Prve dane svoga studentskog života prije tri godine, kada je iz rodnog Gračaca stigla u Šibenik na studij Menadžementa na ovdašnjem Veleučilištu, Ivana Vukančić i danas dobro pamti. Obilježio ih je, reći će, veliki stres. Sve joj je bilo novo i drugačije: sredina, Veleučilište, snalaženje po njegovim hodnicima i predavaonicama, a najviše brige predstavljala joj je potraga za stanom!

Šibenik ima studentski dom smješten na Šubićevcu, u četvrti na suprotnom kraju grada od Baldekina gdje je Veleučilište, pa je i Ivana, poput mnogih priželjkivala stan ili sobu u blizini studija. Usto, dom na Šubićevcu ima samo 70-ak kreveta što zadovoljava potrebe tek malenog broja šibenskih studenta od njih 700-tinjak od kojih 60 posto dolazi iz drugih gradova i županija u Hrvatskoj.

Stan u Šibeniku nikada nije bilo lako naći, a kako je potražnja za njima rasla, rasle su i cijene. Posljednjih godina, kako je turizam uzimao maha i u Krešimirovu gradu, studenti su se suočili i s novim problemom: iz stanova su se sve češće trebali iseliti u jeku ispitnih rokova, a nerijetko već i u svibnju, prije negoli bi završila predavanja. Ivana je, međutim, imala sreće i uspjela je dobiti mjesto u domu.

- U domu na Šubićevcu sam bila sve ove godine. Cimerica mi je prijateljica iz Gračaca, na istoj smo godini i na istom studiju Menadžmenta, završavamo prvu godinu diplomskog specijalističkog stručnog studija. Imale smo dobre ocjene i nije nam bilo teško upasti u dom. Zadovoljna sam jer bih stan duplo plaćala, a cijena kreveta u domu je 600 kuna. Soba je dvokrevetna i dobro je što imamo svoju kupaonicu, a imamo i balkon. Tu nam je sve najosnovnije. Imamo i zajedničku kuhinju s frižiderom, ali nam nedostaje prostor za druženje - govori Ivana.

Problem je, dodaje, i udaljenost Veleučilišta. Javni gradski promet baš i ne funkcionira, nema izravne linije, a i autobusi, osobito u poslijepodnevnim satima rijetko prometuju.

- Lako je kada je lijepo vrijeme. Može se pješice. To je nekih pola sata hoda, ali je zeznuto kada je kiša, bura ili hladno vrijeme. Tada se snalazimo tako što uzmemo taksi ili ja ponekad iz Gračaca dođem autom svojih roditelja pa se onda vozimo do faksa - kazuje Ivana i otkriva kako, kao i ostali, s nestrpljenjem i znatiželjom iščekuje novi dom koji se trenutačno gradi na prostoru bivše vojarne Palacin udaljen samo petnaestak minuta hoda od Veleučilišta. Nada se da će skoro biti završen kako bi barem koji mjesec svog studentskog života u Šibeniku uživala u, kako se naveliko govori, jednom od najmodernijih studentskih domova u Hrvatskoj.

Gradnja doma Palacin trebala bi biti gotova do 1. ožujka iduće godine, nakon čega bi se u njega trebala useliti 332 studenta. Toliko će, naime, u novom domu biti kreveta raspoređenih u dvokrevetnim i jednokrevetnim sobama, a imat će i restoran s oko stotinu mjesta te čitaonicu, sobu za dnevni boravak, ali i vidikovac, dodatni veliki prostor za druženje na vrhu novoizgrađenog kompleksa.

- Trenutno se završavaju betonski radovi na bočnim objektima, a u srednjem zdanju sa staklenom fasadom u tijeku su instalaterski radovi. Nakon toga slijede obrtnički radovi i završno opremanje. Uskoro planiramo nabavu opreme i kompletnog namještaja i to će biti posljednja javna nabava na projektu. Očekujemo tehnički pregled i uporabnu dozvolu početkom ljetnog semestra akademske godine 2021./2022., tj. u ožujku nakon čega će biti moguće useljenje studenata – istaknuo je prodekan za poslovanje Veleučilišta u Šibeniku Frane Urem.

Prve dane svoga studentskog života prije tri godine, kada je iz rodnog Gračaca stigla u Šibenik na studij Menadžementa na ovdašnjem Veleučilištu, Ivana Vukančić i danas dobro pamti. Obilježio ih je, reći će, veliki stres. Sve joj je bilo novo i drugačije: sredina, Veleučilište, snalaženje po njegovim hodnicima i predavaonicama, a najviše brige predstavljala joj je potraga za stanom!

Šibenik ima studentski dom smješten na Šubićevcu, u četvrti na suprotnom kraju grada od Baldekina gdje je Veleučilište, pa je i Ivana, poput mnogih priželjkivala stan ili sobu u blizini studija. Usto, dom na Šubićevcu ima samo 70-ak kreveta što zadovoljava potrebe tek malenog broja šibenskih studenta od njih 700-tinjak od kojih 60 posto dolazi iz drugih gradova i županija u Hrvatskoj.

Stan u Šibeniku nikada nije bilo lako naći, a kako je potražnja za njima rasla, rasle su i cijene. Posljednjih godina, kako je turizam uzimao maha i u Krešimirovu gradu, studenti su se suočili i s novim problemom: iz stanova su se sve češće trebali iseliti u jeku ispitnih rokova, a nerijetko već i u svibnju, prije negoli bi završila predavanja. Ivana je, međutim, imala sreće i uspjela je dobiti mjesto u domu.

- U domu na Šubićevcu sam bila sve ove godine. Cimerica mi je prijateljica iz Gračaca, na istoj smo godini i na istom studiju Menadžmenta, završavamo prvu godinu diplomskog specijalističkog stručnog studija. Imale smo dobre ocjene i nije nam bilo teško upasti u dom. Zadovoljna sam jer bih stan duplo plaćala, a cijena kreveta u domu je 600 kuna. Soba je dvokrevetna i dobro je što imamo svoju kupaonicu, a imamo i balkon. Tu nam je sve najosnovnije. Imamo i zajedničku kuhinju s frižiderom, ali nam nedostaje prostor za druženje - govori Ivana.

Problem je, dodaje, i udaljenost Veleučilišta. Javni gradski promet baš i ne funkcionira, nema izravne linije, a i autobusi, osobito u poslijepodnevnim satima rijetko prometuju.

- Lako je kada je lijepo vrijeme. Može se pješice. To je nekih pola sata hoda, ali je zeznuto kada je kiša, bura ili hladno vrijeme. Tada se snalazimo tako što uzmemo taksi ili ja ponekad iz Gračaca dođem autom svojih roditelja pa se onda vozimo do faksa - kazuje Ivana i otkriva kako, kao i ostali, s nestrpljenjem i znatiželjom iščekuje novi dom koji se trenutačno gradi na prostoru bivše vojarne Palacin udaljen samo petnaestak minuta hoda od Veleučilišta. Nada se da će skoro biti završen kako bi barem koji mjesec svog studentskog života u Šibeniku uživala u, kako se naveliko govori, jednom od najmodernijih studentskih domova u Hrvatskoj.

Gradnja doma Palacin trebala bi biti gotova do 1. ožujka iduće godine, nakon čega bi se u njega trebala useliti 332 studenta. Toliko će, naime, u novom domu biti kreveta raspoređenih u dvokrevetnim i jednokrevetnim sobama, a imat će i restoran s oko stotinu mjesta te čitaonicu, sobu za dnevni boravak, ali i vidikovac, dodatni veliki prostor za druženje na vrhu novoizgrađenog kompleksa.

- Trenutno se završavaju betonski radovi na bočnim objektima, a u srednjem zdanju sa staklenom fasadom u tijeku su instalaterski radovi. Nakon toga slijede obrtnički radovi i završno opremanje. Uskoro planiramo nabavu opreme i kompletnog namještaja i to će biti posljednja javna nabava na projektu. Očekujemo tehnički pregled i uporabnu dozvolu početkom ljetnog semestra akademske godine 2021./2022., tj. u ožujku nakon čega će biti moguće useljenje studenata – istaknuo je prodekan za poslovanje Veleučilišta u Šibeniku Frane Urem.
