Dok brojke zaraženih, hospitaliziranih i onih na respiratoru rastu iz dana u dan, cijepljenje u Hrvatskoj gotovo stoji na mjestu, premda je tek polovica odraslih primila prvu dozu.

U takvoj situaciji može se očekivati da se pokrenu akcije koje će potaknuti necijepljene na zaštitu, no umjesto toga, sve se više raspravlja o trećoj dozi koju bi trebali dobiti oni koji su prvi bili na redu za cijepljenje još početkom godine. Dakle, treća doza namijenjena je zdravstvenim djelatnicima i korisnicima domova za starije, jer neka istraživanja govore da nakon šest i više mjeseci, zaštita pada. Stav Hrvatske o tome kome će se preporučiti treća doza cjepiva očekuje se u petak, za kada je zakazan sastanak u Ministarstvu zdravstva, među ostalim i na tu temu.

No, činjenica je da je zasad samo Američka agencija za lijekove (FDA) dala zeleno svjetlo za treću dozu, dok Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) tvrdi kako još nema dovoljno podatka za takvu preporuku, odnosno da nema dovoljno istraživanja koja bi potvrdila da je pad imuniteta toliki da je potrebno docjepljivanje, poglavito jer se ne zna kolika je stanična zaštita cijepljenih. Drugim riječima, zemlje EU za odluku o trećoj dozi nemaju formalno odobrenje koje se traži za svaku uporabu lijeka ili cjepiva, pa zasad sve ostaje na preporukama pojedinih vlada.

Neke su zemlje, poput Belgije, Slovenije, Mađarske, Francuske, Austrije i Luksemburga, već dale takve preporuke svojim građanima, a uskoro bi im se mogle pridružiti i Njemačka, Danska, Češka, Grčka i Cipar. Švedska i Poljska, pak, drže da treću dozu trebaju dobiti samo imunokompromitirani, kod kojih cjepiva lošije djeluju. Većina zemalja zasad preporučuje cijepljenje trećom dozom samo za korisnike domova za starije.

Jedno takvo ispitivanje imuniteta cijepljenih korisnika nakon šest, odnosno sedam, mjeseci od cijepljenja uskoro bi trebalo završiti. Rezultati će pokazati je li opravdano davati treću dozu.

"Vjerojatno će se pokazati da je ta treća doza potrebna kod većina korisnika, jer učinkovitost cjepiva s dobi brže pada. U domovima za starije u Zagrebu imali smo 50 zaraženih covidom-19, od kojih je troje umrlo. Dvoje umrlih bilo je cijepljeno, ali valja reći da se radi o ljudima starijima od 85 godina s kroničnim bolestima", kaže epidemiolog prof. dr. Branko Kolarić, član Vladina savjeta za covid-19.

U svakom slučaju, hrvatski stručnjaci drže da bi prioritet trebalo biti cijepljenje još uvijek necijepljenih, a ne treća doza cjepiva. Naime, u zemljama EU u kojima su se počele preporučivati dodatne doze cjepiva odrasla populacija cijepljena je više od 80 posto.

Dok brojke zaraženih, hospitaliziranih i onih na respiratoru rastu iz dana u dan, cijepljenje u Hrvatskoj gotovo stoji na mjestu, premda je tek polovica odraslih primila prvu dozu.

U takvoj situaciji može se očekivati da se pokrenu akcije koje će potaknuti necijepljene na zaštitu, no umjesto toga, sve se više raspravlja o trećoj dozi koju bi trebali dobiti oni koji su prvi bili na redu za cijepljenje još početkom godine. Dakle, treća doza namijenjena je zdravstvenim djelatnicima i korisnicima domova za starije, jer neka istraživanja govore da nakon šest i više mjeseci, zaštita pada. Stav Hrvatske o tome kome će se preporučiti treća doza cjepiva očekuje se u petak, za kada je zakazan sastanak u Ministarstvu zdravstva, među ostalim i na tu temu.

No, činjenica je da je zasad samo Američka agencija za lijekove (FDA) dala zeleno svjetlo za treću dozu, dok Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) tvrdi kako još nema dovoljno podatka za takvu preporuku, odnosno da nema dovoljno istraživanja koja bi potvrdila da je pad imuniteta toliki da je potrebno docjepljivanje, poglavito jer se ne zna kolika je stanična zaštita cijepljenih. Drugim riječima, zemlje EU za odluku o trećoj dozi nemaju formalno odobrenje koje se traži za svaku uporabu lijeka ili cjepiva, pa zasad sve ostaje na preporukama pojedinih vlada.

Neke su zemlje, poput Belgije, Slovenije, Mađarske, Francuske, Austrije i Luksemburga, već dale takve preporuke svojim građanima, a uskoro bi im se mogle pridružiti i Njemačka, Danska, Češka, Grčka i Cipar. Švedska i Poljska, pak, drže da treću dozu trebaju dobiti samo imunokompromitirani, kod kojih cjepiva lošije djeluju. Većina zemalja zasad preporučuje cijepljenje trećom dozom samo za korisnike domova za starije.

Jedno takvo ispitivanje imuniteta cijepljenih korisnika nakon šest, odnosno sedam, mjeseci od cijepljenja uskoro bi trebalo završiti. Rezultati će pokazati je li opravdano davati treću dozu.

"Vjerojatno će se pokazati da je ta treća doza potrebna kod većina korisnika, jer učinkovitost cjepiva s dobi brže pada. U domovima za starije u Zagrebu imali smo 50 zaraženih covidom-19, od kojih je troje umrlo. Dvoje umrlih bilo je cijepljeno, ali valja reći da se radi o ljudima starijima od 85 godina s kroničnim bolestima", kaže epidemiolog prof. dr. Branko Kolarić, član Vladina savjeta za covid-19.

U svakom slučaju, hrvatski stručnjaci drže da bi prioritet trebalo biti cijepljenje još uvijek necijepljenih, a ne treća doza cjepiva. Naime, u zemljama EU u kojima su se počele preporučivati dodatne doze cjepiva odrasla populacija cijepljena je više od 80 posto.

Odluka o trećoj dozi u Hrvatskoj u petak, evo koje zemlje EU su to već preporučile građanima

Dok brojke zaraženih, hospitaliziranih i onih na respiratoru rastu iz dana u dan, cijepljenje u Hrvatskoj gotovo stoji na mjestu, premda je tek polovica odraslih primila prvu dozu.

U takvoj situaciji može se očekivati da se pokrenu akcije koje će potaknuti necijepljene na zaštitu, no umjesto toga, sve se više raspravlja o trećoj dozi koju bi trebali dobiti oni koji su prvi bili na redu za cijepljenje još početkom godine. Dakle, treća doza namijenjena je zdravstvenim djelatnicima i korisnicima domova za starije, jer neka istraživanja govore da nakon šest i više mjeseci, zaštita pada. Stav Hrvatske o tome kome će se preporučiti treća doza cjepiva očekuje se u petak, za kada je zakazan sastanak u Ministarstvu zdravstva, među ostalim i na tu temu.

No, činjenica je da je zasad samo Američka agencija za lijekove (FDA) dala zeleno svjetlo za treću dozu, dok Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) tvrdi kako još nema dovoljno podatka za takvu preporuku, odnosno da nema dovoljno istraživanja koja bi potvrdila da je pad imuniteta toliki da je potrebno docjepljivanje, poglavito jer se ne zna kolika je stanična zaštita cijepljenih. Drugim riječima, zemlje EU za odluku o trećoj dozi nemaju formalno odobrenje koje se traži za svaku uporabu lijeka ili cjepiva, pa zasad sve ostaje na preporukama pojedinih vlada.

Neke su zemlje, poput Belgije, Slovenije, Mađarske, Francuske, Austrije i Luksemburga, već dale takve preporuke svojim građanima, a uskoro bi im se mogle pridružiti i Njemačka, Danska, Češka, Grčka i Cipar. Švedska i Poljska, pak, drže da treću dozu trebaju dobiti samo imunokompromitirani, kod kojih cjepiva lošije djeluju. Većina zemalja zasad preporučuje cijepljenje trećom dozom samo za korisnike domova za starije.

Jedno takvo ispitivanje imuniteta cijepljenih korisnika nakon šest, odnosno sedam, mjeseci od cijepljenja uskoro bi trebalo završiti. Rezultati će pokazati je li opravdano davati treću dozu.

"Vjerojatno će se pokazati da je ta treća doza potrebna kod većina korisnika, jer učinkovitost cjepiva s dobi brže pada. U domovima za starije u Zagrebu imali smo 50 zaraženih covidom-19, od kojih je troje umrlo. Dvoje umrlih bilo je cijepljeno, ali valja reći da se radi o ljudima starijima od 85 godina s kroničnim bolestima", kaže epidemiolog prof. dr. Branko Kolarić, član Vladina savjeta za covid-19.

U svakom slučaju, hrvatski stručnjaci drže da bi prioritet trebalo biti cijepljenje još uvijek necijepljenih, a ne treća doza cjepiva. Naime, u zemljama EU u kojima su se počele preporučivati dodatne doze cjepiva odrasla populacija cijepljena je više od 80 posto.
