Razočaranje? Za to u Ženevi nije bilo mjesta. AZ Alkmaar je odnio trofej, ali za sve nas Hajdukovi juniori su prvaci Europe.

Kada ti je najbolji igrač vratar s pet primljenih golova, onda znaš da igra nije bila dobra. Usprkos tome što je kapitulirao, Borna Buljan igrao je najbolje prvo poluvrijeme svoje mlade karijere. Skidao je zicere. AZ je prijetio, pogodak je visio u zraku. No, Buljan je držao svoju mrežu čistom do gotovo posljednje sekunde prvog dijela. 

A onda su Nizozemci poveli iz kaznenog udarca kojeg je skrivio Luka Vušković. Nepotrebno je Vušković startao, lopta je već skoro bila izašla u korner. Addai je pucao, Buljan je pogodio stranu, zamalo bio na lopti, no udarac Addaija bio je u milimetar precizan.

Bio je Addai prava napast za obranu „bilih tića”. Nekoliko je puta bio blizu pogotka, no Buljan je sve poskidao. Nije Hajduk mogao ni do lopte, ni do prilika. Pamti se tek pokušaj iz osme minute kada je Hrgović pokušao iz daljine. Bilo je to poluvrijeme za zaborav, lošije nego ono iz polufinala s Milanom.

Budimir je za drugi dio pribjegao istom rješenju. Zamijenio je strane Brajkoviću i Vrciću. Protiv Milana je to ekspresno donijelo plod. No, na to je trener AZ-a Jan Sierksma odgovorio uvođenjem Mexxa Meerdinka, toliko spominjanog napadača.

Živnuo je Hajduk u nastavku, a najbolje prilika uslijedila je u 54. minuti kada je Vrcić probio po desnoj strani i ubacio za Pukštasa čiji je pokušaj za malo završio pored gola. Pokušaj Antunovića zaustavio je vratar Owusu-Oduro.

Probudio se Hajduk u nastavku. Shvatili su Budimirovi momci da nemaju više što čekati. Otvorila se igra „bilih tića”. Kavelj je sve češće i dalje izlazio s pozicije stopera. No, umjesto izjednačenja AZ je do kraja samo povećavao vodstvo. Otišao je rezultat visoko. Potonuli su „bili tići”, teško ih je držao i neprestani huk s tribina.

Nizozemcima se mora skinuti kapu, čestitati im na zasluženoj pobjedi. Fantastičan turnir je za njima. Pobijediti Barcelonu, Real, Sporting, Hajduk... I nisu zaslužili nego osvojiti trofej juniorske Lige prvaka. Nevjerojatno talentiranu generaciju ima AZ. Stotine milijuna eura slit će se u njihovu kasu za nekoliko godina kada krene prodaja...

Ali ima se čime podičiti i Hajduk. Nećemo zbog ovoga zaboraviti svu radost koju nam je Budimirova „prgava familija” pružila. Ej, pa oni su druga najbolja juniorska momčad Europe! Igrali su finale Lige prvaka. Uspjeh je to koji se ne pamti u bogatoj povijesti Hajduka. Domet je ovo koji će biti teško nadmašiti. I ne, nismo zaboravili. Ovo je i dalje Hajduk!

- Šampioni, šampioni – to je poruka Hajdukovog puta u juniorskoj Ligi prvaka.

Razočaranje? Za to u Ženevi nije bilo mjesta. AZ Alkmaar je odnio trofej, ali za sve nas Hajdukovi juniori su prvaci Europe.

Kada ti je najbolji igrač vratar s pet primljenih golova, onda znaš da igra nije bila dobra. Usprkos tome što je kapitulirao, Borna Buljan igrao je najbolje prvo poluvrijeme svoje mlade karijere. Skidao je zicere. AZ je prijetio, pogodak je visio u zraku. No, Buljan je držao svoju mrežu čistom do gotovo posljednje sekunde prvog dijela. 

A onda su Nizozemci poveli iz kaznenog udarca kojeg je skrivio Luka Vušković. Nepotrebno je Vušković startao, lopta je već skoro bila izašla u korner. Addai je pucao, Buljan je pogodio stranu, zamalo bio na lopti, no udarac Addaija bio je u milimetar precizan.

Bio je Addai prava napast za obranu „bilih tića”. Nekoliko je puta bio blizu pogotka, no Buljan je sve poskidao. Nije Hajduk mogao ni do lopte, ni do prilika. Pamti se tek pokušaj iz osme minute kada je Hrgović pokušao iz daljine. Bilo je to poluvrijeme za zaborav, lošije nego ono iz polufinala s Milanom.

Budimir je za drugi dio pribjegao istom rješenju. Zamijenio je strane Brajkoviću i Vrciću. Protiv Milana je to ekspresno donijelo plod. No, na to je trener AZ-a Jan Sierksma odgovorio uvođenjem Mexxa Meerdinka, toliko spominjanog napadača.

Živnuo je Hajduk u nastavku, a najbolje prilika uslijedila je u 54. minuti kada je Vrcić probio po desnoj strani i ubacio za Pukštasa čiji je pokušaj za malo završio pored gola. Pokušaj Antunovića zaustavio je vratar Owusu-Oduro.

Probudio se Hajduk u nastavku. Shvatili su Budimirovi momci da nemaju više što čekati. Otvorila se igra „bilih tića”. Kavelj je sve češće i dalje izlazio s pozicije stopera. No, umjesto izjednačenja AZ je do kraja samo povećavao vodstvo. Otišao je rezultat visoko. Potonuli su „bili tići”, teško ih je držao i neprestani huk s tribina.

Nizozemcima se mora skinuti kapu, čestitati im na zasluženoj pobjedi. Fantastičan turnir je za njima. Pobijediti Barcelonu, Real, Sporting, Hajduk... I nisu zaslužili nego osvojiti trofej juniorske Lige prvaka. Nevjerojatno talentiranu generaciju ima AZ. Stotine milijuna eura slit će se u njihovu kasu za nekoliko godina kada krene prodaja...

Ali ima se čime podičiti i Hajduk. Nećemo zbog ovoga zaboraviti svu radost koju nam je Budimirova „prgava familija” pružila. Ej, pa oni su druga najbolja juniorska momčad Europe! Igrali su finale Lige prvaka. Uspjeh je to koji se ne pamti u bogatoj povijesti Hajduka. Domet je ovo koji će biti teško nadmašiti. I ne, nismo zaboravili. Ovo je i dalje Hajduk!

- Šampioni, šampioni – to je poruka Hajdukovog puta u juniorskoj Ligi prvaka.

Razočaranje? Za to u Ženevi nije bilo mjesta. AZ Alkmaar je odnio trofej, ali za sve nas Hajdukovi juniori su prvaci Europe.

Kada ti je najbolji igrač vratar s pet primljenih golova, onda znaš da igra nije bila dobra. Usprkos tome što je kapitulirao, Borna Buljan igrao je najbolje prvo poluvrijeme svoje mlade karijere. Skidao je zicere. AZ je prijetio, pogodak je visio u zraku. No, Buljan je držao svoju mrežu čistom do gotovo posljednje sekunde prvog dijela. 

A onda su Nizozemci poveli iz kaznenog udarca kojeg je skrivio Luka Vušković. Nepotrebno je Vušković startao, lopta je već skoro bila izašla u korner. Addai je pucao, Buljan je pogodio stranu, zamalo bio na lopti, no udarac Addaija bio je...
