Klimatolog Ivan Guttler, zamjenik ravnateljice DHMZ-a, komentirao je ekstremne klimatske prilike diljem svijeta u Newsnightu televizije N1.

"U ljetnoj smo sezoni kad su temperature inače prirodno veće. Ono što mi doživljavamo tijekom 20., sad i 21. stoljeća porast je tih temperaturnih iznosa. U znanosti nikada nemamo sto posto sigurno, ali dokazi pokazuju i vidimo vlastitim očima da su nam ljeta toplija. Indeksi pokazuju da godišnje rastu temperature, da nam se javljaju različiti temperaturni ekstremi", objašnjava.

Usporedno s tim toplinskim promjenama koje dolaze od toga što smo emitirali na milijarde tona ugljikovog dioksida u atmosferu, svaki put kad palimo naftu i plin dio toga ode u šume i oceane, ali oko 50 posto se akumulira u atmosferi, dodaje.

Navodi da se sad sve jasnije javljaju promjene u hidrološkom ciklusu. Sa svakim stupnjem toplija atmosfera ima mogućnost da sadrži više od sedam posto vodene pare.

"Kad bismo zagrijali svijet za tri stupnja, što je jedna od mogućnosti do kraja ovog stoljeća, to će biti 21 posto vodene pare u atmosferi, što je izuzetno…", kaže.

PODIZANJE RAZINE MORA

Stvari su, smatra, očito krenule u krivom smjeru što se tiče temperature i to, nažalost, sve ubrzanije. Kod oborinskih ekstrema i suše smo još u ranoj fazi gdje se situacija još može kontrolirati, ističe.

Na pitanje voditelja i urednika Ilije Jandrića o tome kolika je opasnost od podizanja mora, klimatolog kaže:

"Nisu svi dijelovi obale jednako ranjivi. Često se kao primjer navodi dolina Neretve, porast razine mora koji tjera Neretvu prema Jadranu to je definitvno područje zaslanjivanja. Jadran trenutno raste 3 do 4 milimetara svake godine. Nadamo se da se to neće ubrzati. Tko god planira nešto graditi u obalnoj zoni mora biti svjestan da je kroz razdoblje nekoliko desetljeća to dodatan rizik", objašnjava.

PRIJETI LI NESTAŠICA HRANE?

Komentirao je i proizvodnju hrane te prijeti li zbog suša i velikih temperatura nestašica.

"Kad se gleda na razini svijeta postoji puno bacanja hrane, procjene su da se baca oko 30 posto hrane. Definitvno postoji prostor da se bolje iskoristi dostupno tlo koje nam je dano. Morat ćemo se prilagođavati nekim novim kulturama koje su izdržljivije za visoke temperature", smatra.

Za utjecaj ponovnog pokretanja elektrana na globalno zatopljenje kaže da će nas to definitivno vratiti jedan korak unatrag.

"Procjene su optimistične da će to trajati jedno određeno razdoblje kad će se paralelno stabilizirati ova geopoltička situacija", rekao je klimatolog Ivan Guttler za N1 televiziju.

Klimatolog Ivan Guttler, zamjenik ravnateljice DHMZ-a, komentirao je ekstremne klimatske prilike diljem svijeta u Newsnightu televizije N1.

"U ljetnoj smo sezoni kad su temperature inače prirodno veće. Ono što mi doživljavamo tijekom 20., sad i 21. stoljeća porast je tih temperaturnih iznosa. U znanosti nikada nemamo sto posto sigurno, ali dokazi pokazuju i vidimo vlastitim očima da su nam ljeta toplija. Indeksi pokazuju da godišnje rastu temperature, da nam se javljaju različiti temperaturni ekstremi", objašnjava.

Usporedno s tim toplinskim promjenama koje dolaze od toga što smo emitirali na milijarde tona ugljikovog dioksida u atmosferu, svaki put kad palimo naftu i plin dio toga ode u šume i oceane, ali oko 50 posto se akumulira u atmosferi, dodaje.

Navodi da se sad sve jasnije javljaju promjene u hidrološkom ciklusu. Sa svakim stupnjem toplija atmosfera ima mogućnost da sadrži više od sedam posto vodene pare.

"Kad bismo zagrijali svijet za tri stupnja, što je jedna od mogućnosti do kraja ovog stoljeća, to će biti 21 posto vodene pare u atmosferi, što je izuzetno…", kaže.

PODIZANJE RAZINE MORA

Stvari su, smatra, očito krenule u krivom smjeru što se tiče temperature i to, nažalost, sve ubrzanije. Kod oborinskih ekstrema i suše smo još u ranoj fazi gdje se situacija još može kontrolirati, ističe.

Na pitanje voditelja i urednika Ilije Jandrića o tome kolika je opasnost od podizanja mora, klimatolog kaže:

"Nisu svi dijelovi obale jednako ranjivi. Često se kao primjer navodi dolina Neretve, porast razine mora koji tjera Neretvu prema Jadranu to je definitvno područje zaslanjivanja. Jadran trenutno raste 3 do 4 milimetara svake godine. Nadamo se da se to neće ubrzati. Tko god planira nešto graditi u obalnoj zoni mora biti svjestan da je kroz razdoblje nekoliko desetljeća to dodatan rizik", objašnjava.

PRIJETI LI NESTAŠICA HRANE?

Komentirao je i proizvodnju hrane te prijeti li zbog suša i velikih temperatura nestašica.

Za utjecaj ponovnog pokretanja elektrana na globalno zatopljenje kaže da će nas to definitivno vratiti jedan korak unatrag.

"Procjene su optimistične da će to trajati jedno određeno razdoblje kad će se paralelno stabilizirati ova geopoltička situacija", rekao je klimatolog Ivan Guttler za N1 televiziju.

Klimatolog Ivan Guttler, zamjenik ravnateljice DHMZ-a, komentirao je ekstremne klimatske prilike diljem svijeta u Newsnightu televizije N1.

"U ljetnoj smo sezoni kad su temperature inače prirodno veće. Ono što mi doživljavamo tijekom 20., sad i 21. stoljeća porast je tih temperaturnih iznosa. U znanosti nikada nemamo sto posto sigurno, ali dokazi pokazuju i vidimo vlastitim očima da su nam ljeta toplija. Indeksi pokazuju da godišnje rastu temperature, da nam se javljaju različiti temperaturni ekstremi", objašnjava.

Usporedno s tim toplinskim promjenama koje dolaze od toga što smo emitirali na milijarde tona ugljikovog dioksida u atmosferu, svaki put kad palimo naftu i plin dio toga ode u šume i oceane, ali oko 50 posto se akumulira u atmosferi, dodaje.

Navodi da se sad sve jasnije javljaju promjene u hidrološkom ciklusu. Sa svakim stupnjem toplija atmosfera ima mogućnost da sadrži više od sedam posto vodene pare.

"Kad bismo zagrijali svijet za tri stupnja, što je jedna od mogućnosti do kraja ovog stoljeća, to će biti 21 posto vodene pare u atmosferi, što je izuzetno…", kaže.

PODIZANJE RAZINE MORA

Stvari su, smatra, očito krenule u krivom smjeru što se tiče temperature i to, nažalost, sve ubrzanije. Kod oborinskih ekstrema i suše smo još u ranoj fazi gdje se situacija još može kontrolirati, ističe.

Na pitanje voditelja i urednika Ilije Jandrića o tome kolika je opasnost od podizanja mora, klimatolog kaže:

"Nisu svi dijelovi obale jednako ranjivi. Često se kao primjer navodi dolina Neretve, porast razine mora koji tjera Neretvu prema Jadranu to je definitvno područje zaslanjivanja. Jadran trenutno raste 3 do 4 milimetara svake godine. Nadamo se da se to neće ubrzati. Tko god planira nešto graditi u obalnoj zoni mora biti svjestan da je kroz razdoblje nekoliko desetljeća to dodatan rizik", objašnjava.

PRIJETI LI NESTAŠICA HRANE?

Komentirao je i proizvodnju hrane te prijeti li zbog suša i velikih temperatura nestašica.
