Život piše romane, rekli smo nebrojeno puta, a u to se svaki dan uvjeravamo. 

Frane Bitunjac i Jan Mlakar, neobična je priča ususret šesnaestini finala kupa što je Hajduk u utorak igra kod Primorca u Biogradu.

Bitunjac je bio nekoć u planovima Hajduka da dođe u Poljud kao nadareni kadet/junior Šibenika, a onda se spletom okolnosti, dobre ponude iz Italije, našao u Fiorentini i tamo zatekao – Mlakara.

Družili su se godinu-dvije u Firenci, gradu koji obožava svoje ljubičaste i vežu ih sjajne uspomene. Na primjer, zajedno su u momčadi juniora igrali s Federicom Chiesom, današnjim reprezentativcem Italije iz redova Juventusa i prvakom Europe.

- Zamislite, kakva momčad, u napadu Chiesa i Mlakar, a ja ih podržavam iz veznog reda... Guram ih u šanse – prisjeća se Bitunjac.

Često su trenirali s prvom momčadi Fiorentine koju je onda vodio Portugalac Paulo Sousa.

Bilo je to doba kad su u Fiorentini bili i Dabro i Bagadur, Badelj i Nikola Kalinić i Rebić... Sva plejada naših.

- A onda su dogodine došli još i Hrvoje Milić i Josip Maganjić...

Razne karijere, snovi, pokušaji. Više ili manje uspješni.

- S Janom sam u kontaktu i pohvalio mi se ljetos da dolazi u Hajduk i rekao mi je sad da su ga sjajno primili, da je oduševljen. Sad ćemo se vidjeti...

A kakva će biti utakmica?

- Lipa. Dat ćemo sve od sebe da se pokažemo. Hajduk je, fala bogu, veliki favorit, a bit će fešta jer živimo za tu utakmicu danima. To je utakmica generacije, za pamćenje. Jedva čekamo utorak.

Frane Bitunjac ima 24 godine, trebao je u Hajduk svojedobno, putem se zagubio. Neka nam ispriča, da se predstavi, kao na Potjeri.

- Mi smo vam Bitunjci iz Drniša, točnije iz Kričaka, živimo u Kninu, otac Dubravko i majka Ivana. ja sam se rodio u Splitu jer mi je majka Ivana, djevojački Krolo, iz Muća, a njeni baka i dida žive u Splitu i često sam kod njih.Mlađi brat Bruno ima 21 i igra u Zagori, sa mnom je bio i u Fiorentini. Najmlađi Toni ima 13, nije u sportu.

Kako to mali Frane nije došao u Hajduk svojedobno?

- Najprije me je u Dinari zapazio Šibenik, pa sam bio u Šibeniku i onda me Hajduk pozvao na turnir u Karlovac, trener je bio Teo Pirija, bio je za to da ostanem, bila je to generacija 1997. Nikola Vlašić, Andrija Balić, Karlo Letica, Marin Ljubić... Pirija me htio, ali kad smo se dogovarali oko smještaja i stipendije uvijek je zapinjalo. U Hajduku milijun struja. Onda me u igri za reprezentaciju Hrvatske, koju je vodio Ivan Gudelj, zapazio skaut Fiorentine i otišao sam tamo. Ugovor na tri plus dvije godine i još smo brata Brunu poveli u Firencu da igra. Izgledalo je kao bajka...

Danas, u Biogradu, a nakon igranja i za Zagoru iz Unešića, kako vam se čini? Jeste li pogriješili što ste rano otišli u inozemstvo?

- Financijski sam dobro prošao, s te strane nisam falio. Kad te zove Fiorentina nije lako odbit, a i zašto bih? Nisam pogodio kad sam raskinuo ugovor na svoju štetu. Fiorentina me slala na posudbu u Bresciju, a meni se više igralo seniorski nogomet doma. Mislio sam da ću imat stalnu minutažu. U Šibenik sam se vratio, u drugu ligu, ali nisam dobio priliku, pa sam otišao u Zagoru. Trebao sam ljetos u Litvu, nije uspjelo, pa sam prihvatio ponudu iz Biograda. Brat Bruno je ostao u Zagori. Lijepo mi je u Biogradu, dobra smo ekipa.

Kakav ste vi igrač, nekad velika nada, bivši juniorski reprezentativac? Niste realizirali očekivanja?

- Treba dalje bit uporan. Od moje generacije Vlašić je napravio sjajnu karijeru, Balić je u Slovačkoj, a Ćorić se traži. No, ima ugovor s Romom, pa mu je lakše. Meni je teško o sebi govorit, recimo da sam veznjak sličan Brozoviću, ‘box to box’. Mogu dosta trčat i agresivan sam.

- Dosta je jaka.

A tko je najbolji igrač Juga? Recimo Drago Gabrić igra sjajno u Zagori.

- Teško mi je to reći, ima i u mom Primorcu nekoliko kandidata...

Život piše romane, rekli smo nebrojeno puta, a u to se svaki dan uvjeravamo. 

Frane Bitunjac i Jan Mlakar, neobična je priča ususret šesnaestini finala kupa što je Hajduk u utorak igra kod Primorca u Biogradu.

Bitunjac je bio nekoć u planovima Hajduka da dođe u Poljud kao nadareni kadet/junior Šibenika, a onda se spletom okolnosti, dobre ponude iz Italije, našao u Fiorentini i tamo zatekao – Mlakara.

Družili su se godinu-dvije u Firenci, gradu koji obožava svoje ljubičaste i vežu ih sjajne uspomene. Na primjer, zajedno su u momčadi juniora igrali s Federicom Chiesom, današnjim reprezentativcem Italije iz redova Juventusa i prvakom Europe.

- Zamislite, kakva momčad, u napadu Chiesa i Mlakar, a ja ih podržavam iz veznog reda... Guram ih u šanse – prisjeća se Bitunjac.

Često su trenirali s prvom momčadi Fiorentine koju je onda vodio Portugalac Paulo Sousa.

Bilo je to doba kad su u Fiorentini bili i Dabro i Bagadur, Badelj i Nikola Kalinić i Rebić... Sva plejada naših.

- A onda su dogodine došli još i Hrvoje Milić i Josip Maganjić...

Razne karijere, snovi, pokušaji. Više ili manje uspješni.

- S Janom sam u kontaktu i pohvalio mi se ljetos da dolazi u Hajduk i rekao mi je sad da su ga sjajno primili, da je oduševljen. Sad ćemo se vidjeti...

A kakva će biti utakmica?

- Lipa. Dat ćemo sve od sebe da se pokažemo. Hajduk je, fala bogu, veliki favorit, a bit će fešta jer živimo za tu utakmicu danima. To je utakmica generacije, za pamćenje. Jedva čekamo utorak.

Frane Bitunjac ima 24 godine, trebao je u Hajduk svojedobno, putem se zagubio. Neka nam ispriča, da se predstavi, kao na Potjeri.

- Mi smo vam Bitunjci iz Drniša, točnije iz Kričaka, živimo u Kninu, otac Dubravko i majka Ivana. ja sam se rodio u Splitu jer mi je majka Ivana, djevojački Krolo, iz Muća, a njeni baka i dida žive u Splitu i često sam kod njih.Mlađi brat Bruno ima 21 i igra u Zagori, sa mnom je bio i u Fiorentini. Najmlađi Toni ima 13, nije u sportu.

Kako to mali Frane nije došao u Hajduk svojedobno?

- Najprije me je u Dinari zapazio Šibenik, pa sam bio u Šibeniku i onda me Hajduk pozvao na turnir u Karlovac, trener je bio Teo Pirija, bio je za to da ostanem, bila je to generacija 1997. Nikola Vlašić, Andrija Balić, Karlo Letica, Marin Ljubić... Pirija me htio, ali kad smo se dogovarali oko smještaja i stipendije uvijek je zapinjalo. U Hajduku milijun struja. Onda me u igri za reprezentaciju Hrvatske, koju je vodio Ivan Gudelj, zapazio skaut Fiorentine i otišao sam tamo. Ugovor na tri plus dvije godine i još smo brata Brunu poveli u Firencu da igra. Izgledalo je kao bajka...

Danas, u Biogradu, a nakon igranja i za Zagoru iz Unešića, kako vam se čini? Jeste li pogriješili što ste rano otišli u inozemstvo?

- Financijski sam dobro prošao, s te strane nisam falio. Kad te zove Fiorentina nije lako odbit, a i zašto bih? Nisam pogodio kad sam raskinuo ugovor na svoju štetu. Fiorentina me slala na posudbu u Bresciju, a meni se više igralo seniorski nogomet doma. Mislio sam da ću imat stalnu minutažu. U Šibenik sam se vratio, u drugu ligu, ali nisam dobio priliku, pa sam otišao u Zagoru. Trebao sam ljetos u Litvu, nije uspjelo, pa sam prihvatio ponudu iz Biograda. Brat Bruno je ostao u Zagori. Lijepo mi je u Biogradu, dobra smo ekipa.

Kakav ste vi igrač, nekad velika nada, bivši juniorski reprezentativac? Niste realizirali očekivanja?

- Treba dalje bit uporan. Od moje generacije Vlašić je napravio sjajnu karijeru, Balić je u Slovačkoj, a Ćorić se traži. No, ima ugovor s Romom, pa mu je lakše. Meni je teško o sebi govorit, recimo da sam veznjak sličan Brozoviću, ‘box to box’. Mogu dosta trčat i agresivan sam.

- Dosta je jaka.

A tko je najbolji igrač Juga? Recimo Drago Gabrić igra sjajno u Zagori.

- Teško mi je to reći, ima i u mom Primorcu nekoliko kandidata...
