Iskusni kapetan Slavena Belupa Tomislav Božić produljio je ovih dana ugovor do ljeta 2025. sezone. Iako je nedavno navršio 36 godina, još mu nije dosta izazova na vrhunskoj nogometnoj razini - pišu Sportske novosti.

- Moram priznati da uživam u svakom trenutku provedenom na terenu. Kad dođu te neke godine, čovjek razmišlja da se približava i kraj karijere, ali drago mi je da će ova moja priča potrajati još najmanje godinu i pol dana. Baš uživam u nogometu, zabavljam se, to mi je najbitnije - ističe Božić.

Tetiva više ne brine

Naravno, ne bi mogao opstati tako dugo u žrvnju profesionalnog sporta da mu “fizikalije” nisu na potrebnoj razini.

- Osjećam se odlično! Nakon operacije Ahilove tetive brinuo sam se kako će sve to izgledati kad počnem igrati s obzirom na to da nisam prošao pripreme. Međutim, stvarno se osjećam jako dobro, zadnjih mjesec i pol dana više nema nikakve boli i najbitnije je da sam zdrav. Želim si samo zdravlja, a ovo drugo pomalo, što dragi Bog da.

Ne krije Božić da mu je bogato iskustvo od velikog značaja.

- Otkako je došao trener Ferenčina, počeo sam igrati. Prve dvije utakmice sam odigrao na iskustvo jer nisam bio spreman ni tjelesno, ni psihički. Međutim, iskustvo je iskustvo, to je ono što mlađi igrači ne mogu razumjeti, a nisam ni ja kad sam bio mlad. Iza mene je jako velik broj utakmica i to mi je jako puno pomoglo.

Osjeća i da ga Slavenovi navijači cijene.

- Primio sam jako puno poruka, čak iznenađujuće velik broj. Ljudi su mi od srca čestitali, od prijatelja i ljudi oko kluba, pa do navijača koje sam možda sreo jednom ili dvaput na stadionu ili u gradu. Isto to sam osjetio i nakon operacije, odnosno kad sam rekao da sam ranije igrao s bolovima. To i jest jedan od razloga zašto sam ostao živjeti u Koprivnici. Moja obitelj i ja ovdje imamo prelijepi status, stvarno nam je lijepo, uživamo ovdje. I sinu je super, doista nam ništa ne nedostaje, a sve to zahvaljujući ljudima kojima smo okruženi i njihovom podrškom. Oni su mi olakšali odluku da ostanem ovdje.

Pobjedom protiv Lokomotive momčad Farmaceuta je prebrodila mini-krizu, a Božić ističe kako je u svlačionici odlična atmosfera uoči tri jaka ispita u završnici jeseni.

- Jesmo autsajderi u tim utakmicama protiv Dinama, Rijeke i Osijeka, ali s druge strane znamo da možemo i u svakom od tih susreta probat ćemo nešto napraviti.

Danas u Koprivnicu dolazi Dinamo s imperativom pobjede, a sigurno je samo da igrače obje momčadi na Apašu čekaju teški i zahtjevni uvjeti.

- Dinamo je odigrao najviše utakmica, pratimo ih i u Europi i u prvenstvu, dobro ih poznajemo i nema tu nekih iznenađenja. Dobra su, kvalitetna ekipa, a s obzirom na vremensku prognozu, bojim se da neće biti previše kvalitetnog nogometa po hladnoći i niskoj temperaturi. Volio bih da se skupi veći broj navijača i da ih vrijeme neće spriječiti u dolasku na stadion.

Što Slaven može protiv izrazitog favorita, koji je u posljednje vrijeme lako odnosio bodove iz Podravine?

- Dinamo ima jako dobre individualce, imaju kvalitetu. HNL je liga u kojoj nikoga ne treba unaprijed otpisati. Iako je Dinamo na papiru favorit, ipak će se i nas nešto pitati. Uostalom, igramo doma i to također nije nebitno. S druge strane, i oni imaju neke svoje probleme, muče se, i bilo bi lijepo to iskoristiti. Mislim da to ipak najviše ovisi o nama. Ako ćemo mi biti pravi, onda se svašta može. Ako ne uđemo dobro u utakmicu, onda je tako svejedno tko je s druge strane. Dinamo ima tri-četiri pojedinca koji mogu riješiti utakmicu, dok mi manji moramo djelovati kao ekipa kako bismo mogli ostvariti rezultat protiv jačeg suparnika - zaključio je Božić.

Iskusni kapetan Slavena Belupa Tomislav Božić produljio je ovih dana ugovor do ljeta 2025. sezone. Iako je nedavno navršio 36 godina, još mu nije dosta izazova na vrhunskoj nogometnoj razini - pišu Sportske novosti.

- Moram priznati da uživam u svakom trenutku provedenom na terenu. Kad dođu te neke godine, čovjek razmišlja da se približava i kraj karijere, ali drago mi je da će ova moja priča potrajati još najmanje godinu i pol dana. Baš uživam u nogometu, zabavljam se, to mi je najbitnije - ističe Božić.

Tetiva više ne brine

Naravno, ne bi mogao opstati tako dugo u žrvnju profesionalnog sporta da mu “fizikalije” nisu na potrebnoj razini.

- Osjećam se odlično! Nakon operacije Ahilove tetive brinuo sam se kako će sve to izgledati kad počnem igrati s obzirom na to da nisam prošao pripreme. Međutim, stvarno se osjećam jako dobro, zadnjih mjesec i pol dana više nema nikakve boli i najbitnije je da sam zdrav. Želim si samo zdravlja, a ovo drugo pomalo, što dragi Bog da.

Ne krije Božić da mu je bogato iskustvo od velikog značaja.

- Otkako je došao trener Ferenčina, počeo sam igrati. Prve dvije utakmice sam odigrao na iskustvo jer nisam bio spreman ni tjelesno, ni psihički. Međutim, iskustvo je iskustvo, to je ono što mlađi igrači ne mogu razumjeti, a nisam ni ja kad sam bio mlad. Iza mene je jako velik broj utakmica i to mi je jako puno pomoglo.

Osjeća i da ga Slavenovi navijači cijene.

- Primio sam jako puno poruka, čak iznenađujuće velik broj. Ljudi su mi od srca čestitali, od prijatelja i ljudi oko kluba, pa do navijača koje sam možda sreo jednom ili dvaput na stadionu ili u gradu. Isto to sam osjetio i nakon operacije, odnosno kad sam rekao da sam ranije igrao s bolovima. To i jest jedan od razloga zašto sam ostao živjeti u Koprivnici. Moja obitelj i ja ovdje imamo prelijepi status, stvarno nam je lijepo, uživamo ovdje. I sinu je super, doista nam ništa ne nedostaje, a sve to zahvaljujući ljudima kojima smo okruženi i njihovom podrškom. Oni su mi olakšali odluku da ostanem ovdje.

Pobjedom protiv Lokomotive momčad Farmaceuta je prebrodila mini-krizu, a Božić ističe kako je u svlačionici odlična atmosfera uoči tri jaka ispita u završnici jeseni.

- Jesmo autsajderi u tim utakmicama protiv Dinama, Rijeke i Osijeka, ali s druge strane znamo da možemo i u svakom od tih susreta probat ćemo nešto napraviti.

Danas u Koprivnicu dolazi Dinamo s imperativom pobjede, a sigurno je samo da igrače obje momčadi na Apašu čekaju teški i zahtjevni uvjeti.

- Dinamo je odigrao najviše utakmica, pratimo ih i u Europi i u prvenstvu, dobro ih poznajemo i nema tu nekih iznenađenja. Dobra su, kvalitetna ekipa, a s obzirom na vremensku prognozu, bojim se da neće biti previše kvalitetnog nogometa po hladnoći i niskoj temperaturi. Volio bih da se skupi veći broj navijača i da ih vrijeme neće spriječiti u dolasku na stadion.

Što Slaven može protiv izrazitog favorita, koji je u posljednje vrijeme lako odnosio bodove iz Podravine?

- Dinamo ima jako dobre individualce, imaju kvalitetu. HNL je liga u kojoj nikoga ne treba unaprijed otpisati. Iako je Dinamo na papiru favorit, ipak će se i nas nešto pitati. Uostalom, igramo doma i to također nije nebitno. S druge strane, i oni imaju neke svoje probleme, muče se, i bilo bi lijepo to iskoristiti. Mislim da to ipak najviše ovisi o nama. Ako ćemo mi biti pravi, onda se svašta može. Ako ne uđemo dobro u utakmicu, onda je tako svejedno tko je s druge strane. Dinamo ima tri-četiri pojedinca koji mogu riješiti utakmicu, dok mi manji moramo djelovati kao ekipa kako bismo mogli ostvariti rezultat protiv jačeg suparnika - zaključio je Božić.
