljedeći mjesec čeka aktualni prvak Real Madrid.

Engleski prvoligaš Chelsea je imao ukupni neto gubitak od 121,3 milijuna funti (148,65 milijuna dolara) u sezoni 2021./22. zbog "izvanrednih troškova i gubitka prihoda" nakon što su prijašnjem vlasniku Rusu Romanu Abramoviču nametnute sankcije, objavio je londonski klub u ponedjeljak.

Abramovič je stavio klub na prodaju početkom ožujka prošle godine nakon početka ruske invazije na Ukrajinu, a sankcije britanske vlade protiv njega su zakomplicirale proces prodaje.

Chelseaju nije bilo dopušteno prodavati ulaznice, što je rezultiralo gubitkom prihoda, dok je njihova operativna potrošnja također bila smanjena zbog vladinih ograničenja do završetka prodaje krajem svibnja.

"Tijekom tog razdoblja klub je bio ograničen u nizu područja uključujući i prodaju ulaznica na dan utakmice i sezonskih ulaznica, prodaje robe, prihvaćanja rezervacija događaja, kao i potpisivanja ugovora s igračima i komercijalnim sponzorskim partnerima što je rezultiralo izvanrednim troškovima i gubitkom prihoda", navodi Chelsea.

"Nadalje, očekuje se da će neka od ovih ograničenja imati utjecaj na financijske rezultate u narednim godinama zbog dugoročnog utjecaja ograničenja na sklapanje novih ugovornih aranžmana."

No, prošle godine se promet Chelsea povećao na 481,3 milijuna funti sa 434,9 milijuna funti, uglavnom zbog povećanja prihoda od utakmica i komercijalnih prihoda jer su se navijači vratili na stadione nakon pandemije COVID-19.

Komercijalni prihod kluba također je porastao na 177,1 milijun funti zahvaljujući neto povećanju prihoda od sponzorstva od novih ugovora i obnavljanja postojećih partnera.

Sve gore navedeno pridonijelo je bilježenju gubitka grupe prije umanjenja vrijednosti igrača i jednokratnih troškova od 26,6 milijuna funti za godinu koja je završila 30. lipnja 2022., te ukupnog neto gubitka od 121,3 milijuna funti.

"Unatoč gubitku u godini i operativnim izazovima zbog sankcija, klub se nastavlja pridržavati financijskih propisa UEFA-e i Premier lige", ističe engleski klub.

Investicijska grupa predvođena američkim biznismenom Toddom Boehlyjem i Clearlake Capitalom kupila je Chelsea i u dva navrata su uložili više od 600 milijuna eura (645,78 milijuna dolara) u transfere igrača.

Klub je trenutačno deseti na ljestvici, ali se plasirao u četvrtfinala Lige prvaka gdje ga sljedeći mjesec čeka aktualni prvak Real Madrid.

Chelsea prošle sezone zabilježio ogromne gubitke, sve zbog Romana Abramoviča

Engleski prvoligaš Chelsea je imao ukupni neto gubitak od 121,3 milijuna funti (148,65 milijuna dolara) u sezoni 2021./22. zbog "izvanrednih troškova i gubitka prihoda" nakon što su prijašnjem vlasniku Rusu Romanu Abramoviču nametnute sankcije, objavio je londonski klub u ponedjeljak.

Abramovič je stavio klub na prodaju početkom ožujka prošle godine nakon početka ruske invazije na Ukrajinu, a sankcije britanske vlade protiv njega su zakomplicirale proces prodaje.

Chelseaju nije bilo dopušteno prodavati ulaznice, što je rezultiralo gubitkom prihoda, dok je njihova operativna potrošnja također bila smanjena zbog vladinih ograničenja do završetka prodaje krajem svibnja.
