U susret obilježavanju slavnog Šibenskog rujanskog rata vrijedi se podsjetiti 18. rujna 1991. godine, kad je gradsko kupalište Jadrija imalo tog dana više ranjenih nego sa svih strana opkoljeni Vukovar!

Šibenčani, koji se, zbog dolaska četnika i JNA na Šibenski most, nisu mogli vratiti se kući, guštali su na suncu u "žuji" i smokvama, kad se čuo zlokobni zvuk zrakoplova, koji je iz pravca Šibenika letio prema Prviću. Pilot se, međutim, u jednom trenutku vratio prema Jadriji, te istresao smrtonosni teret. Posada agresorskog "galeba" bacila je kazetnu bombu, te snažno mitraljirala dio vikendica, porušivši i trgovinu nekad velike tvrtke "Šibenka" na ulazu u Jadriju. Sve je bilo nalik krvavom slavonskom bojištu, a ne gradskom kupalištu.

Jadrijaši su se poslije toga povukli u podrume. Jedan stariji čovjek nije mogao izdržati, a da se ne oglasi indikativnim rečenicama: - Mi smo u ovom podrumu nacionalno šareni kao da je zasjedanje AVNOJ-a. Sad zaista nemam pojma tko u ovom ratu koga napada, a tko koga brani!?

Šestorica ranjenih ukrcani su u malu brodicu, te s bijelom zastavom na provi prebačeni u Zablaće, pa dalje u šibensku bolnicu. Valja iskreno priznati da vojnici JNA iz uvale Minerska nisu otvarali vatru na tu brodicu.

Zrakoplovni napad nije bio tog dana jedini problem za Jadriju. Buknuo je veliki požar, koji je mala skupina jadrijaša uzalud pokušavala zaustaviti. Srećom, vjetar se u zadnji tren preobrazio iz bure u jugo, pa je vatra ugašena prirodnim putem.

Za kraj vrijedi istaknuti još nešto. Možda ne bismo u rubriku uvrstili ovaj tekst da je on u puno širem obliku objavljen u novinama tog fatalnog rujna. No, tekst nikad nije ugledao svjetlo dana. Zašto? To autoru ovih redaka nikad nije objašnjeno.

U susret obilježavanju slavnog Šibenskog rujanskog rata vrijedi se podsjetiti 18. rujna 1991. godine, kad je gradsko kupalište Jadrija imalo tog dana više ranjenih nego sa svih strana opkoljeni Vukovar!

Šibenčani, koji se, zbog dolaska četnika i JNA na Šibenski most, nisu mogli vratiti se kući, guštali su na suncu u "žuji" i smokvama, kad se čuo zlokobni zvuk zrakoplova, koji je iz pravca Šibenika letio prema Prviću. Pilot se, međutim, u jednom trenutku vratio prema Jadriji, te istresao smrtonosni teret. Posada agresorskog "galeba" bacila je kazetnu bombu, te snažno mitraljirala dio vikendica, porušivši i trgovinu nekad velike tvrtke "Šibenka" na ulazu u Jadriju. Sve je bilo nalik krvavom slavonskom bojištu, a ne gradskom kupalištu.

Jadrijaši su se poslije toga povukli u podrume. Jedan stariji čovjek nije mogao izdržati, a da se ne oglasi indikativnim rečenicama: - Mi smo u ovom podrumu nacionalno šareni kao da je zasjedanje AVNOJ-a. Sad zaista nemam pojma tko u ovom ratu koga napada, a tko koga brani!?

Šestorica ranjenih ukrcani su u malu brodicu, te s bijelom zastavom na provi prebačeni u Zablaće, pa dalje u šibensku bolnicu. Valja iskreno priznati da vojnici JNA iz uvale Minerska nisu otvarali vatru na tu brodicu.

Zrakoplovni napad nije bio tog dana jedini problem za Jadriju. Buknuo je veliki požar, koji je mala skupina jadrijaša uzalud pokušavala zaustaviti. Srećom, vjetar se u zadnji tren preobrazio iz bure u jugo, pa je vatra ugašena prirodnim putem.

Šibenikslavni rujanski rat

Sjećanje na dan kada je kultno šibensko gradsko kupalište imalo više ranjenih nego ‘grad heroj‘

U susret obilježavanju slavnog Šibenskog rujanskog rata vrijedi se podsjetiti 18. rujna 1991. godine, kad je gradsko kupalište Jadrija imalo tog dana više ranjenih nego sa svih strana opkoljeni Vukovar!

Šibenčani, koji se, zbog dolaska četnika i JNA na Šibenski most, nisu mogli vratiti se kući, guštali su na suncu u "žuji" i smokvama, kad se čuo zlokobni zvuk zrakoplova, koji je iz pravca Šibenika letio prema Prviću. Pilot se, međutim, u jednom trenutku vratio prema Jadriji, te istresao smrtonosni teret. Posada agresorskog "galeba" bacila je kazetnu bombu, te snažno mitraljirala dio vikendica, porušivši i trgovinu nekad velike tvrtke "Šibenka" na ulazu u Jadriju. Sve je bilo nalik krvavom slavonskom bojištu, a ne gradskom kupalištu.

Jadrijaši su se poslije toga povukli u podrume. Jedan stariji čovjek nije mogao izdržati, a da se ne oglasi indikativnim rečenicama: - Mi smo u ovom podrumu nacionalno šareni kao da je zasjedanje AVNOJ-a. Sad zaista nemam pojma tko u ovom ratu koga napada, a tko koga brani!?

Šestorica ranjenih ukrcani su u malu brodicu, te s bijelom zastavom na provi prebačeni u Zablaće, pa dalje u šibensku bolnicu. Valja iskreno priznati da vojnici JNA iz uvale Minerska nisu otvarali vatru na tu brodicu.

Zrakoplovni napad nije bio tog dana jedini problem za Jadriju. Buknuo je veliki požar, koji je mala skupina jadrijaša uzalud pokušavala zaustaviti. Srećom, vjetar se u zadnji tren preobrazio iz bure u jugo, pa je vatra ugašena prirodnim putem.

Za kraj vrijedi istaknuti još nešto. Možda ne bismo u rubriku uvrstili ovaj tekst da je on u puno širem obliku objavljen u novinama tog fatalnog rujna. No, tekst nikad nije ugledao svjetlo dana. Zašto? To autoru ovih redaka nikad nije objašnjeno.
