Ivica Kostelić, kao i njegov otac Ante, godinama upozorava kako se skijanje degradira, odnosno kako se ide linijom manjeg postavljanjem manje zahtjevnih staza nego što je bio ranije slučaj.

Danas je Kostelić na svojem Facebooku postavio dvije fotografije i obratio se FIS- u, njegovom predsjedniku Johanu Eliaschu.

- Pogledajte ove dvije fotografije. Obje prikazuju slalomsku vožnju. Prva je snimljena vjerojatno prije 50 godina, a druga je snimljena nedavno na utrkama Europa kupa u Leviju. Ogroman kontrast ovih postavki savršen je primjer nazadovanja i upornog zanemarivanja slaloma. Kako je moguće da smo išli iz jednog stanja u drugo? Kako je moguće da sportaši, trening i tehnologija idu naprijed, a kriteriji padaju na dno - pita se Kostelić pa nastavlja:

- To je, naravno, proces koji traje. Degradacija razine kriterija bila je spora, ali postojana. Godinama su se donosile pogrešne odluke pa je razina urušena zbog toga kao i zbog kratkoročnih modela bez jasne perspektive i sportskih načela. Sada će tužna era industrijskog slaloma nastaviti proizvoditi mehaničke robote koji će izbjegavati i pogrešno tumačiti atletske vrijednosti. Slalomi poput ovog sa starije slike su izgradili reputaciju slaloma (i alpskog skijanja). Što se mene tiče, uvijek ću se čuditi kako svi sportovi vode računa o kriteriju, usklađuju ga s razinom koja stalno ide naprijed, a skijanje ide prema nazad. Ugled se već počeo gasiti i mladi negdje drugdje traže ‘brže, više, jače‘ - napisao je Kostelić te zaključio:

- Pokušajte pronaći svoj put kroz dobri stari slalom. Morat ćete barem razmisliti.

Ivica Kostelić, kao i njegov otac Ante, godinama upozorava kako se skijanje degradira, odnosno kako se ide linijom manjeg postavljanjem manje zahtjevnih staza nego što je bio ranije slučaj.

Danas je Kostelić na svojem Facebooku postavio dvije fotografije i obratio se FIS- u, njegovom predsjedniku Johanu Eliaschu.

- Pogledajte ove dvije fotografije. Obje prikazuju slalomsku vožnju. Prva je snimljena vjerojatno prije 50 godina, a druga je snimljena nedavno na utrkama Europa kupa u Leviju. Ogroman kontrast ovih postavki savršen je primjer nazadovanja i upornog zanemarivanja slaloma. Kako je moguće da smo išli iz jednog stanja u drugo? Kako je moguće da sportaši, trening i tehnologija idu naprijed, a kriteriji padaju na dno - pita se Kostelić pa nastavlja:

- To je, naravno, proces koji traje. Degradacija razine kriterija bila je spora, ali postojana. Godinama su se donosile pogrešne odluke pa je razina urušena zbog toga kao i zbog kratkoročnih modela bez jasne perspektive i sportskih načela. Sada će tužna era industrijskog slaloma nastaviti proizvoditi mehaničke robote koji će izbjegavati i pogrešno tumačiti atletske vrijednosti. Slalomi poput ovog sa starije slike su izgradili reputaciju slaloma (i alpskog skijanja). Što se mene tiče, uvijek ću se čuditi kako svi sportovi vode računa o kriteriju, usklađuju ga s razinom koja stalno ide naprijed, a skijanje ide prema nazad. Ugled se već počeo gasiti i mladi negdje drugdje traže ‘brže, više, jače‘ - napisao je Kostelić te zaključio:

- Pokušajte pronaći svoj put kroz dobri stari slalom. Morat ćete barem razmisliti.

Ivica Kostelić prozvao čelnike svjetskog skijanja i objavio dvije fotografije: ‘Kako je ovo moguće?‘

Ivica Kostelić, kao i njegov otac Ante, godinama upozorava kako se skijanje degradira, odnosno kako se ide linijom manjeg postavljanjem manje zahtjevnih staza nego što je bio ranije slučaj.

Danas je Kostelić na svojem Facebooku postavio dvije fotografije i obratio se FIS- u, njegovom predsjedniku Johanu Eliaschu.

- Pogledajte ove dvije fotografije. Obje prikazuju slalomsku vožnju. Prva je snimljena vjerojatno prije 50 godina, a druga je snimljena nedavno na utrkama Europa kupa u Leviju. Ogroman kontrast ovih postavki savršen je primjer nazadovanja i upornog zanemarivanja slaloma. Kako je moguće da smo išli iz jednog stanja u drugo? Kako je moguće da sportaši, trening i tehnologija idu naprijed, a kriteriji padaju na dno - pita se Kostelić pa nastavlja:

- To je, naravno, proces...
