Danas je u Rogoznici velika svetkovina. Po 299. put Rogozničani, brojni hodočasnici i turisti zajedno s desetak svećenika i šibenskim biskupom Tomislavom Rogićem dočekali su na Caparinovoj rivi Gospin brod. Iako se ovaj sakralni događaj svake godine ponavlja i gotovo svake godine ponavljamo istu priču, ona uvijek iznova ima istu magičnost i istu emocionalnu dimenziju. Nije je stoga na odmet ponovno ispričati.
Gospina slika dovozi se brodom preko rogozničke vale u pratnji svećenika i mladih djevojaka odjevenih u bijeljini. Na dijelu rive koja nosi povijesni toponim, Caparinova riva, Gospinu sliku dočekuje šibenski biskup u pratnji desetak svećenika i na stotine vjernika i potom svi zajedno u svečanoj procesiji Sliku prenose u župnu crkvu Uznesenja Djevice Marije. Gospina slika ostaje u župnoj crkvi do prve nedjelje iza Gospe od Karmela, kada se u svečanoj procesiji morem i kopnom vraća u svoje svetište na rtu poluotoka Gradine. U procesiji sudjeluje stotine brodica i tisuće vjernika, koji prelaze pješice oko 2,5 kilometra zavjetnog puta, mnogi često i bosi. Gospin brod prate i kupači, a svake godine sve više stranih jahti i turista koji sudjeluje u procesiji.
Blagdan Gospe od Kapelice i ujedno i Dan općine Rogoznica. Taj dan se bira posebnom pažnjom, mora biti znakovit, ukorijenjen u povijesnoj memoriji svekolikog puka. Nije stoga čudno što su Rogozničani su za dan svoje općine izabrali blagdan Gospe od Kapelice. Osobita je to i autentična lokalna marijanska svetkovina koja se štuje još od daleke 1722. godine. Iako rogozničko svetište nije masovno hodočasničko odredište priča vezana za taj vjerski sadržaj ima sve elemnte čudotvornosti.
Prvo čudo je samo pronalazak slavne slike. Prema predaji, ribar Ivan Bogavčić–Tuburko, daleke 1722. godine, loveći ribu oko rta poluotoka Gradine ugledao je neobičnu svjetlost. Kada se približio stijeni, s koje je dopirala svjetlost, našao je Gospinu sliku koja prikazuje Marijin posjet rođakinji Elizabeti. Sliku je odnio kući i spremio je u škrinju, ali se ona na neobjašnjivi način vratila na isto mjesto. I tako se to ponovilo tri puta. Uskoro su mještani zajedno s ondašnjim svećenikom odlučili na tom mjestu izgraditi malu kapelicu, a svečanost sadašnjem obliku utemeljena je 1776. godine.
Impresivna je i riznica Gospinih zavjetnih darova. Svake godine u procesije moguće je vidjeti prekrasan starohrvatski nakit koje su rogozničke žene darivale svojoj zaštitnici.
Ovaj znameniti lokalni sadržaj zapeo je za fotografski aparat filmskog i televizijskog snimatelja, likovnog umjetnika i fotografa Šime Strikomana. Dio je njegove edicije Terra Croatica, a čitava edicija zajedno s Gospinim Brodom nalazi u našoj, ali i u francuskoj nacionalnoj i sveučilišnoj biblioteci.

Danas je u Rogoznici velika svetkovina. Po 299. put Rogozničani, brojni hodočasnici i turisti zajedno s desetak svećenika i šibenskim biskupom Tomislavom Rogićem dočekali su na Caparinovoj rivi Gospin brod. Iako se ovaj sakralni događaj svake godine ponavlja i gotovo svake godine ponavljamo istu priču, ona uvijek iznova ima istu magičnost i istu emocionalnu dimenziju. Nije je stoga na odmet ponovno ispričati.
Gospina slika dovozi se brodom preko rogozničke vale u pratnji svećenika i mladih djevojaka odjevenih u bijeljini. Na dijelu rive koja nosi povijesni toponim, Caparinova riva, Gospinu sliku dočekuje šibenski biskup u pratnji desetak svećenika i na stotine vjernika i potom svi zajedno u svečanoj procesiji Sliku prenose u župnu crkvu Uznesenja Djevice Marije. Gospina slika ostaje u župnoj crkvi do prve nedjelje iza Gospe od Karmela, kada se u svečanoj procesiji morem i kopnom vraća u svoje svetište na rtu poluotoka Gradine. U procesiji sudjeluje stotine brodica i tisuće vjernika, koji prelaze pješice oko 2,5 kilometra zavjetnog puta, mnogi često i bosi. Gospin brod prate i kupači, a svake godine sve više stranih jahti i turista koji sudjeluje u procesiji.
Blagdan Gospe od Kapelice i ujedno i Dan općine Rogoznica. Taj dan se bira posebnom pažnjom, mora biti znakovit, ukorijenjen u povijesnoj memoriji svekolikog puka. Nije stoga čudno što su Rogozničani su za dan svoje općine izabrali blagdan Gospe od Kapelice. Osobita je to i autentična lokalna marijanska svetkovina koja se štuje još od daleke 1722. godine. Iako rogozničko svetište nije masovno hodočasničko odredište priča vezana za taj vjerski sadržaj ima sve elemnte čudotvornosti.
Prvo čudo je samo pronalazak slavne slike. Prema predaji, ribar Ivan Bogavčić–Tuburko, daleke 1722. godine, loveći ribu oko rta poluotoka Gradine ugledao je neobičnu svjetlost. Kada se približio stijeni, s koje je dopirala svjetlost, našao je Gospinu sliku koja prikazuje Marijin posjet rođakinji Elizabeti. Sliku je odnio kući i spremio je u škrinju, ali se ona na neobjašnjivi način vratila na isto mjesto. I tako se to ponovilo tri puta. Uskoro su mještani zajedno s ondašnjim svećenikom odlučili na tom mjestu izgraditi malu kapelicu, a svečanost sadašnjem obliku utemeljena je 1776. godine.
Impresivna je i riznica Gospinih zavjetnih darova. Svake godine u procesije moguće je vidjeti prekrasan starohrvatski nakit koje su rogozničke žene darivale svojoj zaštitnici.
Ovaj znameniti lokalni sadržaj zapeo je za fotografski aparat filmskog i televizijskog snimatelja, likovnog umjetnika i fotografa Šime Strikomana. Dio je njegove edicije Terra Croatica, a čitava edicija zajedno s Gospinim Brodom nalazi u našoj, ali i u francuskoj nacionalnoj i sveučilišnoj biblioteci.
