Sa 62 hospitalizirana pacijenta s dijagnozom COVID-19 Klinički bolnički centar Rijeka jučer je otvorio novi COVID-odjel i respiratorni centar. Radi se o odjelu koji je prilagođen za skrb o COVID-pacijentima i koji se nalazi na Klinici za ginekologiju i porodništvo, a koji je prvi put otvoren koncem prošle godine, piše Novi list.
Iz riječke bolnice priopćili su da je novi odjel za COVID-bolesnike i dodatni respiratorni centar otvoren u zgradi Klinike za ginekologiju i porodništvo koji je organiziran u skladu sa svim zdravstveno-tehničkim uvjetima te su fizički odvojeni od klinike.
Prema riječima predstojnika Klinike za anesteziologiju i intenzivno liječenje prof. dr. Alena Protića, prosječna dob pacijenata koji se zbog COVID-a liječe uz pomoć respiratora niža je nego u jesenskom valu.
– Procijepljenost starije populacije uzrokuje smanjenje prosječne dobi naših pacijenata i tu je statistiku lako pratiti. Novi centar na Ginekologiji svakako će rasteretiti sadašnji COVID-centar, a nadamo se da će nešto mlađa populacija koja se u njemu liječi biti ipak otpornija na bolest. U svakom slučaju, mi smo spremni za scenarij kakav smo imali u prosincu, ističe Protić.
Riječka bolnica u prosincu je u jednom trenutku imala više od 160 hospitaliziranih pacijenata s dijagnozom COVID-19.
– U ovom trenutku prosječna dob naših pacijenata pala je ispod 70 godina te se trenutno kreće između 65 i 63 godine, no na respiratoru smo imali pacijente koji su bili 70. i 80. godište te očekujemo da će se prosječna dob naših pacijenata spustiti na 60 godina. Ako je suditi prema sadašnjoj situaciji, smatram da će centri namijenjeni COVID-bolesnicima u našoj bolnici biti otvoreni barem do kraja ove godine, upozorava Protić.
U KBC-u Rijeka računaju da će ovog proljeća broj redovnih zahvata biti smanjen za oko 20 posto.
– Zbog povećanja broja novih COVID-bolesnika u riječkoj bolnici, oko 25 posto anesteziologa i anestezioloških tehničara premješteno je na rad u respiracijske centre. S takvom preraspodjelom uspijevamo održavati oko 80 posto našeg redovnog programa. To se naravno ne odnosi na hitne pacijente jer naša intenzivna liječenja ne mogu patiti zbog ove situacije, poručuje Protić, piše Novi list.

Sa 62 hospitalizirana pacijenta s dijagnozom COVID-19 Klinički bolnički centar Rijeka jučer je otvorio novi COVID-odjel i respiratorni centar. Radi se o odjelu koji je prilagođen za skrb o COVID-pacijentima i koji se nalazi na Klinici za ginekologiju i porodništvo, a koji je prvi put otvoren koncem prošle godine, piše Novi list.
Iz riječke bolnice priopćili su da je novi odjel za COVID-bolesnike i dodatni respiratorni centar otvoren u zgradi Klinike za ginekologiju i porodništvo koji je organiziran u skladu sa svim zdravstveno-tehničkim uvjetima te su fizički odvojeni od klinike.
Prema riječima predstojnika Klinike za anesteziologiju i intenzivno liječenje prof. dr. Alena Protića, prosječna dob pacijenata koji se zbog COVID-a liječe uz pomoć respiratora niža je nego u jesenskom valu.
– Procijepljenost starije populacije uzrokuje smanjenje prosječne dobi naših pacijenata i tu je statistiku lako pratiti. Novi centar na Ginekologiji svakako će rasteretiti sadašnji COVID-centar, a nadamo se da će nešto mlađa populacija koja se u njemu liječi biti ipak otpornija na bolest. U svakom slučaju, mi smo spremni za scenarij kakav smo imali u prosincu, ističe Protić.
Riječka bolnica u prosincu je u jednom trenutku imala više od 160 hospitaliziranih pacijenata s dijagnozom COVID-19.
– U ovom trenutku prosječna dob naših pacijenata pala je ispod 70 godina te se trenutno kreće između 65 i 63 godine, no na respiratoru smo imali pacijente koji su bili 70. i 80. godište te očekujemo da će se prosječna dob naših pacijenata spustiti na 60 godina. Ako je suditi prema sadašnjoj situaciji, smatram da će centri namijenjeni COVID-bolesnicima u našoj bolnici biti otvoreni barem do kraja ove godine, upozorava Protić.
U KBC-u Rijeka računaju da će ovog proljeća broj redovnih zahvata biti smanjen za oko 20 posto.
– Zbog povećanja broja novih COVID-bolesnika u riječkoj bolnici, oko 25 posto anesteziologa i anestezioloških tehničara premješteno je na rad u respiracijske centre. S takvom preraspodjelom uspijevamo održavati oko 80 posto našeg redovnog programa. To se naravno ne odnosi na hitne pacijente jer naša intenzivna liječenja ne mogu patiti zbog ove situacije, poručuje Protić, piše Novi list.
