Predolimpijsko natjecanje u plivanju koje se trebalo održati u nedjelju u Seini otkazano je zbog zagađenja rijeke, objavila je u nedjelju Međunarodna plivačka federacija World Aquatics nakon pregleda najnovijih rezultata analize vode tijekom noći.

Ukazujući na kvalitetu vode "ispod prihvatljivih standarda", World Aquatics također vjeruje da se "mora nastaviti raditi s organizacijskim odborom OI Pariz 2024. i lokalnim vlastima kako bi se osiguralo postojanje čvrstih planova za nepredviđene situacije za sljedeću godinu" kada se održavaju Olimpijske igre.

Trening u petak je već bio otkazan, a potom je i ženska utrka odgođena sa subote na nedjelju u nadi da će se bakteriološke analize popraviti. Uporne i obilne kiše koje su padale tjedan dana uzrokovale su izlijevanje kanalizacije, što je zagadilo Seinu.

"Međunarodna federacija je "razočarana što je kvaliteta vode dovela do otkazivanja ovog natjecanja, ali zdravlje sportaša mora uvijek biti naš prvi prioritet", izjavio je Husain Al-Musallam, predsjednik World Aquaticsa.

Predolimpijsko natjecanje u plivanju koje se trebalo održati u nedjelju u Seini otkazano je zbog zagađenja rijeke, objavila je u nedjelju Međunarodna plivačka federacija World Aquatics nakon pregleda najnovijih rezultata analize vode tijekom noći.

Ukazujući na kvalitetu vode "ispod prihvatljivih standarda", World Aquatics također vjeruje da se "mora nastaviti raditi s organizacijskim odborom OI Pariz 2024. i lokalnim vlastima kako bi se osiguralo postojanje čvrstih planova za nepredviđene situacije za sljedeću godinu" kada se održavaju Olimpijske igre.

Trening u petak je već bio otkazan, a potom je i ženska utrka odgođena sa subote na nedjelju u nadi da će se bakteriološke analize popraviti. Uporne i obilne kiše koje su padale tjedan dana uzrokovale su izlijevanje kanalizacije, što je zagadilo Seinu.

"Međunarodna federacija je "razočarana što je kvaliteta vode dovela do otkazivanja ovog natjecanja, ali zdravlje sportaša mora uvijek biti naš prvi prioritet", izjavio je Husain Al-Musallam, predsjednik World Aquaticsa.

Predolimpijsko natjecanje u plivanju koje se trebalo održati u nedjelju u Seini otkazano je zbog zagađenja rijeke, objavila je u nedjelju Međunarodna plivačka federacija World Aquatics nakon pregleda najnovijih rezultata analize vode tijekom noći.

Ukazujući na kvalitetu vode "ispod prihvatljivih standarda", World Aquatics također vjeruje da se "mora nastaviti raditi s organizacijskim odborom OI Pariz 2024. i lokalnim vlastima kako bi se osiguralo postojanje čvrstih planova za nepredviđene situacije za sljedeću godinu" kada se održavaju Olimpijske igre.

Trening u petak je već bio otkazan, a potom je i ženska utrka odgođena sa subote na nedjelju u nadi da će se bakteriološke analize popraviti. Uporne i obilne kiše koje su padale tjedan dana uzrokovale su izlijevanje kanalizacije, što je zagadilo Seinu.

"Međunarodna federacija je "razočarana što je kvaliteta vode dovela do otkazivanja ovog natjecanja, ali zdravlje sportaša mora uvijek biti naš prvi prioritet", izjavio je Husain Al-Musallam, predsjednik World Aquaticsa.
