Tehnički direktor formule 1 Ross Brawn tvrdi da ne postoji momčad koja nije kopirala nešto od druge, čime je stao u obranu Racing Pointa, koji je već drugi put ove sezone optužen za kopiranje dijelova s prošlogodišnjeg Mercedesova bolida.  

Renault je već drugu utrku zaredom prijavio Racing Point zbog kočionih kanala, za koje francuska momčad tvrdi da su kopija Mercedesovog rješenja iz 2019.

Sada se Racing Point, koji koristi Mercedesove motore, nalazi pod istragom Međunarodne automobilističke federacije (FIA), a znakovito je da je momčad dobila nadimak 'ružičasti Mercedes' zbog sličnosti s bolidima koje voze šesterostruki svjetski prvak Lewis Hamilton i Valtteri Bottas.

- Moje je mišljenje da je kopiranje u formuli 1 standard. Svaka je momčad, u normalnim okolnostima, imala fotografe u boksu koji su napravili tisuće fotografija svakog automobila za analizu i s namjerom da kopiraju najbolje ideje. Mi smo našim fotografima davali popis onoga što nam treba - napisao je Brawn u svojem tjednom osvrtu na internetskom portalu Formule 1.

- Racing Point je to samo digao na višu razinu i bio temeljitiji u tom poslu. Ne postoji momčad koja nije kopirala nešto od neke druge... Ja sam kopirao druge - priznao je Brawn, koji je bio šef momčadi Benettona i Ferrarija u kojima je Michael Schumacher osvajao svojih sedam naslova svjetskog prvaka.

Brawn je istaknuo da je Racing Point prošle godine legalno koristio Mercedesove kočione kanale, jer tek od ove sezone postoji obveza da svaka momčad ima svoj dizajn.

- Racing Point ne može zaboraviti ono što je saznao 2019. o Mercedesovim kočionim kanalima. Nije logično misliti da to mogu izbrisati iz svoje banke podataka - tvrdi Brawn.

Racing Pointovi vozači, Meksikanac Sergio Perez i Kanađanin Lance Stroll su u prve tri utrke nove sezone sakupili 40 bodova i u ovom se trenutku nalaze na šestom i osmom mjestu redoslijeda vozača, dok su Australac Daniel Ricciardo i Francuz Estabena Ocon za upravljačima Renaulta osvojili svega 12 bodova. Stroll je na nedjeljnoj Velikoj nagradi Mađarske osvojio četvrto mjesto.

Tehnički direktor formule 1 Ross Brawn tvrdi da ne postoji momčad koja nije kopirala nešto od druge, čime je stao u obranu Racing Pointa, koji je već drugi put ove sezone optužen za kopiranje dijelova s prošlogodišnjeg Mercedesova bolida.  

Renault je već drugu utrku zaredom prijavio Racing Point zbog kočionih kanala, za koje francuska momčad tvrdi da su kopija Mercedesovog rješenja iz 2019.

Sada se Racing Point, koji koristi Mercedesove motore, nalazi pod istragom Međunarodne automobilističke federacije (FIA), a znakovito je da je momčad dobila nadimak 'ružičasti Mercedes' zbog sličnosti s bolidima koje voze šesterostruki svjetski prvak Lewis Hamilton i Valtteri Bottas.

- Moje je mišljenje da je kopiranje u formuli 1 standard. Svaka je momčad, u normalnim okolnostima, imala fotografe u boksu koji su napravili tisuće fotografija svakog automobila za analizu i s namjerom da kopiraju najbolje ideje. Mi smo našim fotografima davali popis onoga što nam treba - napisao je Brawn u svojem tjednom osvrtu na internetskom portalu Formule 1.

- Racing Point je to samo digao na višu razinu i bio temeljitiji u tom poslu. Ne postoji momčad koja nije kopirala nešto od neke druge... Ja sam kopirao druge - priznao je Brawn, koji je bio šef momčadi Benettona i Ferrarija u kojima je Michael Schumacher osvajao svojih sedam naslova svjetskog prvaka.

Brawn je istaknuo da je Racing Point prošle godine legalno koristio Mercedesove kočione kanale, jer tek od ove sezone postoji obveza da svaka momčad ima svoj dizajn.

- Racing Point ne može zaboraviti ono što je saznao 2019. o Mercedesovim kočionim kanalima. Nije logično misliti da to mogu izbrisati iz svoje banke podataka - tvrdi Brawn.

Racing Pointovi vozači, Meksikanac Sergio Perez i Kanađanin Lance Stroll su u prve tri utrke nove sezone sakupili 40 bodova i u ovom se trenutku nalaze na šestom i osmom mjestu redoslijeda vozača, dok su Australac Daniel Ricciardo i Francuz Estabena Ocon za upravljačima Renaulta osvojili svega 12 bodova. Stroll je na nedjeljnoj Velikoj nagradi Mađarske osvojio četvrto mjesto.

Tehnički direktor Ross Brawn: U formuli 1 svi kopiraju jedni od drugih, Racing Point je to samo digao na višu razinu

Tehnički direktor formule 1 Ross Brawn tvrdi da ne postoji momčad koja nije kopirala nešto od druge, čime je stao u obranu Racing Pointa, koji je već drugi put ove sezone optužen za kopiranje dijelova s prošlogodišnjeg Mercedesova bolida.  

Renault je već drugu utrku zaredom prijavio Racing Point zbog kočionih kanala, za koje francuska momčad tvrdi da su kopija Mercedesovog rješenja iz 2019.

Sada se Racing Point, koji koristi Mercedesove motore, nalazi pod istragom Međunarodne automobilističke federacije (FIA), a znakovito je da je momčad dobila nadimak 'ružičasti Mercedes' zbog sličnosti s bolidima koje voze šesterostruki svjetski prvak Lewis Hamilton i Valtteri Bottas.
